Dr. Lee and his assistant Young do not know how to bill correctly. I should have taken the hint when Young told me that "no insurances pay" when we first went. They completed dental work that they knew would not be covered by my insurance and when I asked them to submit a new claim the said that "Dr. Young needed to send a letter to the insurance pleading on your behalf". The insurance company never received any such letter and now I am stuck with an outlandish bill for someone with dental insurance. Do not go to this company unless you want to get scammed. I will also be reporting them to the CA Dental Association and submitting a grievance to my insurance company to ensure this doesn't happen to anyone else. Very disappointing. read more

Dr. Lee and his receptionist are a great team, they had been working with me for weeks about a tooth extraction I needed to have done. They were very patient and understanding through the whole process leading up to the date of extraction . During the procedure Dr. Lee calmly talked me through the entire process letting me know what was happening, making sure I wasn't in any pain, and overall just making me as comfortable as I could be for the time I was there. I have gone to so many different dentists and am so happy to have found Dr. Lee. I have an autoimmune disorder that causes my mouth to not produce enough saliva. This means my teeth are not naturally protected from decay and I end up having serious problems no matter how good my home care is. Most people with my condition end up with dentures. Through Dr. Lee's thorough care, I have not lost a tooth. I had a painless perfect root canal a few years ago. He also does implants, so I won't have to get dentures. I am very impressed with Dr. Lee. I had a dental emergency (abcessed tooth with major infection) over the Thanksgiving holiday. After leaving messages with over a half dozen dental offices Dr. Lee was the one who returned my message and opened his office on a Saturday to take care of my tooth. Unfortunately we did not have a good experience. Husband was nickeled and dime instead of taking care of tooth he had an issue with. Dentist would not take care of the issue but rather wanted to talk about a full dental plan and how much it would cost him to fix every issue he's ever had. Unfortunately that's not why we were there, but rather to take care of one painful tooth. Since then asked for x-rays to be sent to new Dr. in another city but office refuses. I would give a no star if I could, I had this dentist for over 10 years, I got tired of EVERY crown he ever put in my mouth failing, and it always being my fault Left this dentist with my family and even though we have been going to the dentist every 6 months for cleanings, my son had 9! yes I said 9 cavities that our new dentist found, my husband had to have a 3 hour cleaning to clean all the tarter in his gums. I always wondered why he had bad breath right after a cleaning. I wouldn't normally do a review, but after having a tooth ache last night, I went to use dental floss on the area that was bothering me and what do you know, another crown falls out. The inside of the crown was black and nasty causing the inside of the tooth to Rot . He does crap work, Way to keep me coming back into your business Another guarantee job for you? It was he best thing I did was to leave his lousy practice If you want to waste your money go see this guy, he will make sure you come back to him over and over and spend more money with him. He will give you some reason how it's your fault, because You use your teeth. Every crown he has done failed, I even lost one tooth because the crown kept breaking off until there was no option but to pull the tooth I'm disgusted. I can't believe I trusted this guy for so long. Update: 9/2018 I just replaced yet another crown this guy did, and I have one more crown that the entire back of the crown has rotted out from the inside out I had to chose which of the 2 crowns I could afford to replace this year Prolly going to lose this 2nd tooth. Both of these crowns failing just after 5 years. Like ALL of the crowns he has done. It's funny my insurance will replace the crowns every 5 years and so interesting how all of my crowns he has done fail just about the 5 year mark. It's been a long time since I've been to the dentist and I was honestly not excited to go...at all. Once I arrived however, I was greeted by my first name even though I had never been to Doctor Lee's office. It honestly felt like I had been there multiple times and I was already part of the family. My wait was exactly long enough to fill out a simple form and then I was immediately taken to an office. Dr. Lee took some simple X-rays, explained everything he observed in an easy to understand, visual way. Everything was clean. He even took some amazingly clear (color) pictures of my teeth and/or areas that I needed to practice better brushing. Then he cleaned my teeth with a high powered baking soda/salt spray mixture (I think?). It took less than 10 minutes and my teeth have NEVER felt this clean. 45 minutes in and out and it made me question why I had put it off for so long. They even went over my insurance coverage (in detail) so I fully understood it's benefits! I never write reviews and honestly question if this is too much info but if you're like me and are procrastinating a typically miserable experience, stop! This is your spot. What a joke for a dentist! He was rude, degrading, and unprofessional to both staff and client! It took five months for me to be billed even after coming in at one point to get a copy of my x-rays. The only bill I have ever received from them states, "Payment must be received within 10 days or immediate action will be taken!" Ten days are you serious? Who sends out a first bill with this kind of information on it? Then when I called to talk about the issue and see how much total was due and how much my insurance covered the receptionist (his wife) refused to give me this information! My current dentist has no problem giving out these totals! I feel that they may be wanting to not tell their clients this information on purpose! Many people will just pay a bill, especially one that is worded this way! I would not recommend this dentist to my enemy, let alone someone that I like! THIS DENTAL OFFICE IS A TOTAL JOKE! read more
