When my wife picked up her car a low oil pressure light came on. Immediately took it back as the oil was at a safe level. Lake Erie told us that the oil pressure switch went bad and needed replaced for $601. I got a second opinion from a local mechanic. I was told the oil pressure switch is not bad. The check engine light has now come on and reads something about a timing issue. What would cause all this to go wrong from a simple oil change? I feel lake Erie needs to take responsibility for my vehicle it wasn't broke before it went in. I don't recommend this garage.

I called and was told by a technician with 20 years experience those marks don't matter your tires are balanced. Yes they are with weights put on the outside of brand new rims. If tires were mounted correctly there may have been no need for wheel weights. There was no consistency on the install and even one of the tires was installed backwards. Its just sad when people cant own up to their mistakes and would rather lie to you. LUCKY IT WAS ONLY TIRES I guess.

They Called this morning asking if I could leave the car there so they can do it whenever I guess...not on my scheduled appointment. I told John, the manager, no. That we would bring it in and wait. He told me no price. At all. So take the car there they did the tires and then charged hundreds telling my boyfriend (who took the car in) that he told me it was this much on the phone when he called in the morning. Well he was sitting next to me when he called on speaker phone so he knows no price was discussed. So not only is JOHN CAMPLESE a liar but he charged me more than the tires actually cost to install them...while toting "free balance and rotation" as part of the package that we didn't ask for but when John Camplese was told we were upset with the dishonesty and price gauging when we took the risk to get there in a blizzard he then told us we are never welcome back there. I will be back for my free balance and rotation and if he doesn't like it he can talk to his boss cause he is being contacted. Monro owns them btw. Customer service is awful. He called and screamed at my BF...what garbage this place is. As is the manager. So much for the customer being right. Don't go here. We did cause nothing else was open and they took complete advantage.

They didn't put the screws on right or stripped them and the plate came off while my wife had over a 4hour car ride. While I had to wait about 10 minutes for my car to be serviced, I was offered a water and the time moved quickly. It is important to note there was only one person working and two cars in before me. The gentleman who serviced my car was beyond courteous and explained my options to me very well. The entire transaction took less than 10 minutes. He even offered me Capri Sun after! I explained what happened, they replaced the crush washer on my oil pan drain bolt (Hogan and Sons just didn't replace it) and topped me off with 2.5 quarts of 0W20 (that's a lot of oil to lose in 24 hours!) AND - they fixed my hood latch with a ziptie (since Hogan and Son broke that too!) Highly recommended. Thanks guys!
