I would give a lower rating for the over all experience. Yet, the gal (Tiffany) working the front desk was super nice and had great customer service skills. I went to this location for an oil change. I made an appointment and came in 45 minutes early. They said come back 5 minutes before my appointment. They were super busy and were missing some of their staff. So, I figured about an hour or so. The app notified me the car was checked in at 3:38pm. They checked it in and never did anything! I came back a fee times and checked in on the status of the oil change. The hood wad up and I thought they were working on it. It turns out that they hadn't started anything more than an hour later! I was calm but not happy!!! I spoke with the manger John and asked him to check what was going on. He was gone for a while. There really wasn't an explanation. Nor was there any excuses. He said that it was a mess up. By the time they finished... it was almost 5pm! I was hoping the manger would try to do something. Some type of discount or something. He simply said that it would be done in 20 minutes. This was after I asked if he could do anything. I finally had to ask if he could do some type of discount due to the circumstances. I hate as a customer, that I had to ask. You would think they would step up and take the initiative. Which almost never happens! I was not charged for the oil change. Which was nice but I was still not happy. I had another appointment afterwards. Which I wasn't going to make. At least a technician that did my oil change apologized. Which I was expecting at all. Hopefully will do better in the future. Not sure if I will go to this location again. read more

HORRIBLE MANAGER!!! My battery, (that I have a three year warranty on and is still valid) died. I had to jump it 4 times in 24 hours. Got there and a young gentleman tested it and told me it looked low but he needs to talk to his manager. The manager came over, looked at my battery and asked "is this a Walmart battery" and I said yes. He saw the warranty on the side and told me that my battery was perfectly fine and that it must be an alternator problem, but I just got my alternator replaced. I went to 2 separate places to check about what the issue was. Both places informed me that my battery is completely dead and that the Walmart Antioch location lies to avoid honoring the warranty that I paid extra for. I ended up going to the Walmart, Pittsburgh location, where they replaced my battery very quickly and honored my warranty. I highly recommend the Pittsburgh location instead. read more

During my long wait time, I found out I don't have to wait, simply pull my car in number 1, wait there. When the time I went back out, already 3 cars on the line. Went to Walmart to get a tire fixed my husband had actually placed a little patch so we could literally make it to Walmart too. Get the tire fixed the right way. I was in the car behind my husband because I was just gonna bring him back home when the tires being fixed because they take for so long my husband told him what was going on and then he put a little plug So we could make it to Walmart the guy starts yelling that they don't fix tires that have been worked on if it was done we wouldn't have been there in his car and I'm in the car behind him still the young guy that was given us this info said now get your white ass out of here.. he didn't realize my window was down !! Went here for an oil change already knew I had past damage to my skid plate got it reduced before coming here and had it dragging on the way back due to them losing my bolts . Although the price was the best in the area for an oil change, time is money. I was told it would be no more than an hour, so we dropped off the car and did our shopping at Walmart. When we came out, my car was parked in the exact same spot and had not been touched yet. I understand these things take time, especially on a busy Saturday, but not when the workers are all standing around talking "taking a break". Came here for a battery but what a huge mistake that was. I figured it would take a half hour hour at the most. Oh my God I think I was in there for decade or more. The problem is they have only one lane which does everything tires, oil change and batteries. Instead of having 2 lanes one doing oil changes and batteries and the second one tires. They are undermanned and when there's a sale on something it's crazy. Avoid this place like a nun would avoid a prostitution house. Walmart and their customer service sucks. Went to buy a battery after checking online if they had it. Got to the store and the lady in automotive, she looked on the shelf and said I don't have any in stock and walked away. Instead of checking her system to see if they had any in-stock, (because there was a huge pallet of batteries right behind the shelf) So then I asked if she could check another Walmart and seemed annoyed. After announcing to other customers waiting in line to pick up their vehicles that she was on the phone calling another store for me. Battery didnt start. Got a jumper from autozone and came back and they couldnt replace my battery cuz of corrosion with green stuff puffing out. Took it to walmart. Waited in walmart and one tech couldnt do it but another one finally did with some voodoo magic after saying they had to replace a terminal. Happy i don't have to take it to a shop despite all the wait time. At the counter the sales / Register lady proceeds to tell me that They are All out of Pennzoil High Mileage oil in the SHOP / Change Area , and if I still want the pennzoil high mileage oil they have to get off the shelf in the store ( which is right by the counter of where I'm standing ) and the price goes from $35-$45.. with Know Real Explanation as to why ?? So then a manager was asked for ... and he was pretty much saying the same thing that if they going to get it off the shelf it's gonna cost me shelf price versus in the shop price because there is a difference and I was explaining it's not my fault you have it advertised on your board for this price but now you tell me I have to pay more because you have to walk inside and get off the shelf I still don't understand at all while the same time if I wanted full synthetic oil it was a dollar cheaper..... Obviously writing a review won't affect any of the management for the Auto center but it's worth warning people not to waste their time. Online it says they are open until 7pm. This is the 2nd time they've turned away my fiancé for service before 7pm. The first time they said they stopped doing tires at 5pm. He made it a point to show up before that and what do you know they all of a sudden stop doing tires at 4pm. Such bs but I guess you can't expect much from Walmart. read more

