My mom went in the caribou coffee shop. When she walked in it was Very busy. It was clean though. She got me a hot raspberry green tea with sugar. It was gross. My mom got a vanilla latte she loved it. My dad got a black coffee and he said it tasted sour. Everything was overpriced. My tea was almost 3 dollars. Not worth it. My moms coffee was almost 4 dollars. My dads price was 2 dollars. Would I go to that exact one agin NO!!!!! read more

The service at the Baxter, MN location (on 371) in particular is awful. It pains me to hear the employee chatter while the customer at the counter is invisible. They stand around doing nothing -- or worse -- tapping away on their phones. If there is a manager here, he/she must be invisible, too. read more

Ordered a turkey bacon avocado bagel sandwich to go. Have had this in the past and was quite flavorful with some heat in the sauce. What I got was a sandwich on a little round hard roll(not a bagel), with no flavor at all. Too bad they decided to dumb down this sandwich. read more

It's a Caribou, if you've been to one before you can expect the exact same here, if you haven't, well, what rock have you been living under? But... just in case you're from an area not littered with this particular chain, it's a pretty standard faux local coffee house with an 'Up North' flavor. The coffee is universal across all stores in the chain I've been to, with this particular locale no exception, which is good and bad. Good because if you like it at one place, you'll find nearly exactly what you like to be the same here, bad because there really isn't much variety or experimentation, but that's all in the eye of the beholder. There is many people who say the service is slow and the people who work there seem like they hate their jobs. But I go there every other Saturday with my grandmother I have been going for a bout a year and not once have I ever had any slow service or crabby employees. Personally I think the employees of Caribou coffee are quite happy to see me and my grandmother walk in the door and the longest I've ever had to wait is maybe 5 minutes. Went to this particular Caribou and was not impressed. The girl behind the counter looked as if she really didn't like her job and was just biding her time until her shift was over. I asked if they had a lighter roast coffee and instead of answering my question or giving me options she just pointed to the sign behind the counter and said, that's what we have. Not such a great customer experience. On top of that, the cream container was empty and I had to wait ever so patiently, (NOT!!!) for the girl to again acknowledge me and ask what I needed. I've been to many Caribous coffee places as we do a lot of traveling and this is the first time I would give the place a thumbs down... read more
