She changed the procedure, to a full scan of my neck down to my forearm which revealed; phlebitis/DVT. Her professionalism and extreme knowledge help diagnose the real issue and now I will be able to get the correct treatment needed to resolve my issue. I couldn't have been more wrong. Though my primary care is OK, the rest of the system is a disaster. Referrals take months to process if they call you back at all. Trying to get through their central scheduling office is a nightmare. It is almost impossible to book a radiology appointment. Their non-clinical administrative are poorly trained & can be very rude to patients at times. They can't seem to attract & retain enough specialty providers. Though I am not a big fan of Epic, their electronic medical record system, they don't seem to know how to use much of it. In addition forcing them to revert to an earlier version was an idiotic decision. To summarize the other integrated medical systems (e.g. Mayo Clinic, University of Miami, Mass General -Brigham & Women's) active in FL are missing a big opportunity on the Treasure Coast. They could easily displace Cleveland Clinic as the primary provider & I think patients would welcome there arrival in the area.
