Because Taco has a callopsed trachea and congestive heart failure. Along with Kidney disease. Ashley, when I arrived was doing absolutly nothing but chatting with a coworker behind the counter. Laughing and having a good time. I told her that i really need this medicine for the evening so Taco could sleep. She stated plainly that she didn't care about my dog and his problems. I was dumbfounded. WTH!!! She further stated that she wouldnt fill it without my Vet's DEA number. I said well call the Vet. The vet I use was still working until 5. She wouldn't do it. So I walked out to the parking lot and called my Vet and told her what was going on. She said she would call Ashley herself. And she did. My vet called me back a few minutes later and she said that Ashley really was a bi?ch. Even to the Vet. I wasnt able to get Taco's meds that night and of course taco had a really bad night as did I. All because of an apathetic rude uncaring individual named Ashley at the CVS store in Hickory. Ashley is a very shady character. No integrity. Absolutly none. Obviously hates animals. She really needs to get a solitary job where she is absolutly alone. She has zero people skills. Or empathy towards animals. When I finally got to speak with someone, I showed them my phone and the fact that I was still on hold WITH THEM, a call that had started nearly 40 minutes earlier while I was still at home. After talking to the person behind the counter - who was rude, condescending and completely not helpful - I left Walgreens and drove to the CVS a mile or so south, still listening to the "on hold" recording that promised someone would help me shortly. Did I mention this was my third call to this same Walgreens in two days and that my doctor's office had called them twice in the past 24 hours regarding this same issue? As I was walking into the CVS, someone actually answered the call that had kept me on hold for now almost an hour. (I was stubborn enough to see just how long it would take.) Answering the call, I explained that I was about to walk into the CVS to move my account there. Thankfully, I'll never have to deal with this particular Walgreens again.

I just made a phone call to let them know my partner was coming to retrieve a prescription of mine because I don't feel well enough to drive on my own. Well after sitting on hold for 5 years and having to call back, argue with the bot, and FINALLY get to talk to someone, she's unenthusiastic, bored tone, short answering, "mm. bye*click*" was how the phone call was ended after my question was answered(thankfully). I know it's not a "don't go here this place is horrible" kinda review but seriously, it was a simple question on a phone call, put in a little energy, get it done, and don't be a cunt about it.

The prescriptions are for my cat who has a heart condition and has hyperthyroidism. Some sensitivity, much less professionalism, on Waters Wellness, hmm? I have dealt with The Compounding Pharmacy for 18 years for many of my cats, but the new ownership with Waters Wellness Compounding has lost my business. There are too many online options to have to continue using a pharmacy that promises one thing but yet does not deliver as stated. Unfortunately, my local dollars will now go elsewhere.
