But two minutes after being in the store they dimmed the lights to an absurd level. No one greeted us or asked if we wanted help. I passed two employees who turned their backs to me and wouldn't make eye contact. I tried to go to the fitting rooms and was told (rudely) that the fitting rooms were closed. I asked if it was because of Covid and they said no its because they closed at 5. I took my things to the cash as asked if everything I had was returnable because I couldn't try it on and may need to bring it back. I had to ask twice because the clerk just ignored me the first time. I thought, okay whatever it's a bunch of teens working who probably just want to get out early. I get it. I've worked retail. But then I saw someone who I assumed was a manager because of how she was talking to staff. She went infront of my sister in the checkout to purchase her own things before her even though she was obviously still on the clock (still had her radio on and everything). So we're leaving and it's still fifteen minutes to five and she's locking the other door and we're leaving. I stopped to ask if she was infact management and she said she was. I asked why she was letting her employees dim the lights a full half hour before close. At first she lied and told me they close at 4:30 even though another employee (and Google) had already told me they closed at five. After calling out her lie she said they have to "flush people out" early. I told her that was incredibly irregular for a box store to do that and she told me that I should make a complaint and not haras her. All this as she is literally locking the front doors before 5. Then she yelled after us a sarcastic 'have a nice day' as we left. I think there were maybe 2 other people in the store. No line. Certainly no reason to need to "flush people out" or lock the doors. And im sure it's against policy to buy stuff for yourself while on the clock. If the manager hadn't been so rude I probably wouldn't have made a complaint, but she was truly incompetent. Like I said, I've worked retail, but she didn't even bother to give me some BS apology. Didn't care at all.

Old Navy is where I go for some cheap t-shirts. I usually go here for the beginning of summer…read more T-Shirts for 12.99, flip-flops 2 for 6 dollars. None of the items you get here are the best quality, but you will get some great deals. The staff here are usually good, and you can take arm loads into the changing room. The biggest thing I love is the return policy, 90 days.

I perused halfheartedly and found some cute little shorts, along with a couple of good tops. Keeping in line with many other Frenchy's, this joint posts a fees list on the wall, so you can take a gander and find out what each garment is going to set you back. The prices are good, and the store is clean and uber bright. Andrew found the score of the evening; a sexy novelty pop-top (aka: bottle opener) which only cost 25 cents. If you're cruising the Dutch Village strip, veer off the road and head into this used goods hot-spot. Perhaps a treasure you will discover.

No matter what time of day I go, I'm usually searching through the same bins as at least one other shopper. I usually leave this store with a bag or two full of clothes for around $30. I find their clothes a little less expensive than your larger second hand clothing stores such as Value Village. I will say that I do find certain days better than others. I find some days hit and miss. I can either walk out with a lot of great picks or can barely find a thing on certain days. I think that they must only get stock once or twice a week and because there are so many shoppers, the clothing is picked over quickly.

I am a shoe shopper and nothing puts a bigger smile on my face more than a comfy, sexy pair of heals, or a cozy pair of slippers, or a casual pair of flats or even a pair of Nike runners for when I need to get out for a stroll. The Shoe Company has great selections at a reasonable price. I can usually get a pair of good quality shoes for under $50.00. I sometimes find it hard to get my size. Most times, they have a lot of size 7 and 8's left but when it comes down to finding a pair of size 9's, it's scarce. The staff is quite helpful though and are quick to offer assistance with calling another store. I am a fan of The Shoe Company and will continue to shop especially in the Dartmouth Crossing. Much better selection there!

Bought a pair and then when I got them home I wanted to put them on and walk around the house to make sure they felt good, I did walk outside on my deck for about 10 mins. and then took them back off. My toe was hitting at the end of the sneaker making it uncomfortable. I decided to return them. Well that was the beginning of the worst experience I had. I wish I would have gotten the employees name but I didn't she was the most ignorant, unfriendly retail associate that I have ever met. I have worked in retail for a long time. She went on to tell me that they were too dirty and worn and she couldn't expect to sell these to another customer. She proceeded to tell me that she wasn't suppose to tell me but I could sell them on Market Place or give them to a donation place. She then she told me she could give me 20% of my purchase back to me. I looked at her and told her no thanks and walked out of the store. My sneakers by no means were dirty and definitely not worn. I will never again shop at the Shoe Company and I will be letting lots of people know what terrible customers service I received!
