First off let me say I love Publix. It''s my go to store. But I have a question for management. On several occasions at the deli I have seen the employees throw deli meats in the trash if they are over just a little on the customers orders ? Why ! It makes more sense to just give it to the customer after their order has been weighed and priced rather than throwing it in the trash. Not this store but all their stores. Publix really knows how to make a sub. I have not had a sub in years and decided today was a good day to grab one and eat outside. I ordered online and the sub was ready on time and I literally picked it up off a cart. No waiting in line. I ordered a half sub on Italian grain bread. This alone was delicious. The sub was toasted and warm. I asked for lean roast beef which was just the way I like it and thinly sliced. The meat was fresh and flavorful. I also added the Publix sub sauce which in itself is lovely. I added lots of veggies to the sub and just a tad of Mayo. Yum! This was a satisfying sub and I feel Publix knows how to prep a sub. I shop this store as a customer, and I also shop it when I do a little instacart shopping for others. There is a reason I choose to come here. The store setup is so clean, so easily shopped, and they always have organized shelves that are rarely out of stock on items. The customer service is also top notch. They also have great food options. You might surprise yourself if you're looking for a quick lunch, and you give Publix a try. Their made to order subs rival any sub chain out there, and are cheaper. Their hot deli items are always fresh, and you can get an entree, plus two sides and a roll for under 8 bucks. They give you pretty generous helpings as well! There are a lot of pre made cold items as well. Their bakery is above average for a grocery store. Their flowers are always in great condition. It's just a top notch grocery store, and I've been in Publix all over Charlotte and lake Norman. This one stands out as the best to me. read more

I was robbed in the Publix store. I was stalked while shopping and then robbed. Publix did nothing! I asked for help, they did nothing. In the span of 30 minutes, the thieves charged more than $5,000 to my credit card. I actually had to call the police myself. The police came and viewed the security footage and saw the entire incident. This was a robbery that was preventable by Publix. Their lack of caring is disturbing. read more

I frequently shop here because the produce and bakery always serves fresh products. If I'm planning to cook the items on the same day it taste so much better. The prices are slightly higher than other grocery stores in my area but you get what you pay for. The service I received from the staff is always pleasant and helpful. They even offer to take my groceries to my car for no additional cost. Oh and don't forget to sample new products at the sample stations. On weekends they have food tasting and offer cooking & baking recommendations. I never have to be concerned with my car getting hit by a cart because everyone is courteous and returns their cart to the holding area. This is a nice clean place to shop. I recommend shopping during the week after 7pm. There are fewer people and everything is normally restocked. read more

I've never used Apple Pay before. Did not offer to help me. Just stood there. They have the friendliness staff in the deli department, the subs are outstanding and the chicken is the best in town. My mom loves the okra and stew tomatoes, the gentleman the other day told her to call the morning of her coming in and he would make sure they had them in the hot bar. Yeah, a lot of positive reviews of this store. Let me tell you what I seen a few times going there. First, we went to get a fresh made sandwich at the deli. We step up. No one greets us. The woman says to the other one." I'm going on lunch, take care of these..." ok, the girl that takes over is like, " what do you want?" No, hello or anything. She was going thru the order and not saying anything to us. I asked if she could cut the sub in half since my son and I were sharing it. "Whatever. " was her reply. I just wanted a sub for lunch. Publix grocery store in Mooresville is so awesome. When we asked about a product not only did Donna in the deli help us but also did the store manager and produce manager. They spent the extra time to assure us about the produce and deli goods. And when we asked a young man if any more of a product was available he immediately went to the back and bought out what we asked for. He also spent the time to tell us only 3 left and brought us another. Wow! He took time out from stocking the shelves to help us.! read more

Is it a nice clean store, yes. Are the staff super friendly and ask you to come back, yes. Are there less store brand options offered, yes. Is the store relatively empty on a Thursday afternoon, yes. Are products relatively higher priced than the competitor store across the street, yes. Granted, the prepared food section served top notch food. The whole sub and the tenders and mac were consumed by the kiddos. I got a pound of cooked 26/30 shrimp and some of it spilled over to the raw seafood and the publix staff just continued scooping them into my bag; I should have known better when the cooked shrimps were not in a separate cooked seafood area. However, produce and grocery prices were easily a third to double of my normal stores, HT or Aldi. Will I come back here again? Probably not (due to the higher prices), but yes if my kiddos really want some prepared foods. read more

