So many people don't like Walmart, but I do. Yes, I do shop local, but Walmart is always there when you need them. Everything you might need in one great big box. But, as prices go up, you must pay attention because some of their prices are higher than other stores. They do have a better selection than most stores, and that's a plus. As with all stores, pay attention to expiration dates. You never know! And by the way, those cart corrals out in the parking lot are there for a reason! read more

Hope they get the compressor in their automotive department fixed soon... at least that's what they told me when I asked to purchase a tire and have it mounted. I was asked to drive to the other location on the other side of town to check if they could do it. I asked them to make sure... the guy called and never got an answer. Stood in line 15 minutes to buy less than $10 worth of groceries. Called the service desk to ask them to open more registers. It rang and rang and rang. No one answered. This was following an interaction with the pharmacy. Dropped off 3 scripts at 9:00am. At 5:30 they weren't ready. Can we give a negative star? I was in this store at 8 pm and there was only one register open. It took 13 minutes for them to open another register. There where a lot of elderly and disabled people in the store who were having difficulty. Then I called 800 Wal Mart customer service and they hung up on me. I called to speak to the unnamed manager this morning and was laughed at and put on hold indefinitely. I tried to come in a door on the grocery side and was told I think we're about to lock the door. So I moved my car to the other end of the parking lot so I could go in the other door since I recently had hip surgery. When I walked in the guy said nothing and I walked all the way to the opposite corner of the store to get milk. When I came all the way back to that same door after checking out, he told me that he just locked the door. I had to walk all the way to the opposite door to walk out and then all the back back to the opposite side to get to my car. He literally wears walking away from the door just 10 steps away from it and he would not open it to let me back out. I explained I just had hip surgery and it is hard to walk long distances and I had moved my car because the other lady said they were locking the other door, but he didn't care. He literally told me, "I try to tell people and they don't seem to care so I stopped telling them". I was irritated so I told him "not everyone that comes in knows which door locks especially when the other door person says otherwise". He said "I get tired of telling them". read more

Came here for a few supplies before going to work. It was cold and rainy. They had most things I needed. Seems real people are fewer each visit. More and more computers and self check out. Prices are not adjusted for less team members. Hardly any checkers anymore or help to find items needed. Only stickers for shelves. Checkers get less and less with increases demand on minimum wages. You notice this store is losing more and more real people checking out your purchases rack month. Soon it will have no humans checking you out but yourself. read more

LEAVE YOUR PETS AT HOME. Walmart is NOT PET FRIENDLY. I have a legitimate, fully trained service dog to help mitigate my disabilities. By taking your pet into a non-pet friendly place like Walmart, you are making life increasingly dangerous and difficult for people such as myself. I just left the store after seeing a lady with a chihuahua in her cart. This is a health code violation and a violation of federal law. Who wants a chihuahua sitting in the carts we put our food in? I certainly don't. Task-trained service dogs are the ONLY dogs legally allowed in this store. No pets, no emotional support animals, only task trained service dogs. Has anyone one else ever been accused of stealing using the self check out my wife and I paid a 995.35 cents got to the door and were accused of missing items by the store. We did our best and asked for assistance at least four times yet even with their assistance and approval we still got humiliated before we even got to the door. We had plenty of money and no need to steal and are infuriated at this apparent trap. We plan to sue vigorously but wondered if anyone else with less resources has had a similar experience?????????? read more

What do I like about this Walmart? It is close to where I live, prices are not to bad but could be better, 95% of the time they have what I want. What I don't like about this Walmart? The workers do not always ask if you need help, sometimes the isles are full because they are restocking...which should be done during the night and not the busy day hours, there is NEVER enough checkout lanes open making each line really long. I really liked the way everything at this store was priced at 50 cents, but it was a little distracting how turds were flying everywhere. I tried to push my shopping cart but they kept attacking me and my pet Honda Civic out of no where so we eventually had to leave. Bad experience at the Walmart Auto Center. Had a tire develop a bulge while driving from California to Texas. Stopped into the Auto Center for to replace the two rear tires (drivers rear tire had a slight bulge). A mechanic that looked like Rob Zombie with bad braids told me he would have to replace ALL 4 tires. I told him the front two tires were only three months old. He said he would have to replace all four tires or nothing. I chose nothing, and drove to the Walmart at the other end of Abilene and replaced the two rear tires. read more

