I had an extremely disappointing and unacceptable experience with (the manager) Ethan at Target. He sold me a car seat that turned out to be SALVAGE -- completely unsafe for use, especially for a baby. This is not just careless, it's dangerous. Car seats are a serious matter, and selling one that is damaged or previously involved in an accident is putting lives at risk. Ethan either didn't check the product properly or worse, knew and still went through with the sale. Either way, it shows a shocking lack of responsibility and professionalism. I expected better from Target and its employees. This needs to be addressed immediately before someone gets seriously hurt. If you're shopping for baby products, especially something as critical as a car seat, I suggest you go elsewhere -- or at the very least, do NOT deal with Ethan. read more

Staff everywhere not helping in anywhere other then to ask dumb questions while you are trying to shop. Get to check out and no staff to be find. I am suspecting the Starbucks clerk that was working the shift when I came, at 1:00 pm to get my tea, was new. Plus, she clearly wasn't paying attention when I was ordering - I had to repeat the kind of hot tea I wanted, she said it back to me wrong, from the start. And it ended up being wrong one when it was made. I asked it to be re-done (it's really hard to fumble the tea kind - you just have to pay attention, and then you make it, right ?) It ended up to be WRONG, the second time, too. I didn't want to have her re-do it again, but ...Like, guys, I have been coming to your store since *forever* and I only buy ONE and specific tea kind. It is "emperor's cloud and myst". Can someone talk to that clerk about it please? She doesn't have to remember it, just have her pay more attention at the time of order? THANK YOU. read more

Stopped at this Target because that's what you do when you spot a Target. I was staying at a nearby hotel and needed a pair of sandals for a pedicure. It was nice, clean and well organized, as many Targets are. My only gripe like another reviewer mentioned is it's not a Super Target. I guess I've gotten spoiled with the one-stop shop. I was looking forward to grabbing more food items to take back to my room, but the pickings were slim. Hopefully they remodel to improve that because there's too many surrounding hotels for it not to serve the community a bit better and make more as a business. Docked 1 star for that. I used self-checkout and ended up needing assistance scanning a clearance item with a funky barcode. The staff member was kind and helpful. read more

Target is my favourite Place to shop in Abilene by far! It has everything! Oh wait... No it doesn't, we need a super target! It Would be awesome to be able to pick up groceries when I go in for my weekly target fix. This target is usually really clean and organised but I wish there was a bigger selection. I have started using the online Target store, but I must say that shopping at Target is a pleasure. The store is always clean. The employees are sometimes knowledgeable. The prices seem fair, BUT...if you know exactly what you want, the online store is the way to go! I recently made purchases using a gift-card from my daughter-in-law. Shopping was easy, checkout was easy, using my gift card was easy and the best part is that my package came in BEFORE it was supposed to. Yay!!! It's your typical neighborhood target. Plenty of staff, quick checkout, and helpful attitudes. The store is also very organized and clean, even on the clearance racks. If you cannot find something in store, they will order it for you in no time. The starbucks inside is also great. read more

Target rocks! I am reviewing this particular target for food. I love the fresh popped popcorn at Target, and at little over a buck$ for a small pop corn and a drink, it's a bargain. Can anybody say anything bad about Target? It's clean, the people are friendly, their clothing and shoes are wonderful and the prices cannot be beat. Great book selection, awesome generic prices on some items, and I can even pick up random snacks and milk. read more

This Target is small, dingy, dark, and smells of stale popcorn. Merchandise is limited due to the small size. It is absurd that a person practically runs into carts walking in and is unable to navigate this store because it is too small! We recently moved from an area smaller than Abilene with a Super Target and this Target is a complete disappointment in comparison. read more

They never seem to have what I came for and are nothing like the bigger Targets in other cities, this one is old, run down and outdated.

I called to speak with someone in the kids department to ask if they had something in stock, but was met with a very irritated operator and then left on hold for 5 minutes, so I hung up. I then called Walmart, and they asked me exactly what I was looking for and found it for me in less time than I was on hold with Target! Customer Service is KEY! read more

Went back here again today. My last review I gave them 3 stars, but today is a flat out zero. (or 1 because I can't give zeros). Today I took my son in because it is his 5th birthday and this was one of the places he wanted to go to pick him out a toy....mainly because we never take him here. So we go in to look at the toys and the entire toy area is in a shambles. There is not ONE isle free of clutter and stacks of boxes. It looks like they were packing everything away - most of the hanging items were gone and the walls were bare. My son found a play doh set that said it was 19.99 so we got that and headed up to the front to check out. I was ready to leave by this time because it was also uncomfortably warm in there. Wiping sweat as the man is ringing us up, and his play doh set wasn't 19.99 but rather a whopping 40.00!!!!!!!!! For play doh???? Was it made out of panda????? Needless to say, I got it for him because it was the birthday present he picked out and we left. Great job, Target. read more

Yesterday (Sunday 12/30) I had appeared at checkout with $53.43 in purchases. Aware of Target credit card problems, wrote a check for purchase which was refussed for unknown reasons. When attempting to find out problem from store manager was told to talk to my bank in a rude, ugly and uncaring manner. Of course, this was embarrashing in front of the crowd around the check out. This morning I called my bank to find out if there was a problem. My bank advised there certainly should not have been a problem and that said check had not been presented for payment. Since the register reads the check and everything is supposeively all automatic, then what is Target's problem. I will not ever do business with them again. Apparently Target is a very poor run business and rude to customers to add to it. read more