One of the newer Publix in the area and has been open for only three or four months. Very clean, well organized and well lit with a a great selection of groceries and other items. The sushi is good in particular as is the Deli and Bakery. We were having dinner down the strip mall from the Publix and after dinner, I walked over while my wife went to the car. Picked up the items I needed in just a matter or minutes and while they only had one check out line open, they processed the folks ahead of me in a timely manner and I was back to the car in just a couple of minutes. This was not the first time I had visited the store but each time the service and selection has always been great read more

I've shopped at every single grocery store in and around Mooresville and Publix has what I shop for most. I have a dairy allergy and they have a well stocked and varied dairy free cheese, yogurt, milk, butter and prepared frozen products (pizza and ice cream for example). I spend my food dollars here. They have a better selection than Whole Foods or Earth Fare, which is where I used to look for my food. They have the best sourdough rounds in the bakery and their desserts are delicious. I also like their ready-to-eat selections. The only thing I'm not impressed with is their seafood but there are other places I can get that around town. read more

I like fresh bakery as much as the next person but tomorrow morning it's going to be a day old anyway. And I suppose having a multitude of people around "to serve me better" is good but it's a grocery store, I'll figure out where stuff is. Nice to have fifteen choices of eggs but after synthetic / organic + free range / big cage / tiny cage it's still eggs. It's out of my way approximately thirty days each month plus it's kinda spendy compared to my usual grocery but dispensed water is only $0.35 gallon and the cubans are tasty so I make the infrequent trip. Apparently Publix fills a need for the folks around Mooresville; that need includes organic eggs and milk. I suppose that in the end the market place will take care of the market places. read more

Having grown up in Florida, I was excited to get a Publix here! So far I've been a little on the disappointed side... Bakery- 1 star- The bread is constantly either stale, burnt or both. The other day I went in there to get hot dog buns and they were so dark brown and hard I asked the girl working there if there was any ones not so burnt and she says oh no that's how they're supposed to be :| Most the time I usually spend 5 min trying to find a loaf of bread worth buying and end up getting frustrated and not buying any. Deli - 2 stars- some of the workers there act clueless and in another world a few of the times I've gotten deli meats. Seafood section- 5 stars- The guy working there is always helpful and polite. Meat department- 5 stars- no issues ever The whole flower department and bridal registry? area seems like it's in a odd spot and makes it difficult to get around in busy times. As for the rest of the store it's seems clean and I can usually get through the registers fairly quickly. read more

I have been supporting Publix since it opened 2016 here on Brawley School Road, Mooresville NC. Each Christmas season the store was seasonably decorated. This year it was not the same until last Friday! When I went in there was a beautiful big Christmas tree and pointsettias at the base. A man was greeting customers and I commented on how lovely. Corporate said we we could not decorate this year. We just got the "OK" Tuesday and we went full steam ahead. Since this COVID stuff, I rush in and rush out but that tree gave me a boost to my morale. Thank you for the dedicated employees there who have always been so friendly and helpful. The deli and bakery have beautiful slate/marble looking walls and the rest of the store is accented in wood and slate. This supermarket is awesome. The prices are much lower then Harris Teeter, and you never need a loyalty card... and their bogo sales are insane. They even take all coupons on top of thar for more savings. The deli especially is super clean, friendly, and always have what i need or will make it. Keep up the great work. Absolutely the best grocery store there is!!! If they don't have it, you don't need it. You wont turn into an aisle without finding help with anything you need! I most especially love the wine section of this store, I swear the wine 'expert' has more knowledge than people that work at the wineries in California! They are very organized and clean. They don't carry many items in the frozen section like chicken potstickers or Texas toast. However, it's a quick grocery store and less traffic compared to walmart and harris teeter. read more
