Well, while I was a bit off put; it was a relief in the end. I contacted Phipps office and had the best receptionist a person could ask for. Not only did they get me an appointment fairly quickly they were super nice in doing so. The whole office has been updated and super clean. Fast forward to today and I am glad to report I got one of the best & most thorough cleaning's I've had in a long time! Kudos to the hygienist for being so detail oriented and professional. It's a laid back atmosphere while right on schedule - no drama. It may be a drive for me to get to Auburn, but worth it.

The temporary crown was perfect as well as the permenant crown, as usual, absolutely no problems. I've had many teeth cleanings, cavities filled, and crowns and I cannot rememeber even one issue. (And I'm 24) As a younger patient that was already sketched out by dentists I decided to go here only because my mom told me these were decent people . Overall coming to the office has been complete hell from day one although the doctors are fairly nice and same with the hygienists. I had to play phone tag for over a day trying to get ahold of these people wondering why they would not answer . Eventually I got through after Jen saying please hold and hanging up multiple times like a child . I finally was like just please give me refund ! Dear Christ man . If you guys don't want me as your patient that's fine especially after I already gave you guys 5,000. I feel like a response or email is sufficient to tell the patient you don't want to serve them . I tried to ask Jen for the tooth she told me that she threw it away , then I still had to hassle her about a refund .But to act as if I'm in the wrong when you have my permanent tooth and money for a unfinished job is ridiculous. If you wanna be treated like trash while paying top dollar come here by all means but don't be shocked when similar things happen... I wish I could show the phone call recording on this to show foul they are as well ... but anyways dont go here or do you'll regret it . They are also very sensitive about the work being done in the office so if something is done improperly you're probably not wrong but these people won't admit to their faults. This is due to childhood trauma. Due to this I had severe dental issues. I had been going from dentist to dentist trying to find the right fit. Per my usual, when I met Dr. Lee I was scared. I let him know what had happened as a child. He assured me he would do everything possible to make me comfortable. He was so kind and gentle with me. I no longer have the severe anxiety I had. The insurance company never received any such letter and now I am stuck with an outlandish bill for someone with dental insurance. Do not go to this company unless you want to get scammed. I will also be reporting them to the CA Dental Association and submitting a grievance to my insurance company to ensure this doesn't happen to anyone else. Very disappointing.

The staff from the moment you walk in greet you with such great hospitality and kind smiles, they even gave me a tour and mentioned they do monthly raffles for their clients! They also had a great waiting area with water and a beverage area! I have always been so nervous going into the dentist, but not once was I nervous here. I can't even put into words how nice the staff and Dr. Hannah was, absolutely amazing. He even looked at my teeth after and an old filling for me and suggested I get it refilled. Which he did not have to do, he just did it out of kindness. My husband after my appointment decided to become a new patient here, and I'm now getting my little sister to come here and possibly her husband as well! I told them to make the call! If some of the negative commenters made a choice to get a second opinion, which Shawn B did, maybe their outcomes would have been better. Personally I needed more dental work than expected from the start, but, Smiles kept me in the loop, dental removal of wisdom teeth completed, 4 crowns applied. I was offered options and reasons for one or another of choices. Having a conversation with the clinician in any medical setting is the right thing to do. Getting second opinions, if there are concerns, is also the right thing to do. Patients need to remember that asking for a little extra medication to deaden the root systems prior to fillings, crowns, and removals is the right thing to ask for. If a patient is older and sensitive to teeth removals, ask for conscious sedation, especially if you are having dental "surgery". My Careington 1 plan helped me to save money and Sierra Smiles is the only dental office that accepts that plan. Very good job, from my experiences.

In fact, he is so wonderful I even switched my child to him around age 7. He has top of the line equipment, and his hygienist are some of the most gentle cleaners ever. He's never tried to up-sell me or anyone in my family nor recommend something unnecessary.
