extremely bad experience. prescription refill management extremely chaotic. website patient portal design unmanageable. i now have 4-5 logins but still unable to refill a prescription. unable to merge/delete/modify the online accounts. refills either comes way too soon where I had 5-6 bottles on hand, or way too late where I'm out for a week. calling them on the phone mostly works, except when they don't answer the phone which happens half the time. they don't tell you how many refills left, so you can go ask the doctor to renew. they don't send refill request to doctor (or they sent, but somehow doctor didn't get it). i had to call both the doctor and the pharmacy myself for nearly every refill for various reasons. i would switch pharmacy at a heartbeat as soon as doctor found a replacement! read more

I just wanted to ask a question before I refilled a prescription. Called on the phone said it would be a 2-hour wait then they sent me a customer service link on my cell phone and then when I clicked on that it said that this is not supported any longer. Then I went to the website to do a chat and I have been trying to communicate for over an hour and a half with someone just to answer a simple question. They would answer me and then I would answer them and have to wait a half an hour between responses I am still waiting to get this finalized. I received Klarity eye drops through a mail order. it is a terrible bottle to use. Needs improvement. I was told many complain and nothing is done. the drops come out very irregular. too much, or not enough. Please look into improving this. there isn't a Pharma company that uses this bottle because it is so ineffective. read more

Customer service is not good at patient follow up. I was not made aware that I was out of refills,and when I called to have my RX sent I was told about the refill issue. I also said I needed it in a weeks time. No one contacted me at Imprimis once they received RX refill from my doctor. I ordered eye drops for upcoming cataract surgery. They charged me right away even though I said I didn't need them until mid-September. However, customer service was great and got the medication within a couple of days. Unfortunately, the cap on the bottle had been broken during transit, so again, I contacted ImprimisRX to resolve this issue. They are sending me a replacement bottle today to get here tomorrow, no questions asked. So, even though I had problems, the customer service has been great. read more

I am giving a 5-star rating ONLY FOR THE E-CHAT ASSISTANCE I received today from a very patient Customer Service individual, "Ivan". He went above-and-beyond in tracking down my Rx info (renewal) re. Cyclosporine Ophthalmic Drops. Now I have the Rx number, the expiration date for refill, and other pertinent information. Ivan was incredibly professional and patient, and deserves an A++ rating! That being said, I would give 2+1/2 stars to the fact that the woman with whom I spoke at the pharmacy in late March neglected to process this prescription as an Automatic Monthly Refill, as I had requested be done. This has created a hassle for me and the inability to fully utilize the refills within the 12-month period since scrip was written. I needed a refill and it did not come, I called and after a long hold was told that it was not auto ship and script needed renewal. I asked them to contact the Dr and 10 days later after hearing nothing, I called and they had the script sitting there but never contacted me or filled it. Three months later they auto shipped a new refill even though they told me the first time there was no auto refill. I did not order because I became allergic to their product but ended up with it. Their response was"we will review and maybe refund." Less than helpful and unable to reach a person, got stuck with an online assistant who was slow. Not happy. read more

Very poor communication and customer service. Tried for days to get a prescription processed needed asap for burning eyes. FSA payment card declined, no one to talk to for help. Texting for payment, no assistance to complete the order. Told they would ship expedited two days for inconvenience, finally got to pay them, no record that I had that conversation with a representative, or that I paid it days ago, they processed today and shipped, not arriving for a week. The eyedrops I need have to be compounded as it's not an over-the-counter product; I've never had to not be able to go to a regular pharmacy before so this is a new experience. Because of the time of year it is with the holidays and all I cut them a bit of slack, but it did take in my opinion too much time to get the order out. They need to work on working on someone's order quicker than they did in my opinion. It's been a week and a half and because no eyedrops have come as of yet, nor did I receive any correspondence with an order number etc., even after checking my spam folder, I had to go to the website and brought up the chat function. I chatted with a Lekeisha who was very pleasant and easy to work with. She looked up my order by name and other identifying things and easily found it and gave me the information needed to track it as well. It's coming today. She was five star pleasant and very good at her job there. My only complaint with them is the amount of time it takes to get the order out the door and on the way. 9 days I think it was because I am receiving it today. As a medical compounding company, they need to understand that some people (in my case burning eyes) need their prescriptions at a much faster turnaround than what they did. I'll follow this up once I try the eyedrops out after it's delivered today by FEDEX. Hopeful that it relieves the burning. read more

The dispenser design is horrible. They claim it is easy to use because you simply tilt it and don't squeeze it. Well when I do that, I hold It above my eye for two to three minutes with nothing coming out. Or it comes out and hits my face not my eye. I contacted them 8 days ago to ask if perhaps I got a half filled bottle or less, and no one has gotten back with me even though it states that you can reach a pharmacist 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. I used traditional drops on my first cataract surgery and they were so easy to use and effective. Also, insurance does not cover Imprimis and when I contacted my insurance plan to ask why, they said it is because this company is not FDA approved. I think I'm going to run out and have only used them for 10 days and am supposed to use them for 4 weeks. But customer service does not reply to me at all! Terrible. read more

This pharmacy was recommended by my cataract surgeon for the required pre/post surgical eye drops. Seven weeks prior to surgery they were contacted to arrange for the medications. It was requested that the specially compounded meds be mixed and shipped as close to the surgery date as possible. They said they could do that. The meds were shipped out immediately and received the next day. So much for honoring patient requests and doing what they said they would do. When they are called on their "pharmacy" phone line, which by law, has to give patients to ability to speak with the pharmacy regarding concerns or questions, you get a cheesy answering service which merely tells you that they're too busy to answer the phone; and, they'll take a message and maybe the pharmacy staff will call back. They were called twice during normal business to request a refill, and they never responded to the phone calls. The New Jersey Board of Pharmacy will be investigating their professional practices as it relates to patient care. read more
