Today I get there & she says they won't fill the prescription, they'll only do 1/2 for the agreed price & the balance of the other half of the pills would be retail -- OVER $1000!!! This was supposed to be $26/180 tabs not $1014/180 tabs. There was so many excuses & both the clerk and the "supposed" pharmacist (more likely a pharm tech) were rather belligerent. He seemed completely uninterested in helping customers, was extremely slow at the lottery machine, and gave off a very unwelcoming attitude. I honestly don't understand why Walmart would move employees who provide excellent customer service out of this department and then put someone in a customer-facing position who appears to have no interest in interacting with customers. If someone doesn't enjoy working with the public, perhaps a position that doesn't involve constant customer interaction would be a better fit. Management really needs to pay attention to what is happening at this location. Customer service makes a huge difference, especially when there are other options nearby. At this point, I would honestly recommend taking your business to Publix. Their stores are generally much more pleasant, and their employees consistently make customers feel welcomed and appreciated.
