I have heard of multiple people being charged with shoplifting weeks after using a self check out. So until I get new employee orientation I'm not using it. I went to the automotive division at Walmart to get my battery changed. When I checked in, the lady was super friendly and asked about my car and what I needed done. I was told it would probably be an hour and that they had my battery in stock. My son and I shopped around for a while, checked out, and then went to the automotive area to wait. While waiting, Terry, the employee who was working on my car, tried to come through the door but it wouldn't open. He banged on it a few times and once it was opened, he angrily said, "I'm going to shoot that door." He then threw up his hands and stalked over to the counter to forcefully flip through a book. The older lady in the waiting room with us even said, "Wow, he is not very happy." Terry went back outside after looking at the book and later returned to ask, "Who owns the Jeep?" I told him that it was mine and he angrily demanded, "If you want a battery you need to remove your car seat because I am not doing that." I told him that it was not a problem and that the only thing I knew about cars was that they needed gas and keys so I apologized because I didn't know the battery would be under my back seat. I went to the back, took out my car seat, then continued to wait in the waiting room. Terry later came back in and told me that my battery "wouldn't fit" so he put in a smaller battery. I asked him if it would still work since it supposed to have a bigger battery (that was already installed previously and was needed to be changed out) and he told me "It has a four-year warranty and it fit so bring it back if anything happens." His attitude and demeanor were angry, dismissive, and sullen. I told him, "I am sorry you are having a bad day." Terry responded with, "I wasn't having a bad day until I started working on YOUR CAR." As noted by the capital letters, Terry began raising his voice at me and taking out his frustration at his obvious shortcomings at work on me simply because he was unable to complete an appropriate task for his position, such as changing a car battery. Once my car was finally finished, I went to put my car seat back inside and my after-market floor mat was thrown onto the other side of the seat, and nothing was put back into place inside my car. I have always gotten my work done at the Dodge Dealership prior to this and they've always put things back the way they found them, so I was appalled to see the state of disarray that my vehicle was left in. The older lady that was working in the front section of the auto department was very nice and helpful, but Terry made my experience awful and has successfully deterred me from ever giving Walmart my business again. At this point, I still don't know if I have the correct battery in my car or if it will continue working or leave me stranded somewhere. I tried calling the store the next day to speak to a manager and was left on hold or hung up on three different times before I was able to get ahold of someone who then encouraged me to write a review on my appalling experience. The lady whom I spoke with was very apologetic and told me to expect a call from the automotive department manager. I ordered grocery pick up like I usually do for pick up at 5 o clock! I pull in at 5 to receive a notification it's delayed! I called and they said they were backed up it would be a few minutes. Ok I waited 30 minutes called again they said they had people coming from 9 am orders. This is where it got me. Because they were 8 hours late picking there stuff up and I was on time I was told to wait? What is the point of setting a time for grocery pick up if you're able to show up when you want to? I had my disabled child in the car or else I would have just gone in to get my things. I will not be using Walmart pick up again. This place is a complete cluster flop. From from understaffed floor help that is at best, apathetic to the fact that products are misplaced and stock counts that at best are wild guesses. I've been standing here waiting for almost a half hour waiting on a person to return from the back. I've been in line with Wayne for an hour now and there was only two people in front of us with not that much stuff. i understand he's been here for 25 years but he messed up our transaction and had to rescan everything again after waiting for 45 minutes which added another 20 minutes. Not sure what is going on with this location. Seems like for the past year or so, they have gone downhill. The isles are always cluttered; employees are constantly stocking the shelves, but yet the shelves are empty. Huge holes where (of course) the items I came for should be. I don't know how many times I have had to settle on a different item or just not get it there. They had to put plants on sale in the garden area because they were all dying from lack of water. I have heard multiple times from employees talking together as I walked by about how far behind they are stocking the shelves. Also, customers asking for product and being told "we have been out of that for weeks". I was shocked to see that the rating for this location was higher than the 351 location too. I don't know...maybe they need to hire more people or get a different manager. read more

