The care I received was good. What I have an issue with is the billing. I have a copay through my MEDICARE insurance. That's COPAY mot coinsurance! I paid the copay which should have been the end of the matter. I've gotten emails stating they don't send bills but do electronic billing. That doesn't work for me due to all the scams out there. Plus I DON'T OWE THEM MONEY! THEY ARE IN NETWORK! Everyone should refuse to answer their electronic bills by email & text! This is how scammers get you to click a link and they steal your money! NO THANK YOU! And no one will call me back from billing to confirm they aren't contacting me! I'm very frustrated & ready to find another urgent care. read more

They were fine. Tough check-in! Took 10 minutes for the lady in front of me to answer some basic questions...once past her process was ok. Saw someone quickly, was professional and I am sure on target. All in all what more can you ask? I had to edit this from 5 stars to 2. Why? They called in a prescription for me but CVS did not receive it. I made multiple calls to the pharmacy and to SUC. SUC said they would resend. Later in the day, CVS calls me to tell me they figured it out and the prescription SUC was calling in was for an over the counter drug. I wasted a day chasing this down when all the nurse practitioner had to do was tell me it was over the counter. The issue that led me there was minor and I should have figured it out on my own and just gone to CVS and dealt with it. I doubt any of these Urgent Care places are any better. Sometimes you just have to suck it up and go to them. read more

When dr amanda walrath came with my paperwork I asked her few questions about my health . She got very angry. NEVER GO TO THIS PLACE EVER. If you have a problem that's anything but the common sicknesses, don't come here. Not only is there no sense of urgency with anyone here, but they are the most unhelpful medical practice I have been to. The one doctor they seem to have is never in office. I came in and was told to expect a call the following Monday. Needless to say I didn't get that call and the staff are not able to read a schedule because I would eventually find out she isn't even back until the next Saturday. If you get any type of tests done, which they order, they have no one there to tell you about those results so you may as well start somewhere else. My husband received good care there after an ER visit and he spiked a temperature. I had to watch him closely thereafter and tried to use FMLA. Initially the NP said she would sign with no problem, I brought my paperwork in, paid a filing fee. A week later, FMLA says they received nothing. I called Stuart urgent care and they told me they would fax it in. The next day I received a call stating they refused to fill out the paperwork. Did not offer me a refund or to return the paperwork. I had to go back to the clinic to ask for my refund and spent the next 30 minutes waiting for them to have an MD retrieve it for me. read more

I was recently seen at this urgent care and had a great experience. I was checked in very quickly by a friendly receptionist team. I was seen by a female doctor, who was professional, thorough, and cheerful. I ended up getting an X-ray, which they had on site, and I was surprised how quick the process was. The X-ray tech knew what she was doing, and the results were quickly interpreted. I will be recommending this urgent care to all my neighbors! Recently visited the Stuart Urgent Care in Jensen Beach FL because I had some flu symptoms. I typically just go to the ER but this time i made a choice to go to the urgent care as it was right down the street and I felt terrible. First impression of the office was it was very tidy and well maintained. I was taken to a room after about 5 mins of waiting. One of the nurses took all my information including bloodpressure and pulse. I think from walking in and being seen by the doctor it was only about 15 mins. They were semi busy so i was shocked at how quick and efficient they worked. I saw a doctor named Cally. She was very professional and thorough with her exam. I left with some meds and paperwork on what to expect over the next few days. It was a very pleasent experience all around. I will definitly be back next time i have a medical issue. read more

There were 3 other people here when we arrived: one got fed up and left, one is still in front of us and we are still waiting! 5 more people arrived behind us. They have not called anyone back to be seen for well over an hour and no one has come out. This is crazy! They gladly took my $120 when I first arrived. I was seen Yesterday by them for being bit by a dog. I talked to the provider yesterday afternoon who told me to call them if I was still in pain so they could give me recommendations for pain meds. I called this morning and they told me I had to pay another visit of 130 to be seen for a telemed visit. I explained to the girl that the provider told me yesterday I just needed to call back. She refused. Once she charged my card she told me a nurse would get on the phone with me for an ibuprofen dosage recommendation. This is ridiculous. I should not be charged an additional visit fee for a follow up question about an ibuprofen dosage when I am still in pain. Could they not tell me this without charging me $130? I asked to leave a message for a nurse. She told me I would have to pay a charge to leave a message. Do not recommend. read more

