Worst customer service. After speaking with the manager because I needed to do a return(I'm leaving the country for 3 months), she said that " it wasn't the stores fault that their customers service closes at 8 pm" hmm really and after I explained that I would be put of town for 3- 4 months she still stated it was too bad that she can't change or override policies. The managers' attitude is the lack of customer service.. there are better ways of communicating with your customers when they have to forfeit their money. Like, really, I'm the inconvenience to you. While I was out on my way to ride my powerful and exciting adventure motorcycles in the mountains and deserts of Arizona we stop by this Walmart. The place was very busy there was no carts available bunch of people were scurrying around looking for a cart. Someone said many of the carts were stolen and there's back order so they have a shortage. After perusing the store I found it very odd that everything is locked up in glass cases. Not everything but a lot of things. Lightbulbs for your car, underwear all kinds of crazy stuff that I have never seen locked up before. Got my items went to the checkout the lines were horrendously long I think there was two aisles open and the line extended quite a bit out and down and around and up and over and sideways and back around. Would much rather have waited in a TSA airport line as it went so slow. After 15 minutes we barely moved three steps and yet we still had to wind up over around down back sideways front etc. to get to the register. It seemed like hours in line.. but unfortunately being on the road we had no choice and had to wait and wait and wait and wait and wait and wait and wait. I am sure it's just a temporary labor shortage that no one would run a business like this intentionally so hopefully soon it will be better. read more

i live right by this place, i have for 4 years. theres noise going on all hours of the night and the shoppers are honking all hours of the night. i'm not just talking about polite honking either. the lights that emit from this place are annoying as hell and the semis unloading shake the entire house. it's impossible to get sleep living next to this rat hole. not to mention i've been profiled and followed by numerous secret shoppers, and just letting y'all know, if you're not dressed nice and you obviously went through checkout, they will harass you for your receipt. read more

The deli/bakery area! Young black guy behind the counter, made 4-5 X's eye contact with me. Mind you I was the "ONLY" customer at the counter period. He was the "ONLY" worker behind the counter. 4/27/23 we pulled in about 5:30 and security advised us of no overnight parking at about 8 pm. Woke up the semi-truck driver next to us as well. Said there is so much crime that no Walmart in Albuquerque area allows overnight parking. Security told us that gangs had broken into occupied campers while people slept and robbed them. They directed us to the Cracker Barrel about 2 blocks away. Since we were from out of the area, it would have been nice for security to have advised us prior to it getting dark. Only ordered a couple times. Last time they asked me if I want a membership with a free month. I said no. I will forget to cancer. Well they did it anyway. 1/2 of items missing or wrong and forgot and charged a large item they didn't even have a picture of when they dropped it off. They are only crediting 6 months of membership which they charged to a credit card they made me put in even though I was using PayPal. I didn't know there was a problem as I had put away that card last year. Can't get 2 of my script filled either because they are always out of stock. I don't like to complain. Its like they don't know how to do their job I ordered groceries at 1pm. The walmart app said it will arrive by 6-8pm. Well then comes 7:30pm. My order gets delayed for 2 hours. Which ok I'm not to upset with but, by my calculation it should've been here by 9:30 pm. So it went from getting groceries on the time of arrival to them being late to me having to cancel the order because i have a curfew and re order. I just find it funny how it says it'll be arriving at this time but it doesn't arrive at set time. You should maybe consider getting a better software system for your app to be more accurate. Or get employees who value their job and get it done right the first time. Walmart has gone down hill since covid. Thought y'all praised your customer services and how good it is. Well obviously Not. What does Walmart just hire anyone these days. Like damn Retail isn't that hard of a job. Yea its stressful because of dumbass customers but it doesn't help when you have dumb ass employees as well. The day of August 6 2022 came to this Walmart on coors to get a simple oil change and while my family and I were inside the store browsing waiting for them to work on the oil change we thought everything was okay and good. But once we were done and got some things, paid for with the tab/paper they had given us. And the paperwork stated that everything was great/good condition except the window wipers and we walked out to the car and while getting my kids in the car, noticed the passenger back tire had a nail or some type of metal on the outer wall in which was not there before. I decided to confront the person who did the oil change and he said he did not notice it, so he got his manager who was a complete A**Hole saying he can't do anything about it so, he recommends the supervisor for me to talk to; rolling his eyes at me. Once I had talked to the supervisor she came to my vehicle and inspected what I was talking about; skinny metal sticking out of the outer side wall.... and she clearly stated that she ain't going to do anything about it since they are not her tires or from this Walmart brand that it's not gonna show up on the cameras they have due to it being on a tire and at a distance which I was upset due to the workers not stating it on the paperwork or even doing anything about it. So she apologized and told me to go to discount tire where we originally got tires put on if we have warranty/road hazard then walked away. read more