This review isn't just for this location but all of them......the worst part of all of them is that they NEVER have enough cashiers....NEVER! I just started using the grocery pick-up, and it is worth its weight in GOLD. Well, gold may be falling, so how about SALT? Anyway, I HATE GOING TO THIS STORE for a variety of reasons, the most aggravating being the unruly children whose parents lack parenting skills and allow them to run amok in the store. The grocery pick-up was so easy to do. I ordered mostly produce with some frozen. My produce was fresh when delivered. My frozen food was rock solid. I didn't have to worry that it sat in a store-room becoming science-experiments while the temperature wasn't maintained. The food was promptly delivered to my car and I had a very personable employee load it for me. Easy. Non-irritating way to shop. Love it. read more

The Walmart off of 1650-TX 351 is one I will never go to again. I don't enjoy being in a store in which I am targeted for what other reason than, because I am of Mexican ancestry. For example, being followed throughout the store as I shopped. I am a professional, and have more than enough money to pay for items. It made me very uncomfortable and also made me mad. Then, was overcharged at the self-serve, had to wait in line at customer service for the overcharge. I forgot about a stupid candle underneath oversized containers, while still in the store. I intended to buy the candle. But, security descended upon me at customer service as if I had already committed a crime. Screw that. I will never again waste a dime on Walmart. I will go to places that charge more, but treat me right as a customer. Ps., Walmart, I have done security detail before, and while you were busy harassing me, chances are someone slipped out the door with shoplifted items. Congratulations. read more

The auto center at this Wal-Mart is terrible. One of the automotive associates came up to me and net spoke, but was standing directly in front of me. I finally broke the silence by telling him that the girl at the counter sent me out here to request a tire to be put on the rim I had in my hands. He never looked up, and he said "phone number." I gave it to him. He said, "name." Again...I gave him the info. He punched around some more on his gadget, and then walked away. Ooookay. ‍ My husband told me he had called ahead to make sure they knew I was coming and what tire he needed. Apparently that did not help. I called my husband, and we were discussing what to do. The guy came back and handed me a Wal-Mart tag with a bar code. He overheard me speaking to my husband on the phone, and I was supposed to ask for road hazard on the new tire. The guy shook his head and said, "not available on carry outs." Then he walked away. I'm sorry, but if I'm spending over $200 on a tire, the least you can do is use more than 7 words to me. I do not recommend this place if you expect any kind of customer service. read more

I don't think I've ever been to a Walmart that wasn't busy. The Walmart on 351 isn't near as chaotic as the Walmart on Southwest Drive. But, this Walmart isn't without it's issues. The biggest problem here is the checkout personnel is normally understaffed. I generally beat that by checking out in electronics. That works unless you're buying everything in the store. read more

Was told by an employee it'd be a 15 to 30minute wait and I've been waiting now going on 45 minutes. I can't believe no one has reviewed this establishment yet. I mean - it's Wal Mart already! But then I suppose it is the old saying, "If you don't have something nice to say, don't say anything at all." that is keeping everyone away. Well, in keeping with that tradition, I will say that this Wal Mart facility is the most convenient one stop shop for me because I spend most of my time on the Judge Ely side of town and their prices are very reasonable. Ok - that was the nice thing....so now I should be good to give the review. This facility needs to put some serious ventilation on that Subway in the front of their store. The first thing you smell going in to the store on the food side is the nasty garlic, cheese explosion that is going on in the Subway ovens all day. The next thing they need to do is turn the lights on! I don't know how many times I have been shopping and the lights just go off...that dimmer thing they have is the most annoying thing ever. It makes me think I am going blind or fixing to pass out or something. I have actually had to take out a flashlight to read the labels a time or two. You don't do this to people that have had eye surgery! We have a hard enough time reading the fine print as it is. Third thing is that constant annoying beeping that goes on in that store. It is the sound the motorized chairs make when they are backing up...but there is not one of those chairs in the area of the beeping (I have tried to track this down but can't.) It is like they are doing it on purpose so they can play with my head or something. Lastly, all the little kids soliciting for money at the doors is just plain uncomfortable. Now, if they were asking for donations for something like March of Dimes or American Cancer Society, or the Girl Scouts that are actually selling something and not just asking for money, that is fine...but I don't think kids begging for money so they can play soft ball is a valid fundraiser. Their parents should foot the bill for that. All in all, a very stressful shopping environment. read more

