We ordered the double cheese burger (comes with meat chili, onions, cheese and mustard) and one double hamburger with lettuce tomato onion. The double burgers were 1/2 pound. We also ordered some house made coleslaw. We sat at the one booth and we served very quickly. Our burgers were really good, the burger itself tasted good. The coleslaw was also a big win. We had 2 double burgers, coleslaws and 2 fountain drinks for 22$, great value and great taste. It is a true locals place run by a family. The family pictures on the wall and everyone coming in seems to know the staff. They have a drive through which also keeps them busy. It is not a fancy place but has a family lunch counter vibe. Speedway isn't my typical gas choice, but my options were that or Sheetz, and Speedway was easier to get in and out of. The price was not bad either. If I counted correctly, there were twelve pumps. I liked that there was pay at the pump and tap pay. The pump was slower than others in filling my gas tank. I didn't go inside as there were some questionable folks near the entrance, so I filled up and went on with my journey.

While the receipt printer at the pump did not work, I was still able to run my credit card and get a small "Speedway" discount on my purchase to make it worthwhile. Two wide entrances and a decently large pump area made it convenient. Others pulling boats and such had no problem. I did not go into the store today. It was 10:40 and I wasn't sure if I could get lunch yet. I was aimlessly staring at the menu when the women behind the counter asks, "You want lunch?" She read my mind. I ordered the hot dog combo that came with a canned drink and 3 potato wedges. The hot dogs here usually come with chili, onions, mustard, and ketchup. I asked for no onions and she confirmed with me no fewer than three times, "No Onions?" I appreciated that. I took my meal out to the car and enjoyed. Everything was hot and the chili had great flavor. While it may be sacrilegious, I enjoy ketchup on my hot dog every now and then. The wedges were perfection - crispy outside and soft inside. I wish they were seasoned a bit more. The other things on the hot bar looked awesome, especially the meatloaf and meatballs. I want to go back here!

There is an ABC store in the same parking lot, so if that helps make the stop worth it, it does have that going for it. There's also a Mexican Grill attached to the gas station, which I did not investigate after the sketchy plumbing and unmasked staff--I wanted out of there ASAP.