They harass you in this store. And they have the one arm man to do it. It's pretty sad. My little girl and I were trying to buy a birthday gift for her friend. I was wearing a stupid mask like they say. The one armed man didn't like my mask so he offered me "Walmart's mask" saying it is required and mine was not allowed. I finished doing my shopping but my daughter is officially damaged from them singling us out and a a group of workers following us and reporting our every move through the store. This is HARRASSMENT! NOT EVEN ONE STAR. Nov 11 2020 @ approx. 1800-1900. I took my mom to Walmart to get her stuff, she's very ill, I only take her out when she is feeling ok or has the strength. We are regulars at this Walmart, we loyally come to this location. And we are generous spenders here too. We shopped and when we were ready to pay for our stuff, we went to register number 16, it was our turn to unload on the counter when I noticed there was no divider, I looked around and grabbed one from another empty register counter. the cashier told me (rudely) "where did you get that?" I said, "from this register" she says "put it back! I have one here" I looked around and said "where?" She took out the one she had which was placed or hidden next to her behind the counter. I thought whoa.. and said, "ok." Shrugged my shoulders like I always do when I feel stupid. Then she says, "and don't put anything up yet, "I need to wipe it down.." I just said, "ok sheesh" and waited for her instructions. Since she used a tone and was mean. She started to ring our stuff up while I was helping my mom. I noticed and she was saying rude things to my mom and my mom finally told her, "Be Nice", the cashier says, "YOU BE NICE" and started muttering things under her breathe we can't hear. we asked, "what did you say?" she said, "YOU KNOW YOU'RE LUCKY TO EVEN SHOP!" The cashier even threw my moms vegetables towards the end of our things on the counter. My mom got so upset and told her, "stop! don't do that!" and asked "what's your name?" She says, "PITA!", my mom says can I see your badge? The cashier shoved her name badge in my mom's face exactly 3 inches from my mom's eyes, It said "TINALYNN". My mom says. "whoa you don't do that! that's very rude and you're very rude, all did was ask your name and apparently it's not correct the name you gave us" The cashier muttered more things about names and I asked another worker for the Store Manager. 1. The cashier was EXTREMELY rude with her tone 2. She lied to us about her name 3. She threw our food with absolutely NO RESPECT. (In our culture, you do not treat the food that will nourish your body that way, especially someone else's food) 4. She WOULD NOT STOP, she kept muttering HATEFUL things under her mask and breathe 5. She should not be in the customer industry with her shortness and rude abrupt hateful behavior. Now that was the most mentally unstable customer service agent I ever encountered in all the Walmart's I've been to. And I travel alot. I am taking to CORPORATE. Ordered a fan from them online in the color white. They sent the color gray. Did everything on the app to return it and drop it off at the store. While at the store was told that the refund could not go back on my credit card but could only go onto a Walmart gift card. What a scummy business. They don't know how to do a simple return there. I am from NY originally and cringe when people say that we are sooo rude. If you really want to see people with zero manners, come to Albuquerque. The customer service in this town is the worst I've ever encountered and this Wal-Mart is the prototype. I almost get hives when I have to come here. The employees are always in your way stocking shelves--they don't realize who pays their bills. Today I was in the personal hygiene section where this female employee had her U-boat (yes I worked in a supermarket once) blocking the aisle. I said "Excuse me" hoping to pass. She looked me up and down as if my appearance was important in her decision to move. Nothing happened. "Can I pass?" Naturally because I called the employee on her rudeness, she predictably said "You don't have to be so rude about it." I said back "Yeah I'm just the customer that's all." As you plan an RV cross country trip, Walmart promotes It values it RV customers. As I sit in this parking lot waiting for my husband to finish shopping, a nice security guard approached us and stated that RV's are not permitted to stay overnight. I knew that due to the sign out front. This walmart is directly connected to two interstate ms 40/25 so most people will stole if there on there way to Colorado like us. If I didn't arrive so late I would shop elsewhere. Walmart needs to eliminate the RV friendly sites. Target need to jump on board. read more

