I had two very positive experiences with Rachael Tougher and the staff. Get there early or make an appointment.

Review Title: Poor Customer Service in Surgery Waiting Area - Needs Better Family Support…read moreBody: On March 25, 2026, I was in the second-floor surgery waiting room at Cleveland Clinic Tradition Hospital in Port St. Lucie while my 82-year-old father underwent surgery. I asked the front-desk staff if they could start the coffee--they said no, the volunteer handles it in an hour. I offered to do it myself if someone had a key; they said there wasn't one at the desk. I requested a phone number to call--I didn't want to leave Dad alone before he went back. Two weeks prior, a friend had neck surgery here with another doctor. Two weeks later, he died from sepsis. That's why I insisted on seeing Dad: just three seconds to kiss his forehead and say goodbye. We had already prayed together. Staff said I might not get the chance--I had to demand it. This was unacceptable customer service. Hospitals should support families, not just patients. If AdventHealth Orlando were closer, I'd choose them without hesitation. As a CCRN, I hope the staff and leadership receive proper training on empathy, communication, and basic hospitality. The volunteer eventually arrived. I asked for coffee; she said she was "way too busy." I offered to help--just give me the key, I'd even add the sugar. They prohibit caffeine in coffee and the cafeteria but allow unlimited sugar, meat, and pork... it doesn't seem religious--just inconsistent. Overall: Great surgery outcome, but the waiting experience was frustrating and cold. Families deserve better. Cleveland Clinic tradition hospital St Lucie. The Nurses act like it's an inconvenience but rest assured if it was a family member or executive or their family member the service would be different and IT SHOULD NOT BE.

She refused to give me the information for the legal department and told me to call the main number and was very argumentative with me. I was seeking verification that the nurse was following the poa instruction that I was not allowed to visit my mother or talk to her via phone they tried to act like I was trying to obtain information and was seeking written consent. They like to dance around the issue and not deal with any problems. The entire experience with this hospital has been very poor and I would not refer anyone. To obtain healthcare from this facility.

Was at this ER twice this weekend for vomiting and dehydration…read more Want to shout out my amazing care team from early Friday morning (3am) and today - specifically Andre, Sydney. Dr. Lyn. The hospital is right across the street from me, conveniently located. Parking is easy to find. Rooms and facilities are clean. I felt cared for and "listened to". We used my left arm for an IV drip on Friday morning, so I suggested maybe the right arm if it would be easier to do today. We got it in, but it was a little uncomfortable. Stingy before we even hooked it up to anything. I rang my nurse and she took it out and hooked up my left arm, no issues. I hope not to be back, but thank you very much.

My barely 25‑year‑old daughter, Taylor, died after what multiple independent physicians and an…read moreautopsy have confirmed was reckless medical negligence and neglect in an HCA Florida hospital where she was taken after being rear‑ended at a red light. Her internal bleeding went undiagnosed for about eight hours despite glaring signs. Once imaging was finally ordered and active internal bleeding was confirmed, surgery was delayed for roughly seven more hours. In the meantime, the doctor ordered mass blood transfusion in an improper way that worsened her condition instead of stabilizing her, while failing to move the central line that was improperly placed and that the radiologist recommended be repositioned. HCA Healthcare has faced no consequences, and there is no way for people researching physicians through the Florida Department of Health (DOH), the medical licensing board, to see what happened to my daughter. Because she was 25, unmarried, and had no children, Florida's 'Free Kill' law strategically blocked me from pursuing legal recourse to ensure the hospital and its physicians are held accountable so the harm does not continue. If you or your loved ones rely on HCA Healthcare in Florida, please take time to learn how this system really works and how families can protect themselves. After losing 22 lb. and not improving my cholesterol enough, his recommendation was "diet and exercise", so I stopped going to his practice. I went back recently and told him that I was taking over the counter capsules for cholesterol, and he told me that those don't work and that I should be taking statins. I told him that I needed a prescription for statins, not for OTC. During the visit this doctor recommended another visit (in just 2 months) for a series of tests called "Welcome to Medicare". The icing on the cake is that I was billed twice; as a "new patient" for the first visit, and today I received a statement for my "Welcome to Medicare" visit that I didn't need. My cholesterol was high again in the lab results after the visits and I had to call his office twice to ask for a prescription. He did not prescribed me the statins without pressure.

I've never met him, never spoken to him. He's probably a good Doctor. I wouldnt know because I called to book an appointment for my 88 year old Mom who just 'survived' 5 weeks of Radiation at Moffit in Tampa. Within 2.6 seconds of answering my call a member of the crack staff of medical extortionistststs (aka: office staff) asked for her insurance coverage. Inquiring further to see if we have supplemental coverage, even before asking my Mothers name, healthcare status, or choice in music. That said, I've generated this lane post while being on hold. 31:26 so far.