DO NOT take your car here to get the oil changed. My oil pan was leaking and instead of replacing the parts that needed to be replaced, they did a botched job patching it up and DIDN'T EVEN TELL ME IT WAS LEAKING. Today I got my next oil change and found out that they (and I quote) "completely destroyed" my oil pan with their botched patch up, which is now costing me a lot of money. I will NEVER go to a Walmart auto again. read more

FYI Walmart is sexual harassment tolerant. I am not the only female that has had problems with this Walmart. Ive used the chain of command. They fired my witnesses, kept me working along side the guy that harassed me and other females, and gave him a coaching (a piece of paper that is signed saying you know what you did was wrong and that you won't do it again). Not to mention, he has also threatened me. I reported every incident as soon as it happened. Nothing changed. I had to pry any information off of the managers "working" on my case. More often than not, they had nothing to tell me. They would tell me that they would get this and that done by this time. I would never hear anything from them. Also, there was a manager that was buddies with the harasser. I was worried that he would hear about my situation and I mentioned to the managers that I was worried about it. Their exact words were, "he works on the other side of the store." I was so mad. Time went on and nothing has changed. I asked to have my schedule changed to be opposite his as much as possible. They did. But because of the hours, I still had to work with him plenty of times while there was no one else in the shop. I became nervous, angry, depressed, spookish. I was always looking over my shoulder, making sure I knew where he was at all times. My other co workers were aware of the situation and tried to help me as much as possible. But I made it hard for them to want to be around me because of my behavior. I have been working there for about 6 months. This incident happened about 2 months into me working there. I just found a new job that pays less than what I made at Walmart. I was forced to find a new job because of the environment they put me in. I am seeking counseling now. I have been slacking in important parts of my life, like military. I am always in a bad mood when I come home. Pushing my family and boyfriend away. I have talked to a Lawyer about my situation. The name for this is, Involuntary Termination. Because I am a 20 year old female with bills to pay, a broken down vehicle, and almost no money, I can't afford to do anything about this problem. Had an associatte or employee come over and chastize me on there policies. Clearly marked item was not on shelf but higher priced one. The lower priced items were located in back of store. One helpful and one employee was just outright insulting me and my friend for call ing out there bogus pricing. Management felt like they did nothing. Also went later to see that all the employees were not smiling or even looked to care about helping customers. Accused of trying to cheat company of $39.64 for cost of shirts returned to store for stains. I tried sending product back to HQ via UPS. Had signed shipment dated Jan 6. Wal-mart stated it was sending refund check for the $132 worth of merchandise but check never sent. Instead Wal-mart hacked email communication between myself and Franklin Mint. Wal-mart submitted the email now altered to appear to have been from Wal-mart to me to the Attorney General's office. Using the now altered email Wal-mart told the AG office that I had been paid $300 by them as settlement. Wal-mart has never sent any money to me and refuses to honor AG settlement agreement. read more

I don't mind going into Walmart once in awhile, but the last time I went in I had to send some money to my daughter it was the worst experience I had I stood in line for almost 45 minutes before it was my turn. Walmart needs to hire more people to work in the money area. Everytime that I have gone to the money area it was busy like that and there was only one employee back there working. Plus I have one more thing why is your company charging almost a dollar more for milk, when I can go to heb and get it cheaper, your suppose to have lower prices and there are a lot of products that are a lot higher. read more
