I was advised that the…read moreBotox was on 'back order' when the PA finally got to me in the room and if that was known to me when I first checked in, I would have waited for it to come in. So, I was giving the alternative to try jeuveau. I should have known better because of how I was asking the PA questions and she was very skeptical and hesitant with her answers that I should not have done it. But I tried it anyway thinking maybe it could be better. Afterwards, I talked to my sister who stated that it sounded really weird that Botox, of all things, would be on "backorder" and that she felt that I was pretty much bamboozled by them trying to push a new product because of the almighty dollar. As soon as she said it, I felt the same!! I was also told this was going to work faster than even the Botox. And it has done absolutely nothing!! I was able to see results within hours from Botox but not with this stuff. Nothing!! I don't suggest it. I'm 50 and only do Botox for the crease between my eyes. So, I have lost out on $165 for something that was suggested by the PA with her not even really knowing the effects of it because she even said she hasn't used it and that one's on me. Lesson learned. 3 stars bc I seriously feel now that I was nothing but a simple sale and now I'm stuck for 3 months of not being able to actually get Botox. Needless to say, the crease between my eyes seems to be more pissed off at this point. Maria, medical assistant, is awesomeness though!!! So 5 STARS for her!!! But then again, she had to know there was no Botox too.... Hmmmm.

The main parking and one of the side parking lots was slammed packed and patrons were steady flowing in and out going to the store. If you were one of the few who braved the queue and waited for the doors to open, Belk's showed their appreciation by offering door gifts and gift cards up to $1000 dollars. Now, I did not hear anybody jump for joy and scream so the 1K still might be available. The store was well prepared and Belk staff from other US locations were in full force to assist when needed. In addition, they offered fresh hot chocolate, coffee, water and scones for the brave souls who needed a respite from shopping or browsing. Your patient will be tested due to all..I mean all...the cash registers were queued up with patrons happy with their upcoming purchases. Now sad to say there were a couple of issues very noticeable: 1) There was a customer representative (dressed in slacks, tie and vest) who was assisting customers on both sides of the jewelry counter, so he was very focused in providing each customer with a quality interaction, when I observed a fellow female customer representative in the same area display a condescending attitude towards him in front of customers because she could not get an override key for a sale. The gentleman informed her he would be over there as soon as possible and the female employee stated to the customer in her queue, "Oh, we have to wait on HIM!." Looks plain typed out, but sounded very condescending! From what I gathered, he was responsible for the registers in the immediate jewelry area and wanted to ensure that transactions would balance out possibly at the end of the day. (Just my observation) 2) Sad to say but someone tried to get a 5-finger discount, but they did not get too far. Yes, this is a southern style store, but whoever the Buyer is for the store introduced some men's clothing with flair, so kudos!!! -More to follow...

My mom was assaulted in the store by a male Belk's employee. She was returning a sweater that she…read morenever wore (with the tags on it) stating that it looks like it would snag on her clothes. The employee then grabbed my mother by her wrists, turned them up and said "This is why right here" while looking at her wrist jewelry and watch. My mom didn't know how to react and quickly left the store. She called me, crying after she ran a red light because she was so out of it after that experience. I told her to go back to the store and we would call LE because this was assault. Conveniently, the employee was gone after she got back and called the police. We are pressing charges against the employee for assault (camera verified the incident.) All this from a sweater that she had every right to return. Women, please be careful shopping this location alone. They employee men who will treat you any kind of way when there is no male presence with you.