Went in on Saturday because I got a UTI. Told me culture would get sent out. Called on Monday, no results. Called on Tuesday, couldn't get through to anyone. Left message on voicemail. Called again Tuesday front desk person said they're busy and will call end of day. NEVER DID. Wednesday morning finally get someone who tells me they can't even find my lab results or what happened to the specimen. Meantime two antibiotics later, still symptoms and no culture results. Extremely poor service. Will never go there again. read more

went to Stuart Urgent Care last week for a TDAP booster after puncturing my hand in the yard. When I arrived I was surprised that the girls at the front desk weren't wearing masks. I also didn't see anyone sanitizing anything such as clipboards or shared pens. Patients are also not asked to wear masks which is surprising b/c before the pandemic Stuart Urgent Care always had masks out front for patients to put on when they come in. Regardless I stayed b/c at this point they already had my Drivers License & Insurance cards. I did note that the physician's assistant who was taking patients back was wearing a mask & gloves and she was very professional. However when Dr Peddicord came into my exam room I was shocked to see his mask dangling from one ear. I told him I don't understand why everyone in an Urgent Care facility, that tests for Covid-19 no less, is not wearing a mask. He said, "oh that's why I'm staying away from you". Which is ridiculous those exam rooms aren't even 6' across PLUS he of course came over to look at my hand. I again told him that I was very uncomfortable that he was not WEARING his mask. So he rolls his eyes and puts it on. And says sarcastically, "OK now I'm wearing my mask". It was very uncomfortable. Stuart Urgent Care's own website states under the Covid-19 tab that they follow all CDC's guidelines & will be choosing to wear masks. And Peddicord is a Doctor for crying out loud. Disgusting. This was my 3rd time to Stuart Urgent Care. Both of my 2 previous visits were before the pandemic & for my son. Neither visit previous to this was with Peddicord. He is extremely unprofessional. I will not be back to Stuart Urgent Care after this experience. If I can wear MY mask then I fail to see why a medical doctor can't wear his. read more

After being seen by his physician for a month and not getting any better we went to Stuart Urgent Care. The front desk women was very attentive and sympathetic to his coughing. We were brought back almost immediately. The nurse was curt, and the PA Natalia was awesome. She took my husbands uncontrollable cough seriously, due to the longevity and him being diabetic. Making sure to treat his cough at the source and not just give something that just treats the symptoms. Its hasn't been 24hours and he is like a new man. read more

Took a 94 yo friend, chest pain, SOB, nausea, arm pain. Triaged within 5 minutes, work up, EKG. EMS called. Efficient staff, quick, responsive, inclusive to 2 of us who are not related. HIPAA requirements. Definite asset to the area. 1st urgi care, 1 hr wait plus 5 ahead of us. We made a good decision. read more

I'm new to the area and do not have a primary care physician yet, so I went here with severe pain in my rib cage. The P.A. who examined me for less than 30 seconds said it was probably my gallbladder and sent me for an ultrasound. Didn't even listen to the fact that it was my ribs and that I had had a cough in the weeks prior. I had to call for my ultrasound results 2 days later and the receptionist said I wasn't in their system and I had called the wrong place. I double-checked my paperwork and it was definitely the right place. Turns out they had my DOB wrong in their system. I said I was still in pain and wanted to speak with the doctor and see if he had any other suggestions. He said I could come back in, for another full price appointment. I said no one even properly examined me or listened to my medical history, so what's the point of going back? This was a great waste of time and money! They want their $125 and don't even do a thorough physical exam. Perhaps listening to what the patient is saying would help!!! read more

