They painted the entire inside of my house when I remodeled, and the outside about one year later. Their prep work was meticulous. They even covered all my plants. The crew was neat and courteous and worked diligently for 5 days and completed the job ahead of schedule. I have neighbors who used other companies and their jobs dragged out for weeks. And the other painters did not power wash or apply 2 coats of the elastomer paint. And to top it off, Jones Painting offered the best price of my 3 bids.

They did NOT! I had over spray on a couple of my large bushes such as "rose of sharon" and "Lilac bush" and strawberry plants. After starting to paint they then told me the gutters would cost more, the railing on the front porch would cost more! These things should have been brought up and included at the time of the bid and they were NOT! The girl that answered the phone and scheduled the job was probably the ruddest person I have ever talked with in a public company! We have had 3 houses painted in california and oregon and after painting they always washed the windows. This company did not. Now I have to hire the windows washed AGAIN! Only time will tell on the actual paint on house. I would recommend that if you want to use this company, make sure everthing is mentioned in the contract when they come out to do bid. Have it in writing!!!!! Make sure there's not HIDDEN costs!

Upon entering small bath to be painted I gave them 2 cans of paint: one for walls and second for door frame and I showed them what needed painting: walls, door frame. Dennis agreed and In bid I stated 'no doors, ceiling or baseboards needs painting'. After 2.5 hours ( they did a great job on walls- were clean and left no mess) but the door frame was not painted. When I asked Dennis about it he said in the bid I put 'no baseboards'. We went back and forth and he agreed to return to paint door frame for another $150! I declined. My suggestion would be to get a contract clear and concise in writing from these guys! I learned afterwards, they are employees of Tahoe Paint, but the owner allowed employees to take side jobs on the holiday utilizing the company equipment. This explains too why they only accepted cash.

Before leaving, they asked me to inspect their work in case they missed a tiny detail and that they would be able to correct any tiny details the next time they come by. I have not heard a word from either one of them since they left here they have not answered my calls. No that they returned the call. I paid them in full They ripped me off. Job, incomplete, and poor.
