I feel like I said a fancy shop in Highland Park in Dallas. She was the best and I will always go back to her whenever I need any assistance read more

Dillard's - Cindy - Department Stores Near Me - Abilene, Texas

Went there today with my wife to buy luggage for our Daughter. It is in the Men's store/Dillard's second location. Straight in, they have free WiFi. Straight to the luggage section, and noticed they had a very large selection. Most are on Sale! We found just what we wanted. Cleanliness was 5/5. Service was 4/5, and here is why. We walked around the store pulling luggage looking for anybody to check us out. Made it almost to pots and pans before finding someone to ask to check out. Walked backed to luggage and waited, for a nice gentlemen to check us out. How far would we have to traverse the store to find a checkout? I think they may have dropped manning too low. That costs a star. read more

Dillard's - I was having trouble trying to find some fashionable shirts. Christina was very helpful and extremely polite and found a few items for me. - Department Stores Near Me - Abilene, Texas

My son recently got married in California. For this very special occasion I went to Dillard to buy a new suit. The sales person seems to be very helpful recommended a light gray striped suit not cheap $900. I asked about the color, He told me the light color is the in thing even for the father of the groom. I bought it and then in case I brought my old dark blue suit with me. It turned out the salesman was completely wrong. I didn't get a chance to wear the new light gray suit, I gave it to my son as a gift. That's not the problem. the week after I bought it Dillard suits went on sale down 40 percent, and when I went back to ask if i was entitled for some refund, I was told they don't do the price matching thing, even some one might have bought it the day before a sale. That was not fare and I surely will remember that! Bye bye Dillard. You suck! read more

First of all, I usually only buy things at Dillard's that are on sale because the regular priced things are, as a rule, overpriced. I absolutely love the extra % off sale items sales. Two stars are taken away...one because customer service sucks & the other because the women's store is old and nasty and needs a complete overhaul. I believe they've had the same flooring since the store opened in the 70's. Both stores are too cram packed with merchandise to shop comfortably. Come on Dillard's. Even Penney's has a nicer store. read more

Came in today looking for a pair of flats. I picked up 4 pair of different ones and handed them off to the woman who asked if she could help me. She came back with one, saying it was the only one she had in a 5.5.. I asked if she had 6s... she said she didn't know. I took two of them back from her to check the sizes, 6.. tried them both but they were too big. I settled on a 5th and asked her to bring me both 5.5 and 6.. she came back and told me she didn't have either of those and then stared at me. Usually the women are so knowledgeable in the shoes department, I've NEVER left there empty handed until today. She didn't even offer to look up to have the correct sizes shipped to me. Obviously she didn't want to make a sale. I ordered two in the sizes I now know will fit online tonight. Oh well! read more

Worst place to work. Awful environment for workers. The management staff are unreasonable and hateful. The clothing is way to expensive for material that will disintegrate if you wash it, or even take it to the dry cleaners. Ridiculous place to shop and work. read more

Sunday in Abilene Texas, Like most of you I have a regular routine that you go thru. Mine is sleep in for as long as I can. When I get motivated usually a call from a buddy wanting to know if want to go eat. We like to go to Golden Corral for the breakfast buffet. After that it changes quite a lot, if there's some promising open houses in town I try to attend. Like to be seen and catch up with other Realtors in town (I'm with a small Real Estate Co.) While everyone knows the firm not EVERYONE knows me yet. Its not football season yet so that's out. Who really watches hockey?? Well today The crew dwindled down to two of us, so finding something became easy. Headed off to The Mall of Abilene to catch a movie Date Night. Yea it's kind of a chick flick but what the heck it got to have a few laughs. Good movie and lots of shots of NYC, I like that .. Afterwards just walk around the mall to look at the new shops and people. What's with the Goth Kids? We're in Abilene Tx. Not a lot of things to be dark about here... IDK just saying. I end up in Dillards looking at suits and ties. I need an overhaul I'm sure, mostly just looking but picked up a new hat, not a Kango but it'll do for now. read more

Dillards is the best store in Abilene. They have an excellent selection of shoes and clothes. I buy 90% of my shoes at Dillards. The sales associates in the shoe department are excellent. I love Dillards. read more

Recently, after being gone for many, many years, I retired and moved back to West Texas. I like Abilene and one of the reasons for choosing Abilene is that it has a decent large Mall for a city it's size and it has Dillard's. However, other than one experience at the Dillard's store at Mall of Abilene that was efficient and very pleasant, the service is just about the worse I've ever seen in any clothing store much less one of Dillard's quality. Trying to find someone to assist with making purchase decisions is almost impossible and then when you do they have proved to be uninformed, curt or just plain rude. Checking out can also be difficult--just finding someone to check a shopper out can mean a hike all over the store carrying merchandise. I suspect it is just being understaffed, but . . . Not being employed any longer, I don't shop as much as I once did, but I do shop quality when I do. However, I don't like buying most clothing on-line so I guess I will just have to wait to shop for clothes on my next trip to Dallas or when I visit friends up North or out West where I can head for the nearest Macy's. read more

I thought Dillard's had gotten over the attitude that they were better than everyone else until today, I tried to take back some boots today would not take them because I wore them one time and the shoe department manager looks me up and down like he is better than me not going back!! read more

I love the mall and love this store, but i have to give them 2 stars because their customer service is seriously lacking. I've been in this store several times over the last couple of months to update the clothes in my closet and not one time has anyone ever said hello to me or asked if they could help me with anything. I even make eye contact with some of the ladies in the clothing department and smile at them and I get absolutely nothing in return! It makes me furious to hear them saying hello to other customers and not to me! I can only think it's because i'm dressed down, meaning I have on a t-shirt, jeans, sneakers and no make-up on so I look like a frumpy house wife and these other customers are very nicely dressed women. New flash Dillard's employees...just because I'm dressed down doesn't mean I don't have a job or any money to spend. I have a professional job and make way more money than you'll ever make working at Dillard's or any other store in the mall and I do not like being treated the way I'm treated when I visit your store! Just because I don't like to shop in my nice clothes and my heals, doesn't mean I should be treated any less than any other customer. I will gladly spend my money at boutiques in the mall such as Corthaus, Boom, or boutiques downtown instead since they give lots of friendly smiles and service in those stores, even when I'm dressed down. The management at Dillard's really needs to conduct some customer service training. I've heard this same complaint from other people too. read more
