I had purchased tires within the last year in Virginia with the road side hazard package, so I thought I was clear to get my tire replaced free of charge. The manager informed me that the previous shop didn't set up my road side hazard package correctly, preventing work to be performed under the agreement in the road side hazard purchase - even though my account showed I purchased the package. Duane, the store manager, explained the situation thoroughly and offered to attempt to resolve the issue personally. He called the VA shop, and my record was updated in 10mins, allowing work to be performed free of charge as outlined in the road side hazard package. Thank you very much for your professionalism and dedication to helping your customers Duane!

The gentleman at the desk let me know about a promotion they had -- $21 for a basic oil change. My car was ready in 30 minutes!! I had planned to wait for 1-2 hours! They recommended changing the air filters and let me know they don't carry them, but I can pick them up somewhere and they will change the filters for me. 30 minutes after I left, i received a text with a link to an inspection they did. This business is now called United Towing & Auto Repair…read more United Towing & Auto Repair put a BAD AFTERMARKET FUEL PUMP in my 2017 Mazda CX5. When I towed my car to United on 5/26/26, United (John) told me a Genuine Mazda Fuel Pump WAS NOT AVAILABLE and I had to get an Aftermarket part. I paid $1109.67 for this Aftermarket part which failed in less than 30 days and I only drive my car 1-2 times per week. On 6/23/26, my car was dangerously stalling out on 278 & Burnt Church Rd and making a loud sound (not drivable). I thought I was going to get killed. Beachside Auto was right there, so I pulled in. Beachside diagnosed the issue right away as the faulty aftermarket fuel pump. They said this is a very sensitive part and genuine parts should be used on Mazda's for compatibility reasons. I guess United didn't know this? Beachside ordered a Genuine Mazda Fuel Pump (which arrived in 1 day), replacing the aftermarket part, and my car's been running great ever since. On 6/29/26, I brought the aftermarket fuel pump back to United to see about getting a refund since I was charged $1109.67 for this bad part. (Note that Beachside's Genuine Mazda part cost was only $880 for the REAL thing). I was willing to negotiate with United on the Labor ($405) since they'd already done the work. United said they'd file a warranty claim and that it'd be after July 4th to get back to me. I asked John how Beachside could get the Genuine Mazda part in a day when he told me they were not available. John tried to defend himself by saying he meant that the Genuine Mazda parts were not available on THAT specific day (i.e., 5/26/26). I can't read John's mind, nor know what he meant to say- I can only act on what he DID say to me that day - that the Genuine Mazda part was NOT available, only aftermarket parts were available. Even if local Mazda stock was all out that specific day, the part could have been shipped from another location outside their local delivery area. (The part is small - about the size of a very small cantaloupe). I returned to United a few days later to follow up on the warranty claim but they needed more time. I requested the $1109.67 part price refunded but John said that was "unlikely". John also called me 7/8/26 to ask me (again) WHY I didn't bring my car back to them for repair; I gave him the same response - that I couldn't trust them. They told me I had to use an Aftermarket part (no Mazda parts available) when Beachside somehow could get a Genuine Mazda part in just 1 day. United's "warranty repair" would have put another BAD AFTERMARKET PART back in my car. Additionally, another statement caused me to question their integrity/accuracy. When I asked about leaving my car outside overnight, John said not to worry because they have a "secure lot" since it's a tow yard. When I arrived on 5/26, no security existed -NO fencing whatsoever, no Rottweiler, n-o-t-h-i-n-g - anyone can walk right into their property. When I questioned that ("secure lot"), it became, "well, we've never had a problem before". On 7/15, I went back to United for their final decison. John told me I will get NOTHING ($0.00) back because I should have TOWED my car back to their garage for their warranty service. United honors the Manufacturer's warranty, in this case = O'Reilly's (where they bought part from). The Manufacturer's warranty states they'll replace the part or refund at their discretion - and only to the entity that purchased it (i.e., United). United's Invoice also states warranty repairs have to be made at their garage. However, if United is only honoring the Manufacturer's warranty, then they would've put another BAD AFTERMARKET FUEL PUMP back into my car since that's all O'Reilly has. Having another bad part put in my car, and endangering my life again on the highway, was NOT an option. United will be made whole by O'Reilly for the part cost, PLUS, get to keep my entire $1614.54 that I paid, including labor markup. This is 100% GREED and an absolute lack of fairness and ethics.

I said ,No,my son has it and he left for Charleston and forgot to take it out there. Just go ahead to advance(which is next door) and purchase one. I already called and they said $159. He(Mr. Watson) out the fuel pump in, called me and said "who told you it was the fuel pump"?. I said"no one.". He said "this car needs a sensor and that will be another $450"?. I said don't put another part in my car. He charged me initially $450 but I asked him to drop it down to $400 because I had to have my cat towed from there. I called the shop today and his son(so he said he was) letting him know they did not replace my fuel pump and he hung up on me. I'm going to give Me. He's not trustworthy and I will prove it with my receipts of things he said he replaced but didn't. Don't do business with this man or you will regret it. We had a very disappointing experience with Johnson Tire & Auto in Springfield, GA…read more We brought our vehicle in because the lights were not working due to an electrical issue. Later we received a call saying the problem had been completely fixed. When we arrived, we paid for the repair and were about to leave when my husband decided to quickly check the lights before pulling out of the lot. They still were not working. He immediately went back inside to let them know the issue had not actually been fixed. Unfortunately, they refused to refund us even though the problem we paid to have repaired was clearly still there. So we ended up paying for a service that did not resolve the issue we brought the vehicle in for. I've honestly never experienced anything like this before. If a repair doesn't fix the problem, it seems reasonable that it should either be corrected or refunded. I wanted to share this experience so others are aware.
