I'm not going to rant and rave in this review; but my relationship with this bunch is severed! And it's all over 1.00 and poor management! I just bought two six packs of paper towels that were marked 4.50 a pack. I walked out the door, looked at my receipt and realized that I was charged an extra dollar for both. I politely walked back into the store and was confronted by the nice lady who checked me out. She asked me if I had forgotten something and I replied yes; I forgot to get the dollar back that I was overcharged on the paper towels. She explained to me that the Family Dollar chain had been recently bought out by the Dollar Tree group and they aren't allowed to change shelf prices! The new owner sends a person around to do that. Really? Like I said it's not about a lousy Buck at all! And this review is not about the store personnel either they only work there and they are nice folks! It's about honesty and integrity and knowing how to retain customer loyalty at the corporate level.The nice check out lady did offer to let me return my purchase for a refund but I really needed these paper towels! When I was informed that the Dollar Tree group owned this place I knew it was a lost cause.

She deserves better! I've had much better luck and gotten better value for the money by using online vendors in the past and am sorry I didn't do that this time. Over several years I painted the exterior of every building and every interior room on my farm so I got to know them well. It didn't matter if I was buying a paint brush or hundreds of $$ of paint, there was always great service and that's the way they treat everyone that comes through the door. And, they have spent countless hours with me helping to match paints and stains or altering colors of already-purchased paints that were not quite the color I wanted. Plus, they will maintain a record for you in their system of which room a certain paint color is used in. They can get busy sometimes and that results in a bit of a wait but that can happen anywhere. Don't buy paint from the "big box" stores when you've got such a great local resource.

This business will not complete the finishing touches on your built on site sheds, they do not…read morecaulk anything or paint. I am very upset as I am getting water in our shed and water damage on wood and when I put in a warranty service they say the warranty is voided because I did not caulk the door. Yes reading the contract it says the building must be caulked and painted within 60 days of build date. I do not know much about caulking and thought that would be the installers job, especially around the windows! I got window leaks and they came out and did some repairs but I still had to caulk the windows which I did, yet they did not mention caulking anything else, even the owner came out which was nice and agreed to fix some things and added a wider ridge vent and put a new ramp for us, which I am thankful for, even though I had not caulked. He did not mention caulking the whole building. Also the metal roofs they build do not overhang! This causes dirty water to run down the wood making the paint job- if you painted- dirty. This business needs to improve by providing the caulking service and overhanging all roofs. No one showed me where to caulk besides telling me it was my job to caulk the windows. So now I have no warranty due to them putting in the contract that it has to be caulked or void warranty, yet they did not tell me that in person or point it out or show it. Also the hook on the doors to keep it open are rusting already. I spend all this money on a shed and they still want me to caulk and paint, unacceptable! They don't even install gutters, which would be a solution for not overhanging the roofs. Our neighbors shed is the same size and style and his metal roof overhangs like it should, that company knows what they are doing.

Over the last couple of years I've been in so many of these stores it's unreal. My first glance in this one really got attention! This place until recently was a drugstore converted into a Dollar Tree. I liked this experience and I liked it a lot! Truly this is an example of the way any dollar store should operate!
