    Thee BEST MECHANIC with not only elite skills, but also with extreme professional customer service. I've legit never been treated so well at Walmart on Carson st. Never bad, but NEVER this well.. I tried to get a photo of him but he was camera shy! I needed a battery replacement and was under warranty (so it was an easy fix) but it's early AUGUST, hot as hell, and busy as Well. I was scared when he had to leave since his shift was over but he assured me I'd be ok and he had handled everything.. I was handed off to Feliz. A younger guy who is doing the install . There was another worker that came up who was very nice too. (They are both pictured) handsome and professional!.. what more can a girl ask for?

    DO NOT GET YOUR TIRE INSTALLED HERE!!! They BREAK parts on your car & claim they will reimburse you if you fix them- but then WONT!!! IT WAS A LIE!!!!! I AM LIVID Decided on Black Friday to buy a tire and have it installed at Walmart. $90 said and done NBD. So I make an appointment & head 20+ miles to pico Rivera bc that's the closest Walmart w an auto center. I get there 15 mins early and no one even acknowledged the 5-10 people waiting there until I said something. There was NO ONE there to help us for like 20 mins. Then someone finally came. I wasn't checked in until 11:30 am. Fine, they are busy. They found my tire & put in the back seat (& SAID they notated that- which is important for later) I SHOWED the guy that the pressure was on 20 (the rest were 40). I was replacing a tire w a screw in it. It's in a shopping center w some stores so I go shopping... 2.5 hrs later I check on it and notice it's "on hold" no one called to let me know this, so I called them. The guy on the phone told me that they couldn't change the tire because the Lugnuts were too stripped. TWO AND A HALF HOURS IN THEY ARE SAYING THEY CANT DO WHAT I CAME HERE FOR?! I was LIVID. I'm a NYer so I curse a LOT, & I had some choice words. The guy HUNG UP ON ME!! I stormed over there (I was at a store on the other side of the shopping center) even MORE upset bc the guy hung up on me!!! I talk to another guy, & he says they can't do it bc they COULDNT FIND THE TIRE. Meanwhile, it was IN THE BACK SEAT. When I pointed that out they said "ok we'll fix it now" acting like that's what the problem was I waited another 30-45 mins for it to be changed. The guy comes out and shows me that the lugnut was stripped and messed up, so I guess that was true. But if I KNEW that was the case I would have taken it, & had my mechanic friend do it & given him the the money ‍ anyway, I need to buy a new lugnut, but it's ok w 4 for now. Not a big deal. I pay $30 and leave. I get into my car and my sensor on that tire is now ZERO. Nothing. I thought it was odd so I asked my friend that is a mechanic, and he said that's not normal. I went back in and asked them & they said it should work in a few miles. I drove to the citadel outlets bc they were right there. 5 miles. Still 0. Called them again. They said the mechanic said there was no sensor when he took off the tire??? Impossible bc my mechanic said there was one when he did and it worked fine. And when I came in IT WAS WORKING. I showed the guy 20 psi on my dash (I wish I took a pic ) they said I could get it fixed and they would reimburse. I said how do I know that will be true if i do?! He said the manger already knew about it, that they would. This was either a boldfaced lie or they had no idea what they were talking about. I got it fixed by my mechanic, and he said it was BROKEN OFF in a way that my tire could have deflated at any moment. They put my LIFE AT RISK. I call back and leave a message for the manager, never heard back. I call back again- THE MANAGER SAYS THEY FIX IT THERE AND WONT REIMBURSE??!!! Then why did two people before you tell me that that was how it was done???? I am so mad I didn't get their names!!!! I didn't get anyone's names... but everyone there is a lair, bad at their job or just plain st*pid I got angry and the manager then hung up on me. Because that's what professionals do right? They hang up on customers after messing up their car?! and the funny thing is they only do tires and oil changes... How are you so bad at your job that the one thing you do you mess up?! UPDATE: I complained on Twitter/X & they had me send all the info via DM. took a whilllllle but JUST finally got reimbursed by Walmart corporate!! So THEY made things right, NOT the auto center itself. So if you have a problem- COMPLAIN ON SOCIAL MEDIA!!!!! Still giving a bad review so people know not to go here to avoid the hassle! I'm lucky I have a GOOD mechanic who waited for my reimbursement before I had to pay go to Florin's auto repair in Burbank, instead!!!!

    I'm writing this review before my service is even completed! How I came here for an oil change and encountered Victor and how personable, professional, and honest he is, I'm impressed and grateful he assisted me. Also, Rian at the counter, is speaking to a woman and being honest about what she needs or doesn't need and I just appreciate an honest person not having people spend money hey don't have to when others would. I like it here!!

    The worst. Made me wait 3 hours only to tell me they didn't have my type of oil filter. Didn't even apologize, all I got was attitude!

    Lady is a asshole over the phone, took 30 min on hold I drove by and walked in and their wasn't a line or anything in sight.

    Only shop open at 8am on a Sunday. Super helpful and efficient. They replaced one tire for me

    I brought my vehicle here for many years for routine work mostly out of convenience. What followed…read morewas a long, expensive performance art piece about how many times the same job can be done incorrectly. Highlights: Rack and pinion replaced FOUR times. Not "adjusted." Not "revisited." Replaced. Four. Times. And somehow it still wasn't right. Still feels like I'm driving a haunted house, full of surprises. Alternator replacement done with the flair of a minimalist. As in: the car left with one belt installed on a dual-belt system. Someone decided "one belt is plenty!" it's a bold, eco-friendly statement. Experimental? Sure. Functional? Only if you're into spontaneous roadside adventures. And once I decided to replace the belts myself the tensioner was missing from the assembly. Every time I'd take it in for something routine it'd come out with an additional issue. It's like a subscription box, but for mechanical failures. Warranty work that exists mostly as a concept. Multiple issues that were supposedly covered had to be chased repeatedly, re-explained, and in some cases paid for again just to get the car back. If you enjoy learning the fine art of "following up" on work that was already warranted, you'll feel right at home. The real magic is that none of this was framed as uncertainty or troubleshooting. Each visit came with confidence. Confidence is doing a lot of work here. At a certain point you stop being frustrated and start being impressed. Four rack-and-pinion attempts suggests either: 1. a deep commitment to learning by repetition, or 2. a philosophical rejection of "fixing" as a concept. Either way, I now know more about my car than I ever wanted to, which is great, except I paid someone else to know those things. If you enjoy returning to the same shop repeatedly to fix the same problem while being told this time it's definitely sorted, you'll love it here. If you want your car repaired correctly the first time or even the second time, and have warranty work honored without a prolonged correspondence, I'd recommend literally anywhere else. Including YouTube, a flashlight, and a ratchet set.
