Got a dozen oysters tonight at albertsons on 24th in billings tonight. Winco was all out so I went there for the first time. I could tell when I started grilling them something was off by the smell. 4 rotten and the rest not good at all. If you want fresh oysters don't go there. I came to Albertsons originally to get some medication for my partner and I got some food from the deli section as well. I'm not from here so I was just stopping through the area. The woman in the deli section didn't want to help me very much, but I believe the worker in bakery section's name was Taylin and she was kind enough to go out of her way to help me. It's been a hot minute since I set foot in an Albertsons. They all changed over to Fresh Markets here in my home turf, but up in IF they are apparently still going strong. I wish I could say there was something super distinctive about an Albertsons, but having gone several years without being in one, it felt like most any other grocery store. They're not riding the fancy train, the local angle, or the healthy slant. No, this is your everyday grocery store. We came in looking for a few specific items to have on hand for our dinner and for our breakfast plans the next day, and they had everything we were after. Bacon, potatoes, and we also perused the greeting card section. They don't have a bargain card section, and it's astounding that greeting cards cost $5 these days, but that's not an Albertsons thing, it's just the world we live in. Expect all the regular sections--bakery, deli, frozen, dairy--and while I don't recall anything that stood out, I think this is also a selling point that an out of town dude can come in and be immediately at home and find what he needs quite quickly. The line for checkout was pretty darn long, but that's probably due to the time of day (Saturday afternoon) and not any major flaw. Still, it was packed in there and if you can avoid that time for a visit, you're going to just be doing yourself a favor and you'll wait in line far less than we did. read more

The Broadway store in Idaho Falls meat department never seam to have the sale items in stock on the weekends. Two week ago when t bone steaks were on sale they were out by Sunday. Today being Father's Day the New York strip steaks on sale were out of stock. This has been happening a lot lately with sale items. Not all people have time to shop during the week and have to do it on the weekend. read more

I usually have nothing bad to say about this location except for today. Yesterday (2/6/23) I bought some cinnamon chip muffins in a 4 pack.. and I was the only one who ate them. Within 30 minutes I became violently ill and was vomiting for 12 hours among other things. I'm not sure what was contaminated, but we threw the muffins out and no one else in my family got sick. I don't think I will buy anymore fresh baked food from their bakery after enduring the longest night of my life of pain, bloody vomit and now struggling to keep water down. Shout out to Chance the cashier he saved the day. Saw that my finger was bleeding from getting stuff off the shelf and ask if I needed a bandage. Very observant being I didn't even notice myself it was bleeding. Very nice young man and a great asset to Albertsons. This is regarding their pharmacy. There is ALWAYS an issue with them and using the correct insurance. Countless times have they attempted using an insurance I've told them countless times not to do, and they try to force you to pay out of pocket instead of correcting errors that they create read more

My friends and I came here to grab some groceries, and it's a pretty average grocery store. They have plenty of varieties for items, and we grabbed some peanut butter, tomatoes, and cheese. Prices are a tad bit higher than other grocery stores, but you'll be able to find anything you need here! read more

Although Albertsons has a huge variety of produce (especially some not found in the area), seafood, meats, specialized drinks, loads of selections of wine and beers, and even houses a Starbucks-- it's outrageously expensive! I only use their pharmacy because they accepted a coupon that they apply every month. I do enjoy browsing the store, smelling the fresh baked goods from the bakery, and looking through the assortments of Kombucha, but I don't shop here. I don't ever see myself shopping here unless -they either drastically drop their prices- or they have a going out of business sale. 2 stars because they have such a fantastic selection, but not some place I will shop. read more

I used like Albertsons. Our family has shopped at the 17th St. location for decades. At least we did until they remodeled the store, added the Starbucks, and then jacked up their prices. The quality of the produce and meats are ok, but they don't warrant the high prices. I can get better produce and meats for a portion of the price at the big grocery store on 1st street. They also took away the self-checkout lanes in order to provide better service to their customers. This is a great thought on paper but in reality, it causes customers to wait longer, therefore making the shopping experience less than desirable. I now only shop here out of sheer convenience when I only need an item or two and don't want to drive across town to my favorite store. read more

