I went in there with the intent to make a reasonably large purchase, but ended up losing the will to do it after dealing with the old guys in the hardware section. The kids who work there know the deal and do the best they can with a retail job, but Canadian Tire needs to send the old guys away to learn how to deal with people. They literally killed the "I want to buy stuff" vibe by being condescending/generally unpleasant and lost a guaranteed sale. I get that these stores are in a tough position in needing hardware expertise but only being able to pay for retail people, but the older staff clearly aren't trained enough for that environment. Keep in mind that I didn't even need or ask for help...this guy talked me out of a sale for absolutely no reason. This is a good example of why people would buy online.

Sept. 25/26…read more We were told it'll cost us $480, ok, we get there, they say we gave the wrong price, it'll be $550, fine, they take it in, we just start to look around the store, they phone me saying it's a 6 cylinder it's going to cost more. It cost us $755! That's only the beginning! They said they'll do their best to get us done by noon, because we had a 7 hr drive to get us half way home, noon came and went, then they said by 2pm, same thing, we asked how much longer, the guy said "Oh, he's just starting to put it back together" I doubt he worked on it right through. Didn't leave Kelowna until 6pm, got to our destination at 3am Sat. morning. Wake up to start our way home, the engine lights are on. Asked the guy at Canadians Best Oil change place why it would be on, he said it may be because the maintenance light was on to get the timing belt and sparks plugs done, so never thought anything of it. A couple hrs later we stop for gas on our was home, turn the van on and the warning lights come on about 8 other things, Sept 27th the lights are still flashing, today Sept. 28th, the lights are still flashing, but now barely driving, vibrating lots when driving, no power up hill. Seems like it's ready to completely quit on me. I should have seen the red flag when I was asked to sign a paper saying they won't be held accountable if any problems after! I wish I saw the reviews before hand!

I don't need any more reusable bags, I have too many and I'm not interested in advertising for Walmart. I just wanted a basic 25 cent bag. and as I saw many many people just grabbing these 25 cent bags I thought they were available for purchase. I asked one of the employees for a bag and was summarily told I coups not buy one, which seemed odd to me because everyone was buying them. Is this discrimination, kind of looks at that way. If everyone I saw buying these less expensive bags were not necessarily delivery people, seems like an inconsistent policy. Not interested in returning again.

You will find here Bestbuy, London Drugs, Hudson Bay, Shoppers and etc. The mall is quite big and let's just say they have a good selection of stores here. It is an indoor mall with plenty of free parking. They also have a pretty big food court.

This is the best Home Depot I have ever been into. We are doing a renovation so we were literally…read morein there every day for ten days straight. The service did not change. It was exceptional everytime we walked in that door and we were in gardening, plumbing, tiles, lumber.... dealt with many different departments and all the staff was outstanding. And unlike Vancouver (where I am from), here you walk in the door and someone greets you, people were always asking if they could help us find something. And they always had everything we needed. Yet, it is store policy to keep the money and to give no proof of credit. Needless to say I am not impressed by being ripped off.
