This is one of the better GameStop locations, in my opinion. The store is well-stocked with a large selection for all of the contemporary platforms. In addition, it is organized well. What I believe makes the difference in this location is their choice of staff. Their staff are kind, courteous, helpful, polite, and involved. This cannot be said for all locations, and this is why I choose this one. The personal touch is truly appreciated. Prices are on par with what you'd expect. However, there is value in this place versus shopping online, in my opinion, given the wonderful staff.

Unsure of the specifics, but eventually this location in the American Dream mall came to be. Upon hearing it, I decided to take my son here and his reaction was the same as mine - 'eh'. As much as TRU was mismanaged and didn't hire the best in store employees, I always was saddened that kids and future generations wouldn't have this place around, so I always rooted for a return with hopefully lessons learned. I was happy upon hearing that there was one here, but indifferent once experiencing this. I get it that for some the nostalgia might outweigh all the cons here, but simple nostalgia wasn't enough for me to overlook all the negatives here. While it was fairly well stocked and the shelves were full, the stock in general is outdated (at least the sections we checked) - meaning you'll find some things that were relevant/popular maybe 3+ years ago, but not as much for current. Maybe it changes for the holidays, but for the time we went, it wasn't all that great. So if you're looking for the latest, you're likely not to find that here. The prices were what they were. There are two floors here, but both floors are not the same size and the first floor seemed to have less 'toys' than the second floor. There were several employees here, but we had zero interactions with anyone. There are some spots on the outside for the kids to take pictures with Geoffrey statues. Again, this is located in the American Dream mall - so if you're going to the mall, then coming here is probably worth it but if this was a stand alone, then it wouldn't be. Again, this is worth going to just go at least once - but if you're expecting TRU of old, you won't find that here.

They facilitate selling, buying and trading of cards. There are also some store branded hat and t-shirts at the store. The store is very clean. Cards are behind glasses. Prices seemed decent, since I don't have much experience buying or selling them, but I know those cards go for hefty price, especially if they are autographed. There's a bunch of cards for Tom Brady of course, among others. All sales are final at this store. They have bunch of cool items behind the register as well. Multiple associates help out customers with quick checkouts.

Then there were the decisions on the color schemes for the bar of soap and the choices of fragrance. It was so much fun! The best part was when the soap bars have set, and they were unveiled from the mold. The soap bars all came out so beautifully. This is a fun activity for both young and old. I arrived Wednesday evening to pick the prints and was told scornfully "I told you Thursday or Friday" . The man was not only wrong but very combative in his tone and language. I can understand if the prints were not made by the set pickup date but I can not understand the need to act defensively and the attempt to shift blame onto me, the paying client. The man told me I could come back Thursday and I asked if he was positive and he confirmed. He said he would text me when they were done and I left. I walked in Thursday afternoon and the man said "you're here to pick up the prints aren't you, I told you Thursday or Friday and that I would text you". He wasn't apologetic he was annoyed. I countered he confirmed they would be ready Thursday and he became even more argumentative and dismissive. Regardless of the pick up times that were argued, this is extremely poor customer service. I paid in advance for a service which was not rendered in the agreed upon timeframe and instead of being accommodating or at the least kind about it I was met with contempt and made to feel like I was an annoyance. This is inexcusable. Please do yourself a favor and avoid this place.
