All I wanted was to understand why he and the secretary on the phone kept saying it was illegal to provide me with the information to either have him paid or be reimbursed. I also wanted to know how was I supposed to submit a claim to my insurance company to get reimbursed for his services if he, or this mystery owner, were claiming it was my responsibility to complete and submit all necessary information on my own if they were refusing to provide the needed information to do so. I don't understand why they would refuse payment in full from the insurance company or allow me to be reimbursed after I paid for his services. Regardless of all that I had paid for the doctor's services by money order to ensure that Dr. Candido was paid for his services. I even had payment in full for the services he was to provide on March 8, when he neither showed up or called to the appointment. I don't understand why "the owner" would force me to see another provider while not even considering allowing Dr. Candido and I to see what could be worked out as he promised. He and the secretary promised to work with me, and she said he would take good care of me. He was exceptionally nice, put me at ease, and patiently explained everything to me. It's been so hard finding providers like that. It's unfortunate when the care is eliminated from healthcare and providers no longer care about patients but how they get their money no matter what the consequences for the patient. Such as refusing to allow me to be reimbursed and paying them in cash or, as I had, by money order. That's just plain heartless and really seems to be the norm rather than rare. AND ACCORDING TO ROMEDENTAL.NET I WAS GOING TO BE OVER CHARGED FOR THE NEXT APPOINTMENT!!!

Drove an hour and a half to get there and was then told the consult fee is $498. Office staff had no explanation as to why I was told differently aside from X-rays (which I just had a week ago so wouldn?t need again). I heard they upsell and I should?ve listened before wasting all that time and gas and taking 1/2 day off from work. Scammers.

Very upsetting and unprofessional experience…read more I went to Aspen Dental with a treatment plan already discussed, expecting to move forward step by step. However, when I went in for my appointment, things were not clearly communicated ahead of time the way they should have been. I was in the chair, being numbed, and it was only at that point that it became clear they were going to do THREE root canals in one visit. That is a very invasive procedure, and it should have been fully explained and confirmed with me beforehand -- not while I'm already in the chair and committed. The dentist also seemed very rushed, which made the entire situation even more stressful and gave me a lot of anxiety. It felt like things were being done quickly rather than carefully, and that added to how overwhelmed I felt. The numbing process itself was extremely rough and painful. I was visibly and audibly uncomfortable, and instead of slowing down or checking in with me, the dentist continued. I felt rushed, overwhelmed, and like I didn't have a real chance to process or make an informed decision before such major work was done. There was a serious lack of communication and care throughout the entire visit. I left in tears and in significant pain. No patient should feel that way after a procedure like this. I will not be returning, and I strongly recommend others make sure everything is clearly explained and agreed upon BEFORE sitting in that chair.

I was finally called in at 3:25. The Office Manager apologized. When I asked her why they did not tell everyone waiting that it would take so long, she said I could have rescheduled and left. I told her that was not a proper response. Some of us work and although I understand that their business model may call for back to back scheduling, they should be more professional and let people know they are over 15 minutes behind so that we can decide in a timely manner if we are going to stay or not. She also acknowledged that this was not the first situation like this.

I wouldn't go there again, ever.
