Both ladies working at the front desk were also very kind, and helped me choose which glasses I wanted to purchase today. Larry (I am 90% sure this was his name, I'm so sorry I am terrible with names) was so nice, funny, and again also helped me pick my glasses. He helped me figure out what options were most financially reasonable for me. I feel like some places try to get you to buy the most expensive things, but I did not feel that way today which was great. No pressure! The COVID protocol was also great. I enjoyed the family-like and fun environment that the staff shared. I am too excited to pick up my new glasses/contacts in the next few weeks. Thank you guys so much again!

I called Abba early on Christmas Eve Eve and they were able to sneak me in same day for an appointment. I saw Dr. Douglas Kim who was thorough, informative and very forthcoming about the infection and what I needed to do to resolve it. They called in an rx for me at Walgreens on the west side at Uintah Gardens. Walgreens was unable to fill the rx due to a stock outage so I called Abba and they were able to immediately call King Soopers in the same complex which DID have stock. Abba went out of their way to ensure I had the rx before the holiday and I am so grateful to them! I went for a follow up today with Dr. Kim and he gave me another thorough exam and feedback. I'll follow up with my local optometrist in Dallas next week after 5 more days of medicated eye drops. Abba was easy to work with, their staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful, and I am so grateful I found this location for future needs while visiting family. Great experience and highly recommend!

He is very professional and I had to recently go back for a recheck because my prescription was slightly off due to my dry eyes. Which I am now being treated for. And hopefully will help with future problems. Their office staff is wonderful! I worked with Angelea, their insurance specialist, and she is amazing! I have known her for 15 years, as she used to work for my chiropractor. She is extremely knowledgeable and helped me find the best VSP plan to keep my costs down! I like the fact that I have a 1 year warranty on both frames and lenses in case they break. I have had to use that warranty a couple of times, which has saved me a lot of money in the end. Kayla helped me with picking out frames, which turned out to be a big job, since I am extremely picky. She worked with Mindy the office manager. My appt was in September here I am getting billed again for the third time for same appointment weeks later (it's Oct 8). I have two different insurances I shouldn't have to pay anything for a SIMPLE eye exam. It's ridiculous. I call to complain cause why would they keep doing this promise me a call back within an hour. Nothing. So just to clarify I had an eye exam appointment in September. They told me at the appointment that my insurance will cover the eye exam. There is no co-pay there is no fee. I'm like perfect as to be expected when I have two different eye insurances, right. Wrong. lol They have now billed me again weeks later after they called me and demanded over $100 extra the day after my appointment because they messed up somewhere. I can't get an explanation for this of course because the staff there are incompetent when it comes to insurance and billing. Clearly. Manager can't be bothered to take my call. Won't be going back. Also getting into this parking lot and parking is a nightmare if you have a truck.

Kept insisting and sarcastically making remarks to make you feel stupid. After she told me that the contact lens exam was an extra 130 not including the lens i was confused because i didnt know that was a seperate exam and nobody told me. She said its in the fine print. Yes lady cause everywhere you go im sure you read the terms and conditions word by word. So i simply said ill pass on the contacts. And 3 times she said "i have to start from scratch sorry" just to make you feel bad. Which i didnt cause my bad you have to work a tiny bit harder from your super uncomfortable desk chair. (Late Friday afternoon.) He took a thorough look and said the abrasion on my eye would eventually heal, but prescribed an ointment. Now it's the next day and I feel 100% better. I could barely see out of my right eye yesterday. Dr Bauer has a wonderful "bedside manner", was patient and kind. I highly recommend him, and would definitely go again.

I did not know that as a person with severe nearsightedness that I would be at a much higher risk of retinal detachment, and that I needed to keep a very close eye on my eye health, as no doctor has ever told me before. I go in regularly because my vision keeps getting worse over the years so I have just gone in to update my glasses prescription over the years to different places, even one just this past year, but had not been offered or urged to get retinal imaging even though I have severe nearsightedness. THANK GOD Dr. Bauer's office requires retinal imaging at a common eye prescription appointment because I may not have known I needed it, since my vision has been normal besides needing an updated glasses prescription. He looked at my retinal images and immediately noticed that something was very wrong and helped make me an appointment with a retinal specialist right away, he literally texted the retina specialist my imaging when I was there in the chair. I don't have a very good prospect for my eye, and will likely require complex surgery, because I had never been told that I needed to have retinal imaging every year. I wish I had seen Dr. Bauer much earlier, as he would have caught my retinal detachment much sooner and my surgery outcome would be much better. But I am thankful he found it now. Overall I am so grateful for Dr. Bauer, he may have saved me from going blind. He was very smart and knowledgeable, kind, and even funny! He has a great bedside manner, which matters a lot to me since I have significant anxiety, especially around medical issues. Make sure to take care of your eyes and get them checked, Dr. Bauer is a great doctor to go to. THANK YOU!