I am older and have been left in parking lot twice lifting two buggies with large, heavy items and employees just look at me and once refused to help. I ordered groceries at 9:30am to pick up at 4:00pm. they emailed me at 3:58pm and said it was ready for pick up. i got there and made the call that i was there at 4:06pm. i sat there, waiting for the groceries for an hour. i called twice while waiting, they said the groceries would be right out. i didn't get the groceries until 5:20pm. i understand that it gets a little busy at that time, because everyone is getting groceries after picking up their kids. but the fact that other cars got there after I did and left before i did, felt a little ridiculous. i've never had any problems with the pickup option before, besides a 45 minute wait last time. read more

My latest visit was to the Vision Center. Optician was very helpful and explained all charges to make sure they would fit my budget. Also explained part of my prescription and called my doctor to make an adjustment which would be better. Doctor agreed with his recommendation so now I have optimum prescription. Cannot say enough good things about their service and prices. read more

Never anyone to help customers, they rely hugely on local police for security unlike other retailers, and put a huge financial burden on these departments, and the vast majority of employees are on government assistance. The profits are in the billions every year, and they could easily afford to pay reasonable wages, provide full time jobs, and offer health insurance. The prices are low, but often, so is the quality. Though Walmart is a huge chain which oftentimes disappoints the average shopper, i feel the urge to give credit to their Vision Center. Though tricare members aren't offered any sort of discounts for the purchase of glasses/contact lenses. Their buy 1, get 1 50% off is a great deal. Also, i would strongly recommend taking advantage of their policy of replacement of scratched/broken glasses for school/age students. They have replaced my daughter's glasses promptly and always with a smile on their faces. I have chosen their 79$ lenses option (antiscratch and progressive, which made my daughter's glasses double as some pretty awesome sunglasses). They range from fairly inexpensive frames to the pricey and fashionable ones. The glasses were ready in less than 10 days and they called for pick-up. No 5 star because they don't offer discounts - advantages to tricare (aka military health care) members. But, their prices aee competitive anyways. read more

I went in for one item, Midol. Generally it would be in pain medicine section. There were several items sold out in this section, but still no place for midol. After asking where I could find it, the pharmacy sent me to first aid section. Yet again, I found several open spaces of sold out product. And no space for midol. I went shopping here with my 2 daughters. We bought them some cute summer outfits and some groceries. We went to self checkout and rung up all of our items then loaded up our car and headed home. When i unloaded everything as soon as i got home i noticed i was missing the bags with my girls clothes in it. I immediately called the store hoping maybe it was still there but knowing there's a chance it wouldnt be since i did use self check out. She went to check and found the bags and told me that she would put it behind the customer service desk with my name on it. I told her i would be in the following day to pick it up. Well life happened and some inconveniences happened and i wasnt able to make it back till today. I went to customer service and explained the situation and they said they have no idea what i'm talking about and that they didn't have my stuff. The customer service and this store suck!!! I work nights. I get off at 6am and went to purchase 3 T-shirts. I realized I had 3 shirts with pockets and needed ones without. I decided to go ahead and exchange since I caught this mistake inside store still. Cashier said they don't do returns until 7am. It is 6:35am. I live out of town. I just kept the shirts. Sucks that I know have to wake myself during day just to make an exchange in town. So after this I will no longer be going to this store. I will drive to Northside Walmart. read more

I shopped there every day - the strawberries were ALWAYS $1 until they went up to $1.49 with a "was" price of $1.78 - total lie!!!!!! Shop too early - everything is out of stock. shop late the stockers act like you are inconveniencing them and they put up walls you have to navigate around just to shop to pay their salaries!!! I frequently pass them horsing around, flirting, goofing off, even tossing groceries at each other! I used to shop there every day for my cafe but have gravitated towards United now. The professionalism and the respect United shows their customers is worth the extra price. Zero stars if I could. I walk in with my brother that is barely 18 that was getting cigarettes im 24. They ask for both ID's when I have my own seperate stuff that I am getting. Also I have a big wad of snuff in my mouth already. I didn't have my id on me which was in the car and I wasn't going to walk all the way out to get it. I can understand if I am not getting anything and I am with the person.
