The staff are decent, the store is clean, and it's small it's not a super Walmart, so the store can run out of water or shouldn't stuff, the Walmart clothing is getting better! This pharmacy severely overcharges for medications compared to other pharmacies, both local and online. Our dog's gabapentin prescription filled yesterday was $87 for 100 capsules. At Chewy and Allivet it would be less than $11 for 120 capsules. At CVS or Walgreens, less than $20. I assumed that Walmart, which was closest to the person picking up the prescription for me, would be comparably and fairly priced. A company as large as Walmart surely has negotiated prices with the pharmaceutical companies. Charging between 4 and 8 times what other pharmacies charge is absolutely deceitful. I resent having overpaid for a very inexpensive generic drug and will never fill another prescription at Walmart. Please do better than I did - check prices first. read more

This is Walmart store #3291 and it's a Big one. It's well stocked with every day items from apples and apparel to zucchini and Zeppelin cds. Normal Business Hours are from 7am till 12 midnight. Most notable departments are their Tire Center, Garden Center, Pharmacy, Photo and Vision Centers. The store offers Redbox, Money Order, Bill Pay, 3rd Party ATM, Rug Doctor, and Minute Key Kiosk. If I could give no stars I would! This store in flanders and ledgwood suck! No one ever answers the phone! I spend hundreds a month on food and stuff for delivery as i have handicap issues. No One ever answers the phone! You call the pharmacy because they do and you ask for a manager and they tell you there is no manager in the store! Why do they have phones if they don't answer! Walmart will be the next to go out of buisness because people will get sick of this crap! They cut the lunch meat orders so thick it's like rubber and you can't call again because they don't answer. If only I could give it zero stars! I had been going to the Flanders, NJ Walmart for years as it's both conveniently located and usually well stocked, but not anymore! When I went in one day last Oct, I noticed that half the self-checkout machines were shut down (I always use self-checkout as I often have multiple orders that I have to carefully keep separate. I haven't stood in a standard checkout line in many, many years). I assumed there was some kind of a glitch, waited patiently until a machine opened up and went on my way. When I returned a week or two later, now Nov with the holiday season fast approaching, I noticed the same 5 or 6 self-checkout machines were still down. Now I knew something was up. I asked the attendant in that area when they would be fixed and received a non-answer. So I went to customer service where the very nervous employee reluctantly admitted that they were shut down per Corporate orders as they thought it would cut down on theft! I expressed my extreme displeasure with this horrendous insult to every customer and asked to speak to the floor manager. The floor manager was very polite and agreed with everything I said but had no means to log my complaint so that it would find its way to the idiots at Corporate. She recommended I go to the Walmart website where I could enter my complaint. Once I got home, I immediately attempted to contact Corporate via their website. All I wanted to do was send an email or fill out a form. I certainly did not want to call an 800 number and wade through a menu to speak with anyone. 20 minutes later I gave up. There was simply no way to contact anyone that manages this awful company! I returned periodically over the next couple of months, but only when I needed just an item or 2. If the line at the self-checkout out was more than 3 deep, I'd just turn around and leave. They never opened up the rest of the self-checkout machines throughout the entire holiday season and into the new year! During one visit where I actually decided to swallow my pride and do some grocery shopping, I was told of the new 15 item limit for self-checkout. It was midday on a Friday and they had only 1 regular register open with a long line. I simply ignored the employee and finished checking myself out. And now I'm done. I will never go back! The takeaway is simple: Walmart hates its customers, all of whom they consider to be thieves and idiots. Avoid this store and any others that treat you this way. It's not worth the couple of dollars of potential savings!! read more

This place is big. They have everything you want. I usually come for oil or bulbs I need for my car. There is a food section. I have never purchased food here. Recently installed a self check out section. That is a huge addition since the lines seem so long in this place. It has helped reduce wait time at the registers. read more

Came here to get a Pit Stop Oil Change for $19.99. Manager comes to me and says that I need synthetic; I told him the manual says that 5-30 petroleum can be substituted. He than has me go look at the tag on the hood, which says "0W-20W", I reached for the owner's manual on the passenger seat and he said, "I don't care what the manual says". I caved, I needed the oil changed. Here's what the manual says: "* Genuine NISSAN engine oil or equivalent * Engine oil with API Certification Mark*1, Viscosity SAE 0W-20*2 *1 For additional information, refer to "Engine oil and oil filter recommendations" in this section of the manual. *2 As an alternative to this recommended oil, SAE 5W-30 conventional petroleum based oil may be used and meet all specifications and requirements necessary to maintain the NISSAN New Vehicle Limited Warranty." They DID NOT check any other fluids, I needed W/W Fluid before I came in and I needed it when I left, it took a whole gallon right after I left the store. They DID NOT vacuum the car; they DID NOT clean outside windshield and they DID NOT check tire pressure - I was at 35 and 36 PSI when I came in and when I left, manual calls for 33 PSI. I doubt that they checked anything that they marked "CHECKED", but they did change the oil - I checked that. All of the above checks and services come with the $44.95 synthetic oil change, or I should say, are supposed to come with it. Oh yeah, they filled it with 5W-20W, not 0W-20. read more