Super Walmart to the rescue! When on vacation, I try to use some local grocery store to find something to eat while commuting, or too busy to find a convenient meal. SuperWalmarts have a food section/deli/Subway/ and a lot more sale items. We tried some of the Birds-eye Voila! frozen foods. To our surprise, they were pretty good. I had my brother order my daughter a birthday cake from the bakery for her 1st birthday. When we went to pick up the cake, what they handed us was a massive disappointment to say the least. As evidenced in the pictures, they took zero care into making this a presentable cake. When our obvious disappointment was expressed, the employee behind the counter simply shrugged and said here it is and made no attempt to correct the cake. So now we have a piece of crap cake for my daughter's first birthday. A one star review is generous in my opinion. Go elsewhere for your cake needs! read more

Went to Walmart this afternoon to shop for soda snd a few produce. Paid at the self checkout register and for some reading I forgot to pull my receipt. I was asked for my receipt at the door and frantically searched for my receipt but couldn't find it. The security guys detained my for more than 40 minutes. I showed them my bank information that showed my last transaction was Walmart. The security guy told me it does not prove anything because it could have been a transaction from the morning. They proceeded to check the camera and said they saw me at the register but didn't see me pull any receipt. They didn't tell me to go at any time instead the black security guy told me I'm no special than the rest of the people that get asked. I stood there while they looked on and everybody looked at me . I have never felt so embarrassed and humiliated. I asked to speak to the manager snd the black security guy just yelled that he would tell me the same thing. I told him to shut up and then he got mad snd called me rude. I later called snd reported to the manager, Zach. I will not shop there anymore. read more

Today, I went to customer service asking to get a price adjustment for a TV that I purchased the day before while traveling. While driving back home, we noticed the online price was $50 less than the price we paid in the store. The associate told me that Walmart's policy is that price adjustments have to be done in the store that it was purchased in. I reminded him that it was purchased in another state. He said, "Sorry". Then I told him that I had just read the price adjustment for Walmart on line before coming here (which I had) and I didn't remember seeing that in the policy. He then changed his statement to "It's our policy". Well, he's in a Walmart customer service department and wearing a Walmart name tag, what's the difference? I then told him I could have just walked in and said the TV is broken, gotten my money back, and then done an instore pickup for the TV and gotten the online price. Why are we making this that hard. His answer, "Sorry its our policy". This is why brick and mortar stores are losing business to online. You are putting yourselves out of a job with stupid policies. read more

