On time, easy communication, and solid work…read more John and one of his partners, Richard Kiney, came to my unit to fix a very worn window sill about a month ago. The solution to resolving the problem took a bit of creativity, but they were able to fix it so that the window is now fully functional and the problem is solved. John was the person I most communicated with and Richard did the work, but together as a team they solved the problem in one day (versus two, which we originally expected). They were on time for the consultation and the actual work. Richard also went above and beyond cleaning up after the job was done by bringing materials and scraps down to our alleyway. I'm addition we had to hang a new chandelier and Juan did that for us as well - removing the old and installing the new! Juan's communication throughout the entire process was excellent, he came day before scheduled job to set up and lay cloth tarps over floors and covered our staircase entirely. His crew was right on time the day of drywall repairs - they spent the entire day plus a little more repairing all the major cracks, nail pops, trim work. The paint crew was the same - arriving on time , being careful about safety, cleanliness and our children (we have two toddlers that were here during the process) Juan engaged in personal conversation, making us feel comfortable and was very friendly - same with the crew that he has. The project was completed and cleaned up in two days and it was A LOT of work. We had other quotes and we felt that Juan was very honest, competitively / fairly priced and again had excellent communication ensuring all his customers are happy. Nick stopped over to have a look and put together a quote. The price was more than fair as compared to others who quoted us, especially after he said it included all supplies and paint. After checking on his reviews here and elsewhere, we decided to hire Nick and move ahead. Nick and his team showed up at the date and time scheduled. After setting up, everyone left for other worksites except for the guy Nick had assigned to do the work here. Removing wallpaper is a miserable, messy task but he did a great job, and went around and fixed the problem areas after. Nick uses Sherwin Williams superpaint and we were really happy with the result and coverage. (Nick also has cards at the local Sherwin Williams store, which was a good sign). It was nice hiring someone local and working with Nick and his crew was totally painless. The dining room looks great and the cost was excellent.
