He went on to tell me "no shops will do it". Another lie and by the way as it turned out, they were the only one's who wouldn't fix it. I told them to "forget it, just add air, it will hold until I get home", they refused, sited "the law" again and said that it was 'illegal' to touch that tire which again is a complete lie. Why did he need to remove the tire to tell me this? I thought he "couldn't touch it", so why did he. When I walked out to get my vehicle, I noticed the employee putting the lug nuts on one right after the other in line, tightening them with an impact tool, not in a star pattern which anyone knows is the proper way so the wheel lugs are tightened evenly. The novice then tried to tell me the tire was dry rotted which is a huge lie as there is absolutely zero cracks or damage on any of the tires as I showed him, which the next shop I went to concurred that their is no dry rot. 6 months ago they tried to sell me a battery which was the wrong one and was 40% more than a more recognized and reputable dealer. A year before that, they damaged a lug nut post on my wifes cars, again, we had to take it to a more credible auto center to have it fixed but which I was there, a lady sitting beside us said they damaged a tire pressure sensor and that cost her $104, a conversation I'll never forget. So why did I go there again? I came out of a business near by and noticed a low tire, figured surely they could handle patching one tire, nope, they wanted to sell me a set of 4, and by the way, they are the most expensive tire repair from Crestview to Chipley but don't take my word for it, ask them how much, them call a few others. Funny thing, they sell tires that are 4 years old but won't fix one beyond 6. Most people get flats around 10 years apart. That's some window of repair. Based on that, why say that you repair them at all. Bottom line, go there, do business but take lots of money, expect trouble, and to get fitted with new tires which have sat on their shelves for several years, then, everytime you get a flat, plan on buying a new one so you can be the one who's keeping them in business, not me.

On our way back home to Indiana our Alternator AND battery quit working. Mind you this is on a Friday at 4pm!! Luckily, we broke down at the Hideaway Bar and Grill in Bruce Fl instead of half a mile in either direction. The closest place for a repair was Wrench It Tire and Auto. I have AAA, but they would only tow to an approved dealer 35 miles away, and they were closed until Monday by the time our van would have made it there. I decided to call Wrench It Tire & Auto to let them know my situation. I talked to Heather (Josh's wife), who told me she would talk to her husband (Josh) to see if they could do anything for us. She said they would be willing to stay later that day to ensure we got back on the road that night! They appointed me as a fantastic tow driver(Larry) for a reasonable price. He had terrific hospitality! I knew we were in great hands when he told me about himself and the people who work at Wrench It. Josh confirmed it was the Alternator and battery. He said he could call his other tech to grab the part from a store that was 30 minutes away and start working on it. They worked on the van until it was past 10pm! They got her all fixed up and back up and running. They had so much patience because we didn't have nearly as much money for the parts and labor on one payment form, so they helped us use multiple different payment forms. I can't express how grateful our family is for this shop and the people who run it! If you're anywhere near Ponce De Leon, Florida area and want to make sure your vehicle is adequately taken care of by personable and caring people, then you NEED to come here! I wish they were in Indiana so I could go here whenever I need help with our vehicles! Again, thank you for all your hospitality and for ensuring my family made it home safely. I had my son contact corporate and they stated they had to as it was under warranty. Corporate was helpful and contacted Triangle and made them service it. Parts had to be ordered and an appoint was set to replace it. Of course to punish him they made him wait 2.5 hours before they even started to service it. This was an obvious payback. They have a captive audience and take advantage of their customers. I am surprised that they are still in business. I didn't rate them as 1 star as the warranty service is being performed at the direction of corporate, but I would never do business with them voluntarily.
