So sweet and so nurturing to new mamas and second time mamas. Very patient with mamas in pain and mamas who have a hard time breastfeeding. My baby boy was delivered here safe and sound! Recovery would have sucked if I was in Miami. I was so scared of doing cesarean again... although there will always be pain in recovery, it was so comforting to have someone there to literally hold your hand as you walk it off. They messed up my father's medicine for 36 hours. He got an infection from his catheter removal (which is common) however the staff didn't catch it (I DID - when he started hallucinating. Doctor's don't order necessary testing, etc. I've had Doctor's lie to my face about things they told me the prior day. This hospital is dangerous. I'd be interested to see how many lawsuits they have pending. Do not trust them with your body or your life. Any person in that hospital needs a friend/family member advocate with the at all times to prevent medical negligence. Go to Tradition instead.

After being diagnosed with cancer, I needed immediate surgery - we're talking hours. A tumor had to be removed and a resection of my intestine needed to be executed (bad choice of words). Surgeons aren't known for their bedside manner. But I couldn't care less about that, what I wanted was the best. In walks the REAL Dr. K - smiling and talking to me as an old friend. I thought "No way can he be a good surgeon, he's too nice." Well I was right. He wasn't a good surgeon - he is a GREAT surgeon. He saved my life! This is not an exaggeration on any level. I am three years out from surgery and chemo - my scar is barely visible, and it's about 10" long. The professionalism of Dr. K is beyond anything I ever imagined - as a law enforcement officer, I came across some real "beauts". But Dr. K exemplifies what a person "wants" out of a surgeon. My life in the hands of a great surgeon that actually cares. My words do an injustice to Dr. K since I think he's more priceless than I have described. All I have to say is that "He's THE man" and there is no other surgeon I would choose outside Dr. K!

Both times that I've gone, I've been able to get in and see the doctor in under 20 minutes. They don't accept my insurance, and uninsured, an office visit costs around $100, which I think is very reasonable given that you'll see someone right away. (Of course it's much less expensive to go to someone in my network, but my regular doctor usually can't see me within a month of calling to schedule an appointment.) I'd recommend writing down anything that you want to ask the doctor before you go in because the visits are very quick and you're likely to forget something. However, if you just need to get in to see a doc or get a prescription, it's a safe bet that you will find this office pleasant and accommodating.
