We were in the area and decided to drop by this Walmart as my kids wanted to take a look at toys. Shelves were pretty organized. You could easily find what you need. This location was recently renovated and the changes look great! They now and large visible Channel Letters inside the store to help customers find their way around. They now have self checkout as well as a few more serviced checkouts than before. read more

Manager at Walmart Supercentre (AJAX store) is not knowledgeable about the Scanner Price Accuracy Code. It is not about the $10 discount price but they do not know what they are doing. Worst store I've been. Please let them have a training about this code. read more

I recently purchased a Betty Crocker mixer from the Ajax store, when I opened the box a few days later I realized that the appliance was way smaller than I wanted and so I decided to return the product for either an exchange or refund. I unfortunately misplaced the bill and when I got to customer service was told that I could no longer return ANY item without a bill, even if the item is un-used and in its original packaging. I fully understand that there are SOME items that businesses would not want to accept for a return and especially at a time like this, but in this case, I find it ridiculous. Before the Covid 19 pandemic, if you made a purchase at a Walmart store and was not satisfied with the item, you were allowed to return it and they would refund you your money with a bill, or give you a credit on most items if you misplaced the bill, even if it was a purchase from one of their other stores (this also applied, to my surprise, even on perishable food items). Since the pandemic, UNLIKE most of the other businesses around, they have stopped most returns and exchanges. Walmart does not offer their customers any better service, or prices than most of their other competitors, not to mention that with all of the renos they have been doing in most of their stores, they have in fact become more expensive than some of the other businesses. This is a time when businesses should be trying to hold on to their customers, not drive them away, that said, I would most definitely NOT be spending my money at Walmart going forward. read more

This Walmart is very disorganized. The other day I went to buy a pack of diapers which I though was 23 dollars but there was two price tags under the box of diapers. The cashier expressed to me the I wasn't going to be sold the product for the price listed and that I have to read the tags for the description of the product. In my opinion if there's a price under a product then it's for that product. I don't work there and know how to read the price tags. read more

I found this location to be very decrepit I haven't been in the store I quite a long time .... the bathrooms were filthy .... the floors were filthy and it was very disorganized. I will definitely not be shopping at this location again until they get some staff that are going to take care of the store. I rather pay more money and shop somewhere where everything you pick up isn't dirty. read more

Wow renovation didn't change this place much! The place is still as messy as ever and counters are empty. Customer service is as bad as before renos... they should try and renovate their staff. And don't get me started on the checkouts..... self serve... self bagging and self find it yourself....taking my business elsewhere! read more

Came here to have a tire replaced that was under warranty. I had the receipt in hand and was told that I would probably have to pay for it because it was a manufacturers warranty. (which it clearly wasn't) After waiting for about 45 minutes I was finally able to speak with the Manager who confirmed that it was covered by a WalMart warranty. I was also told by one of the Auto Department attendants that he couldn't help me because his shift was ending in 15 minutes. The Mr. Lube staff at the location were much easier to work with. read more

This store is a joke. Flyer came out this morning and what was advertised isn't available online or in store. They never had the stock at all. Store hasn't even opened yet and no product. False advertisement seems to be common with Walmart. Manager wouldn't check other stores so apparently I'm supposed to drive all over the province checking stores. The excuse was the flyer was printed 3 weeks ago. So? If you don't have the stock don't send out the flyers saying you have stock. You should have discounted what you do have to the sale price of the unit you falsely advertised. I'll be in store complaining every chance I get till you fix this problem. Quit lying to your customers or you won't have any. read more

This location is particularly smaller and always packed with people. The aisles are tight and there isn't a huge selection of products compared to other stores. But if you just need the basics then it'll do. Plus you can't go anywhere else and get better prices. read more

My boyfriend and I were absolutely revolted by the condition of the womens and men's bathroom in the Ajax Ontario. The abhorrent conditions show a fundamental lack of respect for their customers. There was urine on the walls, the sink was clogged and wouldn't drain, the feminine container was over flowing and the service log on the wall indicated that no one had tended to the washroom since mid August. The management of this Wal-Mart clearly has zero interest in the health or comfort of the same customers that keep this place in business. I won't be shopping here again read more