We just spent an hour at Walmart trying to purchase plastic containers. We found what we wanted in the garden center but no one was there to help. We waited and pressed a button for an associate but no luck. Finally we walked to the front for help. The associate paged for someone to go to the garden center. We went back and waited and waited and waited. No one ever came to help us! We left and went down the street to lowes and found what we wanted immediately. One of the most important things during pregnancy is Hygiene. We must always wash our hands, stay away from sick people, etc. To prevent from getting sick. We also use the bathroom ALOT during pregnancy and the last thing a pregnant woman or any woman I suppose, wants to do is go in to a stall with blood of the floor and toilet seat. I don't even blame Walmart 100%, whoever did this should have had the decency to let a staff member know of the mess. Please clean your bathrooms! Online ordering on the Walmart website is problematic and frustrating, because more often than not, the order is canceled by Walmart even if the purchase was authorized by the credit card account of the customer. Then, when call is made to Walmart, the call center seems powerless to resolve the issue....asking to call the SUpervisor is frustrating because they make you wait forever, until you give up! There's no doubt that I'm grateful for a Walmart that's so close to home, BUT this Walmart is terrible. The customer service when returning is horrid. They have one person and a line that just keeps growing. It's not the clerk's fault that she clearly isn't being given the support she needs, but she also looks like she's dragging her feet and I mean dragging. My glasses broke and I decided to go to Walmart vision center to see if they could fix the arm or perhaps purchase a pair of frames and have my existing lenses put in. I arrived at 6:10 only to find upon entering the woman there saying, "We are closing soon" while on the phone. I responded, thinking they were open until 8 and found it was 7. Here it was 6:10. Walmart is such a great value, but I hated the experience so much, I stopped going. Where I'm from, all the Walmart's in a 15 mile radius are AWFUL... Long lines, trash all over (like used diapers, McDonald's food thrown on the floor and so on) disorganized shelves, busy parking lot, packed every hour of everyday. Then I started going to this Walmart in my boyfriends neck of the woods. Been going here for quite a while now and it's such a pleasant experience. Maybe people with nicer Walmart's near them won't think much of it, but to me it's great. Lines are never long. Even during prime times the store isn't crowded. It's clean and fairly well kept. Customer Service is horrible. Long story short... I bought a home theater there and it was a defective one. I called and spoke to someone claiming they were the Department Manager and had to argue to get an exchange, even tho the policy is 90 days to return/exchange, it had only been about 30 days when the product started freezing on me. Then when I got there, that Dept. Manager wasn't there and had to argue again with other department manager. Then had to wait several times for the manager to authorize and "investigate" the issues. Was there for almost 20 minutes and did not even receive and apology for the problem. Will be shopping elsewhere. read more

Half the registers are always closed especially during busy times. The Store is half empty of product, No good produce & One of the worst Walmart's. They don't carry the same products that Hacketstown Wallmart, 10 miles away, does. The 30 something woman at the help desk, for returns, is so rude. She gives you the third degree if you return something. If you don't want us to return product, then don't have a return policy that says we can. I only go there because it's closer than others but the prices have gone up and more than Shopright on many products. read more

My fiancee and I stopped in Friday, September 7th. We were picking up a few essentials, when two very comfy chairs caught our eye. They had no tags, barcodes, or any signs nearby stating their price/name/etc. An overnighter told us to check at the register. Our cashier, Stephanie, was great! She was very friendly and called a manager over to help sort things out. Steven was the gentleman who came over. There was some confusion on pricing them since they weren't in the system. Other associates were radio'd, another manager consulted, etc. The whole time, since there was no one else in line, we just chatted with Stephanie and Steven, and Jeremy once or twice. They were all friendly, helpful, and seemed to have great rapport with one another. Eventually everything got sorted, we bought the chairs, and thanked everyone for their patience. I know it was a bit of a hassle, but we really appreciated everyone's patience and friendliness. Thanks Stephanie! read more

Had a problem with a vacuum purchased in July. The young lady a customer service could not help me, She was polite, helpful, but could not. She tried. Assistant manager Russ would not come out to help me at first. Was told over the walkie that only the manufacturer can replace or repair it. Really? I am or was a very good customer. Looks like poor customer service will send me elsewhere for this type of purchase. Was as if it didn't matter.very poor attitude by managers Josh & Russ. After Assistant Manager Russ told me there was nothing he could do (not even offering help to contact manufacturer). He was following what Co-Manager Josh told him to do. Same indifferent attitude from Co-Manager Josh. I suggested that he'll lose me as a customer, his reply was that of complete indifference. "Sorry to hear that". I cannot believe that a "Co-Manager" would not offer assistance in resolving a problem. Obviously not interested in retaining customers. This day and age, with Amazon and many other ways to purchase merchandise online, without even leaving the comfort of my home, one would think that a manager would be smart enough to "do whatever it takes" to excel in customer service. I avoid customer service at all costs at this location. If I have to make a return I will purposely go out of my way to another location. I disagree with their company policies, but I would be alot less angry if I hadn't been treated with such disrespect and intolerance as a customer. The last time I returned something ( or tried to) it was an expansion pack for a computer game that my 9 year old niece had purchased for herself with birthday money. My first gripe was that by the time we got to the car she had opened the package without letting me make sure she had the right one (yes our fault but she's 9... she was excited). The problem was that she didn't even have the game that the expansion pack was for and my mother in law didn't know any better to say anything. So I took her back inside to return it and they said they wouldn't take it back because I could have uploaded it into my computer and then returned it thus stealing the game. I told her that we just wanted to exchange it for the game, because she picked it out on accident, we hadn't even had a chance to get home (which she could have seen had she taken the time to look at the reciept) and that even if we had, the disc would not load because we didn't have the software to begin with. When I asked for a manager the lady said she was, which is wierd because her nametag said, "associate" and she seemed very self satisfied. The lady next to her just kept saying under her breath "i'm not gonna lose my job over this shit" I don't see why she would, she wasn't taking the product back nor was she involved in the first place. Countless times before this I have waited endlessly in the return line while the associates chatted with each other or purposely avoided eye contact so they could continue what they were doing. I worked retail for years and while I did chat with coworkers I always managed to keep the line flowing while providing unsatisfied customers with a manager. I understand it's your store policy, but hey you don't have to treat me like a piece of crap to get your point across. read more
