It's a great day. Harris Teeter in Mooresville stocks "Against the Grain Pesto Pizza". Y'all you don't understand, Chapel Hill and the neighboring areas (including Whole Foods) stopped carrying this specific brand a while back. This gluten free pizza is my favorite pizza hands down. I am so happy right now I just had to share. Harris Teeter has a lot of good specials right now so I recommend you check them out. I also appreciate the discount I received today because I had a VIC card. But no worries if you don't have one they will give you a card for the day so you can enjoy the special savings. Not my regular Harris Teeter but nevertheless, still very good. My regular Harris Teeter and the grocery store I shop at the most is the one at Jetton Cove which is right down from my house in Cornelius. This one was build a few years after the Cornelius Store. In many ways it like the Cornelius store and the other higher end Harris Teeter except this is essentially a reverse floor plan than Cornelius. When you walk into the Cornelius Store, the produce, flowers etc are on the right and here they are on the left etc so took a few minutes to reorient myself. It's not that I am totally unfamiliar with the store because at work, we have occasional need for dry ice and this is my go to place for that. My wife was home today with a virus and since I was having lunch around the corner, she asked if I would stop for some bread and more DayQuil which I was happy to do so. Walked in on the left and flowers were right there. Decided to try and cheer her up and buy her some flowers. Found a nice one but I hate to say it, the selection is somewhat more limited that the selection in the Cornelius Store. Found the Bread and picked that up. Had to asked an employee where the OTC's Drugs were at and she directed me to the Pharmacy which is on the right in Cornelius so needless to say, on the left in this store. Found the DayQuil and looked for a name brand equivalent which they did not have so ended up with the name brand DayQuil. Still a nice store and they did have most of what I was looking for and just had to do a little hunting for it. read more

Our sailing team forgot to order subs from the event so we needed to order them at the last minute and HT Deli was nice enough to get us the Friday Price break since we ordered them on Friday and we picked up 8 whole subs on Saturday and then again on Sunday. The amount of conndiments was excessive but better that than what I see a lot where wee have to do all that ourselves. They were so gracious and helpful and we will be back next year for some of the same! Thank you Harris Teeter! read more

There's a half dozen grocers closer to the house than this place so I don't get here often, usually it's in connection with organic free range eggs or milk or some such food request that isn't readily available at the king of foods. The store layout is pretty sane: produce and deli as you come in, bakery, hot bar, and everything else as you make your way around to frozen concentrated orange juice with brief excursions into condiments or beer and wine; for convenience chocolates and crackers can be got on the way to the check-out. Prices aren't horrible and sometimes it's double sale day in baked goods. The store is generally tidy and clean with samples of meats, fruits, and wine available on occasion. When using the self serve lanes scan your empty pizza box last so you don't have to request human intervention when the machine starts into nagging... read more

This is the grocery store I consistently shop at when I'm visiting family in Mooresville. They always have what I need at awesome prices (much more competitive than the other 2 stores on the other corners of this intersection). Produce is fantastic and they always have the rib roast available and on sale during the Christmas holiday. This store does have an attached Starbucks and they still have the penny dragon children's ride along. My only caveat is the lack of parking spaces in front of the store. Will I come here again? 10 min in line behind one person. 2 checkers. No baggers. A checker comes and opens up a lane but does not grab any of the people waiting behind these long lines. Think Im going somewhere else till they manage this store better. I love the food stocked here. But disappointed in the way its being run. My checker Sophia was amazing and sweet. I really like this Harris Teeter. The store is clean & the associates are helpful & friendly. Produce is always nice looking, they always seem to have people working in this area, so that gives me a sense of satisfaction knowing they're looking into things constantly. I made a decision to eat fish twice a week and this is the best place locally to buy fresh fish and a wide variety of it. I always look for North Carolina fish as well. I especially like the crab cakes already prepared. Shrimp is better if you cook it yourself in salted water. Most prepared shrimp comes already boiled in unsalted water which removes a lot of the taste. I've not been able to find any other local grocery store which offers so much variety. read more