I was sold expired food. When I complained I was given the run around. When I complained about the lack of mask wearing enforcement again I was given the run around! My son was in the ICU at the hospital- My main priority was his health. Albertsons did not care. I was told to go in the store and file a complaint despite the pictures I supplied them. I would go in there every day and buy muffins for the staff in the hospital that were taking care of my son.I stopped going because I was a so Disgusted at the lack of cleanliness in that store read more

This location was open on Christmas Day. This location is where we did all the grocery shopping as I was a kid growing up. It's been remodeled twice since I can remember it as a child. The latest remodel is a typical SuperValu store layout. It's well lit, well labeled and organized. There is a pharmacy at this store, which one of Idaho Falls' Albertsons stores (Broadway) does not have. The reason Albertsons gets only three stars from me is that their prices continue to be higher than other grocers in the area. I am not sure why this is. read more

First time to this Albertsons location. I was stopping by to check out the wine selection- and boy was I impressed! Albertsons was offering a deal for 25% off six bottles of wine. Reward programs like this do not exist where I come from. I found six bottles I wanted with ease and also a MAGNUM bottle of La Marca Prosecco (I also don't have these where I come from). Great selection and deals overall. The cashier was friendly and quick. I recommend shopping at this Albertsons location. read more

For the past 3 years I have used albertsons bakery (in Phoenix) for my kids birthday. We threw a party in Idaho falls. Long story short the lady who took our order was in such a hurry I am surprised she got any of it right. I had a family member pick up my order. When she brought it home I was so disappointed but glad I picked it up a day early just incase of such problems. One cake the icing/decorating was done wrong and the other the figurine was pushed in about a inch into the cake. It looked awful. Both looked like they were put together as sloppy as could be. I called right away but the decorator was gone for the day. I asked if she could call me back ASAP. She never I did. I called first thing in the morning. She was one of the most rude and unprofessional employees I have ever met. She all but called me a liar. She said I had never ordered such things(even though I had a witness there when I place the order) and she didn't do this or that. It literally turned into a yelling match over the phone. She said she would do nothing for me. When I finally was able to speak over the decorator I asked for a manger, he took care of the situation politely and quickly. I told him how disappointed I was in the attitude of the decorator and in no way is there ever a reason for a decorator or employee to ever yell at a customer. It's not a life or death situation here. The only reason I'm rating this 2 stars is because how the manager handled the situation. I will never recommend this particular store or shop from that bakery again. My advice for the store and for whoever decides to shop here. Overlook your order form and sign that you agree. Also I suggest you take the figurines and place it on yourself prior to the party. The stores I have shopped from in Az do this and it's quite smart. I shop here instead of the Albertsons closer to my house, especially when I need flowers. They have a wonderful florist who has made me special corsages and special balloon bundles. She's amazing. Actually all of the people here are friendly and helpful, and they go the extra mile for their customers. I have had employees scamper through the store with me helping me find what I need when I'm in a hurry. They act excited about my projects. This Albertsons is my favorite and it has my business. read more

This Albertsons location has always been a good one IMHO, it is always clean, the people that work there are always nice and knowledgeable. I want to send a shout out to the young man (to be fair he could be in his thirties and just looks young :) ) tending the self check out at around 7:30 pm 3/16/2020. As with these times, I was in the store hoping to find a little bit of white bread and as you might expect the shelves were bare exept for a handful of bread that was around $6 a loaf and very small...which is not in our budget. So I looked in the bakery to see if I could find something that might work and found three loaves of french bread just put out as it was still warm, and no one saw them in the corner area! So I grabbed them up and went to the self check out and discovered that I had left my wallet at home...so I called the cashier and told him I needed the transaction cancelled and now that I knew that little spot I would come back in the morning. I was going to put them back but he insisted he would, but then he hesitated and instead pulled out his wallet and informed me he would get it for us. The breads were 1.99 ea, not a big bill, but WOW...I was like no it's ok...we will be fine for the night and he insisted and said, just pay it forward. He also said, in these times we need to help one another out because we just don't know what is going to happen tomorrow. I feel that at this time in our history it is important to help each other out, and was incredibly grateful for the assist. I will be paying it forward and hope he knows that that one act of kindness will become many!!! Thank You!!! I will obviously continue to shop at my local Albertsons! read more
