Supercentre in Kelowna. Truly large location with friendly staff and well stocked shelves. Aisles are clean and it's Walmart. There is also a self check out here along with 12 under items check out and of course regular check out. McDonald's located inside this location which is nice to keep kids and parents fed before or after shopping. Parking lot is abundant and on its own within the shopping complex. Walmart shoppers rejoice. Great location. read more

I regularly dislike the way it feels shopping in this store. it feels like I am not welcome. Today, as I was self checking out without a reusable bag, I saw two stacks of bags for sale: paper bags and the expensive reusable ones. I don't need any more reusable bags, I have too many and I'm not interested in advertising for Walmart. I just wanted a basic 25 cent bag. and as I saw many many people just grabbing these 25 cent bags I thought they were available for purchase. I asked one of the employees for a bag and was summarily told I coups not buy one, which seemed odd to me because everyone was buying them. Is this discrimination, kind of looks at that way. If everyone I saw buying these less expensive bags were not necessarily delivery people, seems like an inconsistent policy. Not interested in returning again. read more

I guess we aren't allowed to mention culture anymore because it's racist? But, not one employee was able to answer any inquiry I had as to location of product, or anything for that matter! They speak in their language to each other, on ear buds and the smell of BO as I passed one female employee was stark, like RIPE. I asked where an item was, and was met with a blank stare then she continued talking to someone I think on her phone, as large white ear buds where in, and it was clearly Punjabi. I don't expect this comment to go anywhere, as the customer service manager is Punjabi, and obviously the whole store is just them now. read more

Their wasn't a single hand cart to be found today (Monday, June 20th). When I asked the greeter, all she said was, "Go check the tills, that's where they end up first." Another man complained as well because of the same problem. When I checked the cash registers there weren't any carts there either. Finally, I had to go to the self-checkout, grab a hand cart and walk back out. It's not my job to go searching around your business to find a damn hand cart. If this is the way it's going to be, start paying me to shop in your store. Complete bullshit. read more

The Wal Mart in Kelowna has friendly staff and management, they are really doing a great job! Covid19 has changed the way I shopped, and I have been to Wal-Marts across Canada during my cross country trip, they've been helpful, not pushy, and are hard workers. Do some of these people giving negative reviews about stupid stuff, not have anything better to do? Give people a break! It's no different then any other big box store! The reviews are things that could happen at any store. I've been going to Walmart in Kelowna many years and have never seen a messy store, not enough shopping carts, bad employees, empty shelves! This is a pretty nice, clean walmart. Unfortunately, they didn't have what we wanted (chains for tires). Otherwise, they had other things we wanted and needed and the staff was very friendly. read more

We stopped off at this Walmart after my hair clip broke and also needed to pick up some milk for our toddlers. It was mid-day so unsure why there were stocking boxes all over the aisles. The place was pretty tidy other than the inventory boxes all over the place. They had a small section of Canadian souvenirs, which was great to pick up some keychains and magnets to take back home. I went to Walmart as I do, and I saw that they HAVE SPRAY PAINTED A LIVE PLANT! I love to plant little succulent and cactuses and it is my pride and joy. SO WHEN I SAW THEY SPRAY PAINTED A SUCCULENT GREEN (even tho it was already green) my heart sank. Those poor little succulents. Just because it's Christmas doesn't mean you should spray paint an ALREADY GREEN plant a horrible lime green. ‍‍‍ read more

Nice big Walmart. RVs do stay over night here. Friendly staff, well stocked, lots of tills, clean bathrooms. Excellent prices. They try to keep it clean in the lot. The sad thing is, there are a lot of homeless who hang about in the evening. Thank you Walmart for allowing overnight travelers. In the USA there are Travel centers, flying Js Loves and pilots that truckers and RV haulers can reset their time. Have showers and wash cloths. .... between Osoyoos to Kelowna there are no travel centers. Very much appreciate the ability to rest and recuperate, shop and relax. read more

Do not expect any customer service on any level. If you walk in, call, or e mail. Understand no one will pick up the phone, no one will responded to your emails and good luck finding a staff to be helpful or knowledgeable. read more

Was in walmart in kelowna today (april21) and i was coming out if the bathroom and there was 2 other girls and a young 12 yr old in bathroom and the guy who cleans bathrooms went in i told him there were people in the bathroom still and he doesnt leave i keep watching and still doesnt come out so the 2 girls come out and i go back to the bathroom and the guy is fully in the bathroom in where sinks were im like umm there is still someone in here and he gets mad and goes yeah i can see that... so i go back to where my friends were and was telling them and the cashier was listening and shes like hes supposed to be outside the door... so i went to customer service after my friend went into the bathroom and kicked him out as he still DIDNT leave... so i went and complained about him to the lady at customer service she went to talk to him... but that is unexceptable read more