Harris Teeter is AMAZING and they need to come to Pittsburgh,PA ASAP! It was so close to the house we rented on the lake and was an easy one stop shop for items we had forgotten to bring with us or ran out of while vacationing. They also had cheap wine/beer prices,in my opinion,compared to what we pay in Pittsburgh. The store was much cleaner than anything back home. read more

This is my favorite grocery store in the Mooresville area. It's always clean and service is prompt and friendly. A few months back my grandmother needed a few things from the store as well. I forgot my VIC card and her's too. They couldn't find my account under my phone number so I asked if I could use my grandmother's number since most of the groceries were hers anyway. The cashier said of course and gave me a senior citizens discount for her. She went above and beyond my expectations and I received 10 percent off the bill, pretty impressive. The selection here is better than other stores in Mooresville and quality of meat is excellent. This is also the only supermarket in Mooresville that has decent sushi, they even make some of their rolls with brown rice instead of white rice. read more

Though I do the bulk of my shopping at Target and Lowe's Foods, I do love the Teeter. I come here for hard-to-find produce and a great selection of more gourmet and boutique style snacks. They also have an awesome Vodka Sauce in their prepared foods section of the deli and I love the roasted garlic on the garlic and olive bar. Will I pay $6.00 here for a 12pack of Diet Dr. Pepper? No, not when I can get it for $3.00 at Target, but I will gladly pay for the hard-to-find items only stocked here. Bonus: Management is really responsive to customer needs and will usually special order any item they don't typically stock (Skyline Chili, anyone?) Kudos to Management: Unfortunately, a number of HTs have been targeted recently by robbers. Two Friday's ago I popped into this location around 7pm and noticed Mooresville PD standing guard up front. When I asked about this, the cashier told me it was arranged by HT in order to ensure employee and customer safety. I was really glad to see how seriously they take the safety of their staff. I've gone here a couple of times before, I've gotten sushi here and it's made me sick and the customer service is pretty bad. Don't trust them when they say they are open until 11pm, I've gone there at 10:30 and the doors were shut and locked. read more

All Harris Teeter stores advertise 8 piece fried or baked chicken on Fridays and so I arrived at 5:30pm and they said they were done making it for the day. People are not even home from work yet!! Manager said it's hit or miss when customers come in. I asked the guy behind counter if he could make some more and that I would wait for it. Nope. We are not making anymore today. Since when do employees make decisions like that when a customer is standing right in front of you. They should put up a sign that says " We sell chicken here but don't count on it being here for you when you get here" read more

We've had excellent service since moving here a few months ago. Currently we are shopping online for pick-up. If they are out of an item, when possible they substitute an equal or better quality one. They always call and check with us first. We've had really good luck with the produce they select as well. We definitely recommend this Harris Teeter. read more

This was my first time in a Harris Teeter, and I was relatively impressed. The store was very clean, which is important for a grocery store. There was a huge selection of produce, meats, cheeses and more. So long as you have their VIC card you will get some sweet deals...I saw porterhouse steaks for $5.99 a pound, crab legs for $6.99 a pound and some other great deals as well. The only thing is the normal items are a bit pricey compared to Wally World and some other grocery stores. I would do the bulk of my food shopping elsewhere but would definitely come here weekly to get the special items, be it high-end or discount. read more

Harris Teeter on Highway 150, Mooresville. We patronize this location more than any other grocery store. It has great choices of products, it's clean and the staff is friendly. I have two items of discussion. First, the organic apples are wrapped completely around with a blue tape then a sticker stuck on the side of every apple. It is very inconvenient to locate the end of the tape to undo it and the sticker leaves residue that has to be scrubbed off. This whole process is so unnecessary and challenging just to eat an organic apple. Next, we often have to look for someone to check us out. There are not enough cashiers available. John C. read more

FOOD POISONING!!! Avoid the pizza bar unless you want to spend all night vomiting. The deli is even worse, I have seen employees go outside for a smoke with gloves on and then come back and serve customers without washing their hands or changing gloves. Many times people have come to serve us pizza, they neither washing their hands or put on clean gloves. They leave the pizza out for too long and it gets bacterial growth which leads to food poisoning. My husband's co-workers used to eat at Harris Teeter everyday and everyday they would get sick. They thought is was being causes by something else. Check out your local health department and review sites and you will see many complaints about food poisoning and poor hygiene. read more