It was Friday afternoon after work, i notice my tire was low in air. When i turn on the engine the tire warning lit up. I brought it to the nearest gas station for a check up and was advise to change my tire for there was a nail. They are changing me more than $200 for 1. I just put air so i can go home. This Walmart is close to my house so I gave it a shot. I was there before 6 and told the guy to check my tire, at first he said just come back tomorrow for it is almost closing. I never gave up. I've been going here for close to 4 years without an issue. I know it usually takes awhile so I always come 6-7 hours before close because of the high volume in this location and the consistent call outs they have. I came in 6 hours before they closed today. Stood in the back of the line behind 2 other people. Kim shouts across the line to ask if I'm here to get a service. I said yes. She then says "we can't do any services. WE HAVE 20 CARS. If you want your car services you need to come earlier". The price point is great, which is why I come here. And they offer a large variety of services. But it's not being treated like you are stupid. And it's not right to talk to customers like that. They're job is stressful, and having multiple call outs only makes it worse. But you should never talk to someone who is patiently waiting in line like that, especially talking from a distance over multiple people in line. Not only do I have to take that from Kim, but then the entire staff and line of customers stare at you, which is embarrassing. Until there is staffing turnover, I wouldn't recommend coming here. After reading the reviews on their yelp, this is the 3rd bad review for Kim. Maybe it's time for someone to take action. read more

Very Rude and bad Customer Service at this location! We Went into Walmart Auto Center to save some time and buy synthetic oil for my car. When we got to the register the woman by the name of KIM was busy chatting with people and kept moving from register to register. Because the bottles we had in our hands were heavy and we didn't know which register we were going to be helped at, we finally placed them on the middle counter and waited patiently as she kept taking customers scattered around the registers. When it came to our turn, she simply IGNORED us and went straight to ringing up a customer who came after us, who also told her that we were next! When we told her that we were here first and waiting, she simply kept ignoring us and saying that the guests before us were here for hours. She just rang up the customer behind us who walked over 2 min ago, with no apology as if she was the Owner or Walmart Stores. As you can see the customer service level at this location is clearly not worth your time to waste. I Do Not recommend going here for your oil changes or to simply pick up a few bottles for your car because the staff here has 0 level of customer service and you will have to wait hours to even be acknowledged!! read more

I've been a regular customer at Walmart in Antioch for oil change service, but last August 4th, I am disappointed with the mechanic. I waited for more than 2 hours to get my honda car oil service, but when I came back to pickup my car, the guy at customer service told me that my car wasn't serviced due to the knob is loose thread, so that mechanic didn't serviced. I'm very disappointed and my time was wasted because they haven't called me to inform about it so I can pickup the car soon. Also, when serviced my car at the other place there wasn't any problem with the knob. Not so good with the mechanic and the automotive manager at Antioch Walmart. read more
