Anyway, I had a big road trip from east to west coast Florida. I called another 4-5 star place for an oil change appt. They never got back to me. Time running out before the trip, I took a chance here. Even worse...I was going to try a walk-in. Believe me, I saw the poor reviews and was nervous. But my former gf's grandma is a happy long-time customer. Well, I'm glad I came in. Lucked out, and they weren't too busy. After a quick chat with Brad, he rush-ordered the special oil my Dodge Challenger (SRT with scat pak), got the beast in the bay, and they went to work immediately. I know it's hard finding a good auto shop and everyone may have different experiences, so I wanted to document my great experience here. Brad also said as of three years ago, it's new management, so maybe that helps. Finally, treat the people there as the specialists they are, and hopefully you'll have a good experience too.

I want to talk about a phone call I had with Matt. Before I do, a little about me... I know…read morenothing about cars. Actually I know less than nothing. My husband dealt with everything when it came to our cars. When he died, I was screwed. I called Honest-1 because my car would not start. Matt was absolutely the most amazing calming person I ever spoke to. He took care of everything. Of course I go back out in my car starts. I am bringing my car in - at least I don't have to get it towed ... and Matt gave me a little advice. Apparently if you drive your car less than 50 miles a week it's really bad for your battery. When taking it to another mechanic, he told me that my oil was really dirty considering that you just recently did the oil change two weeks ago so that wasn't something I would want to hear. Not to say my car needs the work, (because before you even started the work, you gave me a car fax report on all the issues which i thought was "pushy". I think you could've done a better job addressing the reason for my initial visit....oil leak - not the other (100) reasons.

This place does exactly what it tells you they're gonna do. Like all auto shops they may find…read morethings wrong with your car that you were unaware of but they don't just do them and say you owe us. They take pictures, document it and give you an estimate of what it would be to fix. They have no problem if you say you don't want something done. Very easy to deal with. Expensive but honest and straightforward.
