    Hate to dump a one star review but this store doesn't deserve anything else…read more Called ahead before driving up from the south end of the island at night to get a VERY expensive headlanp replacement for my wife's Cayenne. They are readily available at most parts stores. They said they had it in stock and gave me a quote on two different quality levels. So I drove up there and they said that they show one but it must be in the totes delivered from their warehouse that they were too lazy to put away all day. The first guy that helped me was friendly and positive but an idiot. He then told me he was new. BUT he took the time to start looking through the totes for me enthusiastically before he realized there were too many to look through. The other two employees stood there in an empty store looking at me and the computer instead of helping their go worker. They asked me how far I would drive tonight to get one??? Omg. This was the laziest and worst prepared group of employees I've seen in a long time to be responsible for a major chain store of inventory. Do not rely on this Autozone! I just ordered the same Phillips brand lamp as I have originally from Germany for $70 less on Amazon that will be at my door by tomorrow night.

We asked if they could safely dispose of a part that we…read morehad just purchased from them, and instead of answering, five employees stood there staring at us in complete silence. No response, no help, no professionalism whatsoever. It was awkward, frustrating, and honestly ridiculous. We then asked if they could service a vehicle part and were flat-out denied, again with no explanation or effort to help. The level of customer service here is unacceptable. It felt like the employees simply didn't care or didn't know how to do their jobs. I will never use this place again and would not recommend it to anyone. Zero out of five stars. Don't ask for help from Sabrina or Tommy. I think that was their names. A racist and a idiot.

I was impressed that they had a 2008 aveo hatch in stick for less than 7k. I think it's a good buy, I just didn't buy it because it wasn't for me. The guy I dealt with was a refreshing surprise. I don't know what his reasons were, maybe he knew he didn't have anything I really wanted or maybe they are just that low pressure, but he showed me the options that fit what I was looking for, printed me out some information and said thanks for stopping by. I wish for dealerships there was a way to rate the sales people and a way to rate the stock separately because if I could I would rate him at least a 4 for being so easy to deal with. I was in and out in less than 15 minutes and no one tried to sell me anything I didn't want.

Despite the…read moreseeming impossibility of the repair (Stellantis/FCA didn't feel obligated to supply parts for a 2021 vehicle -- it took over a year) and the eventually located part missing some components, they finished it up to my satisfaction. The two service desk employees were always courteous and informative. I discussed the repair with the mechanic and he certainly seemed competent. I wouldn't hesitate to go back here for service, though of course I hope I don't have to.

I have known Kevin for many years now, when I come in working on a project; wiring, oil changes, parts... many parts are in stock. next day usually if they have to order a part for me. Some times when I need something not in the store It becomes an item on the shelf, like my wiring for work truck equipment or my dexos2 oil for my diesel Colorado. I will drive 40 minutes from my house in Port Angeles to shop their store and get ideas how Im going to solve problems on the boat, tractor, trucks and cars I maintain. I don't know what that Karen gave a 1 star for but some people think they are the only ones in the room. I have ever found the staff to be rude or dismissive, maybe you were being a problem and disruptive. I have found with my company difficult people just have to win, Especially when they are wrong. And the gal in Maine seems like there's an issue with Amazon. Ive never had any issues trusting Kevin and the staff at A1. Ever heard of Indian scammers? Many of these issues originate in other countries and innocent people on both ends are the victim of these problems. Saying "never trust this company" is a Karon move. And not being from this area you look like an ass.

    Worst customer service ever…read more Is this what I should expect being that I'm not an "islander"? I was visiting with my Mom, she had trouble getting her car started. So I called a local car parts store in Friday Harbor. They didn't have her battery, but they had said that they would install it in the parking lot if they did. I couldn't wait the extra 2 days for them to have it delivered. So I called NAPA. Chuck answered the phone. He informed me that they did have that battery in stock. I asked him if he could install it for me, he said it was unlikely because he was working there on a Saturday all by himself. Okay, this I can understand. BUT, when I got there, Chuck was one of the rudest people I've ever come across. I asked him if he had a couple wrenches I could borrow, seeing as how he couldn't be bothered (nobody else was in the store btw). He slammed the toolbox onto the counter and exclaimed "here". He would only let me take one wrench at a time out to my Mom's minivan. Finally, with the battery inside the store, he seemed too occupied to come advise me as to where to put it, so I set it down. Several minutes of him standing at the opposite end of the empty store, he finally paid us a visit. But he instructed me that I needed to lift the battery off of the floor and put it on the counter for him so that he could read the numbers. I complied. We got the new battery installed. After which, when I returned the wrench, I said "here ya go". He responded with "thank you Mr. Special". What a D*CK!! I wish I had waited the extra 2 days for the battery from their competitor. Grrrrrrr!! I would recommend to everyone, stay away from this store. Worst customer service experience EVER!!

They maintain their sense of humor no matter the mood of the customer and are extremely knowledgeable about many aspects of DIY repair. Favorite purchase lately: a jump box that I have used three times since I bought it. These guys won't sell you something they don't believe in. Excellent UHaul rental site as well -- I've gotten a big truck there, as well as used the van for a day. Bonus: there's great old golden retriever hanging around, nice to pat while you're waiting.