The girls at the counter are very un compassionate , went in with flu like symptoms and a nurse took my vitals, I had all the symptoms of a flu so he went to get a flu test .... did not have one! So another nurse came in and spoke to me and said yup your sick . So he sent me home with antibiotics (which does nothing for the flu) no real doctors and they try to hurry you out of the office without properly diagnosing you! My last time there! read more

Called ahead to see if they were busy. Couple of people ahead of me. Got here only 3 people in waiting room. Took information and waited about 15 mins. Called back to room and I am still sitting here an hour later. Asked desk person, once I got her attention (eating) if they forgot me. Finally got up o check and told me there were still several ahead of me. A lot of chatter outside the room including a chic filet order. I can see why they have terrible reviews. Extremely disorganized and a total waste of time. Could have gone to a hospital emergency room and had better service than this! read more

They must have new management or something because I cannot believe any negative reviews? I went there twice now and both times where not only fantastic, but the female doctor there was exceptional. She took all the time I needed to explain things and was very professional and happy. The staff couldn't have treated me better and all my tests where performed right that. Both visits I was in and out withing 40 minutes total and had scripts ready to be picked up within the hour. I am so happy to have a urgent care that actually has super fast customer service and I will tell everyone about it who wants less cost and faster service than an a regular ER hospital based. read more

INFECTION CONTROL!!! During the visit, I saw an MA, a CNA, and a PA. NO ONE WASHED THEIR HANDS. Apparently infection control is not a strong suit... Quick and friendly service, but was told that they took my insurance upon check-in. I paid $100 because I had not met my deductible for the year. I went back a week later bc meds were finished and symptoms still were in full bloom. At this visit, I was told they do not take my insurance and never have. Came to find out they charged me a self-pay the previous visit and nothing was going towards my out-of-pocket. Two strikes and you're out in my book. read more

I guess one scathing review wasn't enough for them. the ineptness, incompetence and poor customer service keeps on giving. I was forced to return to this office today to pick up x-rays taken on 12/26 to deliver to my REAL doctor. I called in advance to ask if they could be ready when i got there, and the fellow there told me just come in and he would prepare them when i arrived. so, what do you think the first question i was asked when i arrived? "Did you call ahead to have them ready for you." that's right. i explained my previous phone call, and was told to have a seat. BTW, this was the same woman who called and scolded me for leaving the office without getting the results of those x-rays - AFTER I WAS TOLD BY THE TECHNICIAN TO LEAVE AND WAIT FOR A CALL ABOUT THEM. Anyway, after waiting for nearly a half hour, i was called up to the window by the same women. she said she was sorry, but she "forgot" to tell me that there was no one there who could get me the x-rays. it was about 3 p.m. after i raised a little stink, she told me to hold on and she would have them for me in 5-10 minutes. i got the x-rays and left. I WILL NEVER RETURN TO THIS OFFICE AND I STRONGLY RECOMMEND THAT EVERYONE ELSE AVOID THEM. read more

Stuart Urgent Care is a total ripoff with incompetent staff. I have been there twice and both times have had similar experiences. I will NEVER go there again and advise everyone to BEWARE! The first time I went (5/13/17) I had an itchy red eye. The doctor spent about 3 minutes examining me, and prescribed some eyedrops. Charge: $450.00 of which Medicare approved $87.19. The second time (8/14/17) I had cut my arm severely two days before and feared an infection. The doctor saw me for under 10 minutes; he gave me a tetanus shot and administered a small bandage. He said he thought he should at least put a bandage on it because "the wife won't want blood on the sheets." Charge: $660.00 of which Medicare approved $109.15. I was billed $178.83 which I paid upon receipt of the bill (10/23/17) and hand delivered the check to Stuart Urgent Care. Then on 12/11/17 I received another bill for the same amount ($178.83). I had to print out the canceled check from my bank and present it to them as proof I already had paid. Not only do they charge outrageous prices that Medicare declines to pay, but their record keeping is incompetent. STAY AWAY! read more
