Tractor Supply carries a huge variety of different products. I have always got my work boots here, but that's about all I need from them. Until recently. If you buy birdseed, you know how high it can be. Tractor Supply has about the lowest prices me and my neighbor Susan have found. They fill propane tanks. When the North location claimed their tank was empty. They did not recommend the south Abilene location. My wife called the south location and they said they had plenty of propane. Thank the lord cause we were completely out as of 2100 hours on Saturday. The employee filled all 3 tanks and had done 3 in front of me. And 2 more customers after me. Which kept him in 19 degree weather. For at least an hour. Which he was not completely dressed for. Want to walk around in the equine section and see mostly chicken food? Wait 10 minutes while one cashier handles a line 8 people deep with no signs of help? Want to be disappointed half the time you shop there for out of stock product, and be ignored when you say you regularly buy it? Looking for dog bones in the mens' outerwear section? Then this is the store for you. Seriously disappointing since the new manager took over a few months back. Head up to the north store.. much less frustrating experience. Not to mention FIVE handicapped parking spots, 3 cu beside pickup, and 3 'Veterans parking only' spots. So you're stuck with a run away cart going downhill across the parking lot with 200lbs worth of grain, to load on your own. No thanks. I'll go out of my way to avoid this store from now on. read more

We own a small ranch, outside of town. TSC is our go to place for supplies, fixes, and parts. They have recently added Purina Horse feed, and since they are open Sunday afternoons, they have become our, "rats we need more horse feed, I'll run to TSC,no problem." Needed a replacement gate for one damaged by the tractor, got it, they loaded it,brought it home and had it installed in 30 minutes. From Parts, to fencing/gates and panels, to clothing toys and tires. Basically, everything. In case they don't have it, look online or in the catalog, they can order it. My kind of place! read more

I went to TSC in Abilene, TX after seeing an ad in the newspaper that dog beds were on sale. When I got to the store Ashlyn waited on me. She worked for approx 15 minutes looking in store and on computer to find these beds as they we're not on the floor. She kept looking until she found them in the back storeroom. She had to climb over other boxes against the wall to get me two beds. She had said she would look until she found them and that is exactly what she did! Great customer service Ashlyn! read more

One of my favorite stores. They have everything you need for horses(accept saddles) and lots of dog food, toys, etc. Tsc is one of the only places in Abilene to sell many different Breyer Horses, and during Spring they even sell rabbits and chicks! read more
