If you didn't know her work, it's the most fun, colorful and happy art at the intersection of Impressionism, portals and optical illusion, where you squint your eyes and each segment of color is like a pixel in a tapestry of interwoven color and texture. The vibe was amazing ing and I just had to go see this art and support this artist. I arrived and found an entire treasure trove of fascinating art by dozens of artists. Each style is unique and well worth coming by. Imagine walking through a museum of the most amazing only talented artists and all the art is for sale. I bought two pieces. One of Shiri's of course. The art is reasonably priced and there are many different sizes. I highly recommend Artspace Warehouse for some of the best talent in the L.A. art world. The staff is wonderful and extremely helpful and full of knowledge about each and every artist, the types of art and our chats were so chill- no pretentious vibes here. Just joy. This was really a thrill to see locals, families choosing art for their homes, and people like me who came a bit of a distance to share the art experience here. This is a review for an online purchase…read more I waited 7 weeks for my items to ship. At first, communication was sparse and not helpful. Didn't say much beyond "Yea. It's taking a while" When I finally received my items, a whole print was missing. I bought three things and so a third of my order was not received. Communication was much better at that point and I was given a refund for my shipping and the item I didn't receive (obviously). I wasn't sent the item I ordered. I wasn't offered a replacement. Just a waste of my time. They have a lot of cool art and the products I did receive were nice. But. Waiting 7 weeks and not even getting what I ordered... I would not suggest purchasing anything from them online.

Pros: -free parking lot. If by any chance that lot is full, there is 2 hour free street parking directly outside of the parking lot. I visited on a Friday a little after 2pm and parking was still available in the lot -the Yoshimoto Exhibit was in two different sections. One was in the main area by the gift shop area and the other you had to exit the building and walk through the garden (that is where the large painting is on display) -the exhibit was free! They do have a little gift shop area where you could purchase things like books, tote bags, hats and postcards. Cons: -none! Overall, an enjoyable experience. Because there weren't descriptions of the art pieces, my visit was brief. However, glad I got to see this exhibit.

The gallery itself is stunning, both inside and out. The works directly relating to the film were good, but what we really appreciated were the other paintings on display. Besides Hockney's "The Little Splash", it was wonderful to see Eric Fischl's "Barbecue", a painting I have long admired but never thought I would get a chance to see in person. Other standouts for me included paintings by Calida Rawles, Paul Sietsema and Friedrich Kunath. They were also different, but so intriguing. Parking was easy and reasonably priced - $10 behind the building. I look forward to seeing future exhibits.
