Why have self checkout that's unlimited items? We need lanes for people with less than 10 items! Most poorly run Walmart I've ever been in!!

Walmart is a last resort shopping location for me. I popped in real quick to drop off a package at FedEx. I prefer to shop locally owned before big corporations. The store is not as clean as it used to be. read more

I am not sure why people are so harsh in judging this store. The standard, sealed products that you buy at other stores are dropped off by the same trucks. Personnel are very helpful and courteus. The store is older but brand names are all the same, except for less money. read more

Extremely poor. I paid for my items, as I leave the checkout lane I'm 'required' to show my receipt??!! Walmart makes the assumption that all their customers are stealing! It was a rare occurrence for me to shop here but never again. Back to Target I go. read more

My only issue is the staff seems to be rude and unhelpful at this location. Tried to buy a patio umbrella but no one was in the lawn and garden to check it out, I asked someone and they said I would have to walk all the way to the center registers, I have a bad knee so that was not possible. My daughter in law took her car here for an oil change, when she picked the car up the check engine light was on and the transmission light was on. She is young and didn't know to go in and enquire at the Walmart service desk as to why the car was perfectly fine when she dropped it off and now has two fault lights popping up, so she drove it home like that. The next week she took it to a different shop and they said the TRANSMISSION fluid had been emptied. Now I can't PROVE Walmart did this to her car, but she brought it in with NO check engine light or transmission light, got her oil changed (presumably) and suddenly her transmission fluid is drained? Um ok. My husband went in to speak to the manager but he wasn't there, spoke to some other gentleman who apparently looked according to him "high as a kite" I can't for the life of me understand how someone could accidentally drain transmission oil, it looks completely different than engine oil, so someone made a mistake and didn't say anything or they did it purposely, if you think it's worth saving 20 bucks to take your car to Walmart for service be aware the repair for the transmission was $900.00. That's the most expensive oil change ever. She was told before not to go to Walmart for car service but don't listen, please learn from her mistake. read more

What could you improve? Almost everything. At 10:30 am on a Thursday, there is one (maybe two) checkout lanes open that have a cashier. The self-checkout lanes are backed into the aisles of the store. No one seems concerned about making other checkouts lanes available. read more

I have a birthday party for my child, I have to buy many things for the party, the self check out is closed. I had to go to the cashier but they wouldn't check me out because I bought more than 20 items. Have never gone shopping and been refused payment because I bought too much. If there were 0 stars, I would rate it as a place not to go to buy things. read more

What the heck auto department. I had to wait for a manager to do a service check on my tuck. The manager came after being paged 4 times in 20 minutes strolling down the isle with his fast food cup. This guy must know all about trucks. Apparently my 6 L. only takes 3.5 according to how much oil they put in. Did not bother to check the little sticker on the windshield. So thanks for wasting my time waiting for this super professional man to check all the failures of his staff. Great manager check!! Keep up the shitty work! read more

This is only getting one start because zero isn't an option. This has to the the WORST Walmart in the land. It's just before noon on a Friday...a holiday no less though, in my experience, I'm that really doesn't matter. Four lanes are open with lines into the clothing section. Both ends of self-checkout are open with lines down into the main aisles on either end. It's ridiculous. I will pay the extra money for the two things I go here for from now on. This isn't new and isn't Covid- related. It's always this way. Every time I go in thinking that today will be the day they get it right, I'm wrong. Why there are so many lanes when they never have more than 3-4 open is beyond me. Thanks but no thanks, Walmart on Whiskey Road. We'll go elsewhere from now on. read more

I am a regular customer at their pharmacy. I've been there at least four times picking my needed prescription. In the last visit, they required my Medicare card and was refused because I did not have it with me. I was not required of it in the last visits. I happen to be Asian-American, and each time there is a new pharmacist working, caution comes my way. Prescriptions are always essential to life and death. read more

Attempted to use a manufacturer's coupon and got denied. They failed at explaining why the coupon was not accepted. She said something about a "key turn not letting it go through the system." I guess I'm supposed to speak Walmartian and know what that means. read more

Lazy cashiers. One was busy talking about her boyfriend to a coworker. She got angry when I asked for help in the self checkout. Very very long nails that she was having a hard time typing on the screen. Gross! read more

Went here during a training trip for work. Location was perfect because it was right across the street from the hotel. Almost walking distance. I expected as much as I would from any Walmart. There was nothing that stood out and the staff seemed cordial and overall friendly. If you've been to one Walmart you'll know this Walmart pretty well. read more

Thursday at 7pm there is only 1 check out open and there are 8 people in line. This a norm for WM in Aiken. But if you look around there will be 5 to 10 cashiers standing around talking about their boyfriend or how long their finger nails are or some other BS......but for sure not helping the customers read more

I went to the walmart on whiskey road in SC and went to the customer service area to cash a personal check because they do this now. Gave them my ID and the check and because my first name was spelt different then what was on my ID they said they could not cash it. How many of you have parents that dont call you by your given birth name? Mine uses the short version of my first name so when the check was written for me that is what they used, was the shortened part of my first name. As far as I'm concerned this is total BS, bet if I was black they would have done it. Not being racist just being realistic. Warning: if you plan on going to your local walmart to cash a personal check make sure the issuer writes down the name as it reads on your ID. read more
