Three of us entered the store and the lone staff member stood behind the sales counter looking at a computer. We spent a good five minutes handing a few shoes and viewing three different displays. Upon exiting, the lone staff member was still standing in the exact same spot behind the counter. Not one word spoken to us!

I was surprised at the various selections that they had. The SA was quiet and more reserved, but readily available to offer any assistance. Definitely a laid-back vibe with no pressure to purchase. Note that the price includes all the taxes, so what you see on the price tag is what you will be paying. A friend of mine purchased a pair of sandals, and she seemed very happy with them! +nice selection of sandals +friendly SA +located next to the Red souvenir shop +located at La Isla

They carry all the major brands of sneakers of every kind, as well as clothing and sports equipment. I needed a pair of new running shoes and I was able to find a comfortable pair at a great price. I would recommend this store if you need something that you forgot to pack.

This place feels super safe- when I went, I was pretty much shadowed by security forces wearing armored vests with walkie-talkies. This is actually kinda the entrance to even fancier places, a ferris wheel, and high-end residences. The mall doesn't seem to have any public restrooms. There is no food court, just a smattering of high end places that are kinda tucked here and there throughout the mall. Parking looks challenging. I'd rather take the bus here. When I went, it appeared that they were expanding the footprint of this shopping mall.

I just love the Gucci in La Isla! I am in Cancun fairly frequently and I always visit. Employees…read moreare very attentive and helpful and, unlike some Gucci boutiques, they are very friendly! The selection is good, and, if they don't have a size, they can get it from Mexico City in a few days. I did that with a pair of shoes and was thrilled to get them before I flew home. Probably the biggest question American shoppers would have is how are the prices? Comparable to those in the US. However, Mexico has a tax-back system somewhat like Europe. Located upstairs in the same building as Gucci, is the tax refund office. You need the receipt, same credit card, passport and your return flight info on your phone. So, in the end, when the tax is refunded, you save between 8% to 15% over US prices. You are not only saving sales tax you would have paid in USA, but, getting the included tax refunded. Nothing better than getting your Gucci-fix while on vacation!

We wanted to return a Christmas present that would not work and we're accused of using said item (even though it had only been taken out of the bag at Christmas time and never again). Then when they finally said it was ok to be returned they would not give us any money back for two weeks "because they had to process" and we had to come back and claim it in person. This was not a cheap gift and so we wanted the money back. Overall a terrible experience took over an hour to return one item and we still walked away with no money.

I was kind of creeped out by this as it was as if they were expecting violence. All the usual high end brands are here: Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Dolce & Gabana, Prada, Tiffany, Cartier, Rolex. It was not busy when I visited & I wonder if this part of La Isla is ever busy. I just don't imagine most visitors to Cancun shopping for high end merchandise. It is the same price as in the US. The only difference was that if you made a purchase, you could possibly get the 9% tax refunded on leaving Mexico. You just need your credit card, store receipt, passport, immigration form & flight ticket. That said, Golden Goose had me complete the form online and I never received the refund :'-(
