if you wear RPG lenses don't go here. I asked specifically if the doctor fit hard contact lenses and I was told yes. 5 months several refits and my 2 year old lenses are more clear and fit better then my new lenses. read more

This is a good Visionworks location. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. I have an issue with the glasses that I ordered, which was a little inconvenient. The staff did an excellent job fixing my problem and making the issue a priority. I appreciated their integrity in fixing the error and providing excellent customer service. I will definitely purchase glasses from them again. read more

The staff is great and the whole process was very good, but the quality of the Premier Progressives was poor. I've worn progressives for years and these were very distorted, peripheral vision was terrible. Turns out the "clear" area was minimal and can be made larger. The frame and lens price points were excellent, especially with VSP insurance, but I ended up bringing the frames to ReplaceALens in the south Denver area to fix them, they did an excellent job with more options and have very high quality replacement lenses available. Spent another $300 but now the glasses are just great, and still came in much cheaper overall than I have spent in the past for new frames and all the lens bells and whistles (transitions, etc). The frame selection is fairly large here but not terribly interesting, but this is the Springs after all ... read more

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Doctor explained to me everything that was affecting my vision and with this information I have been able to work on some of those habits. Staff did not rush me, explained everything and charges before we began, I was given ample time to find glasses without feeling like I was inconvenencing anyone, the person I ordered glasses from answered all my questions about price and products offered. read more

Today was my first time going to this Visionworks, and I will for sure be returning again. I had the opportunity to be seen by Dr. Barton, who took the time to answer any questions/concerns I had, and was so kind and helpful. Both ladies working at the front desk were also very kind, and helped me choose which glasses I wanted to purchase today. Larry (I am 90% sure this was his name, I'm so sorry I am terrible with names) was so nice, funny, and again also helped me pick my glasses. He helped me figure out what options were most financially reasonable for me. I feel like some places try to get you to buy the most expensive things, but I did not feel that way today which was great. No pressure! The COVID protocol was also great. I enjoyed the family-like and fun environment that the staff shared. I am too excited to pick up my new glasses/contacts in the next few weeks. Thank you guys so much again! read more

Omg this place is amazing. Everyone is so nice and helpful especially during the covid time. My glasses fit perfect no adjustment needed on the frames. The lenses are also perfect. Normally when I get new glasses I can feel my eyes adjusting to the new script but these I put on and WOW no adjusting they were right. I think I have my new eyeglass place. Last year I spent around 700$ in this store. I bought two pairs of glasses for myself and a pair for my mother. I paid everything from mine fsa account. Insurance asked me for a copy of a receipt months after one of the purchases which I unfortunately lost. I went to the store to ask for a copy of the receipt, and they refused to help me. They gave me some bull story about how its on a another system or something. Now I have to reimburse out of pocket. I've been there multiple times trying to get a simple receipt. They have me on record shopping there. I can understand selling bad product, which they are not doing, but causing direct financial harm to your customer for no reason whatsoever is ludicrous way to conduct your bussiness. You can spend your money there but just don't expect to get any help from them if you need it. I'm not stepping foot in there again, would give zero stars if I could. read more

My daughter and I had our first appointments at Visionworks today. Let me start by saying I was less than excited and had very low expectations based on past terrible experiences with eye doctor offices in Colorado Springs. Visionworks exceeded my expectations, I was very satisfied with the whole process. Scheduling appointments was a breeze, they sent text reminders of the appointments, and check in was speedy. All the staff was very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. In light of the current COVID situation-they followed the guidelines set forth and took great care in sanitizing after each patient. If you are tired of the sub-par offices in Colorado Springs-this is your place! Finally a office that does things right from every aspect. read more

Vision works reviews BUYER BEWARE. Do not use Vision works on Cheyenne Rd. On January 21st of this year I used Vision works for my annual vision test. The eye appointment itself was fine. The Doc there is good and easy to talk to. The rest of the staff is no better than used cars salesmen. Andrea is the store manager and Larry was the sales guy. After the eye appointment I selected a nice pair of ray bans. I purchased the high option for my vision insurance for the specific reason of not having to come out of pocket very much. Buying glasses from this place is like buying a used car. Once I made my selection they sat me down at a desk and turned over their computer to show me all of my options. I already knew I wanted the transition lenses and then for another $20.00 I can get the glare reduction lenses. This was the cheapest of three options for glare reduction. The doctor and staff all recommended progressive lenses and of course there is a base option and an option where the "reading view" (lower half of the lenses) is wider. Recommended, but not necessary. This option was an addition $90.00. More and more options at more and more cost (a lot like car salesmen). I asked Larry about the possibility of making new lenses with the new prescriptions into my existing glasses, to be used as a back up. His reply was sure we can do that, and then never brought the topic up again. Their offer was the second sets of glasses were 50% off. So with my purchase complete I set the order and was told the glasses would be ready in one to two weeks. On the 29th I went to get my new glasses. One second after I put them on they were the worst things I'd had on. On either side of the aforementioned reading line everything was blurry. I couldn't see anything clearly using my peripheral vision. Andrea tells me this is normal and that I would get use to it. My response to her was that was about the dumbest thing I'd heard all week. I came to get glasses so my blurry vision would be clear, not blurrier. I asked her about the second set of glasses I spoke with Larry about and she replied that offer is only available on the day of purchase and a new set of lenses was going to be $268.00 dollars. She goes on to tell me that Larry is usually such a good guy and she never offers the regular progressive reading area because the wider one works much better. I told her I was not happy with the purchase and if needed I'd take a refund on my money and contact the insurance company and let them know not to pay for the existing bill. I'll mention that the total bill was $685.00. Andrea said she was going to talk to Larry that afternoon and she or him would get back to me. It is now the 31st and I have not heard a word from either party. I'm in the process of contacting my insurance company to have this complaint investigated as fraudulent activity. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this place. read more
