Decent sized space that does a good job of incorporating the cool history of the historic building. The menu is diverse and offers choices for both coffee lovers and non-coffee lovers alike. The coffee flights are big - you get six shots of espresso per flight! Good flavors, unique but nothing too crazy. There is also a neat little gift shop with some unique gift items and a large selection of loose leaf tea available for purchase. Definately worth a stop!

This place is CUTE! The outside is just a preview to what awaits you inside. Lots of seating, was very impressed with how many options. They sell merchandise to peruse as well. I ordered 2 strawberry banana smoothies, a blueberry flavored lemonade, and a hot vanilla latte. All drinks were made in a quick amount of time and had rave reviews all around of how great they tasted. I really can't wait to come back and support this great coffee shop! What a cool area, too!

This place is a hidden gem for most people in the Brainerd Lakes area. It looks like an updated diner with big windows that let you watch the airfield. The food is mostly scratch cooking with homemade breads, cinnamon rolls, and desserts. Think classic breakfast and lunch foods that taste homemade for fair prices. I love their egg dishes, corned beef (house made) hash, and their French toast (sometimes made from caramel rolls), and the local Manoomin porridge (thing amazing oatmeal merges with granola.) For lunch, think traditional sandwiches and burgers (which are way above average). For dinner things like meatloaf but also Walleye ans BBQ Ribs which both are supposed to be good (that's second hand info, since I haven't been there for dinner yet. ) Classic and friendly service and fair prices (particularly for an airport or the whole Brainerd area). I ordered an eggs Benedict with a side of bacon and the menu did not list that it came with hashbrowns so I got confused. She gave me ONE chance to understand it before she talked down to me like I was stupid. She seems confused I was ordering bacon with it. The way I was treated felt targeted as she was extremely sweet to the next tables over from us and the other guests I was with. I think she knew because she turned the "nice" factor up to ten afterwards. Otherwise, the food was good. And I enjoyed my side of bacon. But not worth an interaction like that again.
