I've always heard they have some decent stuff and some prices at ALDI are lower than regular markets. They do have a good variety of stuff, from name brand items to some generic stuff that seems to be a lot cheaper than other places. They also have a decent selection of snacks, fruits and vegetables, and also all types of breads and meats. We were able to load up on groceries that will last a few days and the total price was not too bad. I'm not sure if the prices are just lower here in Oneonta, but I can't wait to go back to an ALDI in so cal and hopefully find the same great deals and values.

this store is outstanding in every way except those darn automatic checkouts…read more most times there is a very long line at the one human checkout open while the automatic checkouts are empty. saving money on cashiers is penny wise & pound foolish. many people walk out instead of waiting on long line. also, many oeople i know stopped going to aldi,s because of it. how much is it costing aldi's in lost sales & lost customers?

It was a smallish bj's with less selection I felt but they still seemed to have all of the staples. This may be due to NY law but the beer / wine offerings were different from other bj's I've been in. There was a basic selection of beer and 4 or 5 varietals of very off brand wine, or maybe it was non alcohol wine, not sure. In any event, good spot to get your shopping done.

There is no fresh deli cold cut section nor are there vendors like there are in other locations (such as Pizza Hut or Dunkin Donuts). There is a Verizon booth though. A few years ago, I told the person who was working there that my phone charger wire stopped working and he replaced one for free which was really kind. I like that there is some diversity in products even compared to the BJs locations in the Queens/Long Island area. My experience here has been good 9/10 times. The only time it hasn't been good was when a store manager asked an associate to watch me check out. It was really uncomfortable and unnecessary since it wasn't to assist us or anything. Nobody else had to be watched like children. What a way to ruin people's day.

An eclectic mix of convenience foods, used kid's toys, imported foods, ethnic foods, drinks, snacks, etc. The guy at the counter was extremely nice and gave my kids some free candy. It's kind of like a combination yard sale and convenience store. I'd definitely go back if I was in the mall.

During the winter months, its short staffed, due to low traffic volume. Cooperstown is a seasonal place, busy in the summer and dead in the winter. This store is much busier in summer, and the quality of help, the amount of stock, and level of service improve, since more business = more hours to run the business. Plenty of parking, next to other businesses, so its a nice little shopping center. You can get a lot of things in one trip without driving all over. Not crowded or congested like it is driving into town, where one cannot get around easily in the summer months due to the tourist influx.