Who doesn't get at least a little giddy with anticipation when they know they'll have the unique pleasure of spending their hard earned cash at Wally World? It is a unique pleasure, at least for myself, because I know that when I'm headed to Wally World it's specifically because I have no alternative option to go anywhere else, period. Who wouldn't look forward to a visit to this parking lot? As it turns out, the parking spaces actually share elbow room with shopping carts, which is such a cool alternative to the old put-the-cart-away-yourself ordeal. Really classy customers, here. They're often sporting pajamas. Want the latest ABQ fashions? Hit this Wally World in particular. And really, the pajamas are simply an extension of their unique approach to customer service, where the Express lanes often compete with the usual check-out lanes for pure sleepy indulgence. The last time we were here, no joke, my wife jumped in an Express lane and I left the building, drove the car to the Wangstop (one mile away), waited for them to cook up an order of fries, hopped back in the car and arrived back in front of Wally World just seconds after my wife paid for the goods. Amazing! And have I mentioned how unique the products tend to be? Totally unexpected finds that will crack, sputter, wheeze and die within weeks of purchase. I'm sure this is precisely the vision Sam Walton had for his empire when he stressed the importance of American Made. And then he died. And his children clearly had other plans. Sublime. I know I'm being a little snarky here, but give me this one note of honesty: the cashiers at this location are always friendly and surprisingly cool. read more

This particular Walmart seems a little sketchy to me. I understand that there have been shootings in the parking lot, which isn't a good thing, that's for sure! That would really take the fun out of a family day shopping here. And an exceptional amount of shoplifting. Then again, it is huge, so fun to get lost in. I would have said -2 stars, I was out of milk and cereal so I check the web site and it says open to 11pm. So I jump into the car and drive up there so so I can have breakfast in the morning. I pull in and park and walk the 200 feet to the store entrance and get told we're closed looking at my watch and my phone it tells me it's only 9:00pm, I show them their website in that it says very clearly that your open! Then I get threatened with arrest!!! Total B.S!!' And one more thing I don't like about this store is the fact that it was 24-hr and even before the pandemic they started closing early, I feel this is in violation of the contract they offered the city to build this Walmart they promised to give workers 3x shifts a day...I'm going to say that's aleast 26 jobs lost, probably a lot more cause of Walmart's part time policy, very rarely are they full time 'cause they don't have to offer benefits to part timers... read more

I decided to order a item online at walmart.com and do Site to Store. For those of you who don't know, Site to Store is where you order an item on Walmart's website and pick it up in the store for free the same day without having to go search the shelves for it. When I walked to the back where the Site to store desk is at there was nobody there, so I clicked the button that said "Help". After I pressed the button the screen said "An associate will be right with you". I waited for about 5 min until an employee came and asked me "have you been helped yet?" I said "no" and she paged someone on the intercom to come assist me. After waiting another 5 minutes a walmart associate finally came and helped me after there was a line behind me. For some reason this situation dident surprise though because it's Walmart. It would have been quicker to just go search the shelves for the item myself. This is probably the last time I will do Site to Store at this Walmart location. This is already one of my least favorite Walmarts in Albuquerque anyway because everyone seems to be shady. read more

One star is almost being too nice. This store is not even worth stepping into. So today I came in to this walmart for a couple of things, and everything about this store is horrendous. There's no sense of cleanliness at all, and all the employees are so unapproachable giving all their customers side eyes. Everywhere you walk in this store you see messy, disgusting shelves. There's unnecessary cardboard everywhere, and the employees are so careless that they leave almost five full pallets in every aisle. It's impossible to do anything around them. But besides this store looking an absolute mess, the people in the front end are literally ridiculous. We had an experience with a young cashier named Louie, slowest and most clueless cashier ever. He had us waiting in line for almost 30 minutes because he kept wandering around looking clueless for help. And then at the end, me and my partner ask to split the transaction and this kid continues to charge everything on one card! Absolutely ridiculous how all these employees lack proper training, and any good customer service. Terrible store, period. read more

This is my neighborhood Walmart. It has everything that I'm looking for and I find myself coming here several times a week. I am very happy that they have started closing at midnight for safety reasons. I do wish that they would have a few more lanes open during the extremely busy part of the day or if it's a special holiday like tax-free weekend.
