Scottie's Donuts are making their mark on the Treasure Valley and for good reason! I'm a sucker for the classics like a regular or chocolate glazed donut. If I like those, I'll try almost anything. Scottie's has their classics down; so much so that we walked out with way more than two people need. Don't worry, we shared! My husband really enjoyed the pop-tart inspired donut. I've been scouting the Treasure Valley for tacos and have found some good ones. This location is super convenient for me, but I won't be going back. Tacos are priced at $3.50 each, the most I've paid so far. My disappointment is with the carnitas tacos. Pork is so easy to cook and get juicy delicious meat, but these were the driest carnitas I have ever had. Seriously. Bad batch? I hope so for their sake, but I can find better consistent tacos for less elsewhere. Sorry Toros.

We were able to enjoy their tacos at Powderhaus Brewing in Garden City. Always expect the line to be long. They have a strong following of dedicated customers. Bring some friends, so you have someone to talk to while you wait. :) I'm a huge fan of tacos, and have been for a long time, so I've tried a LOT of tacos. We ordered all one of each of these tacos. They were all well-enjoyed, and I especially like their carne asada taco, snd I believe others at the table liked the smoked pork tacos too. The jalapeño poppers were pretty spicy, so try at your own risk. We like the salsas, but not a fan of the queso. Honestly, with how they use fresh ingredients, smoke their own meat, offering high-quality food, made with care about how they prepare it, I highly recommend them, but waiting in line for more than an hour can be a deal breaker for me, unless I'm in a group with a drink in my hand!

They do have a spicier dry rub on them but their two BBQ sauces we used on them - one a more mustardy type and the other more traditional - balanced out their flavor. The meat was good and both of our dishes had a good amount. The quesadilla came with pico and lettuce inside. The two salsas they gave us were ok by themselves, but were very good on the food. Our order was ready in about 10 minutes. Customer service was very nice. The spicy yellowtail hand roll was also delicious, with just the right amount of spicy yellowtail, seaweed, cucumber, avocado, and the light rice I requested. The restaurant and restrooms were both very clean, and the fresh flowers added such a sweet touch. Even the background music was at the perfect volume--not too loud. Sadly, they do not offer wheelchair access. However, they have a pet-friendly outdoor patio, which is a nice bonus. I'm already looking forward to returning again and again. DiLulo's Taqueria looks to be a family taqueria serving fresh Mexican food. The lady working the truck was very nice and friendly. The truck looked clean and well managed. Payments options include most touchless transaction options. For lunch I ordered two tacos: Pollo and Asada. The tacos are full of plenty of protein and topped with cilantro, onions, salsa, and lime. Both meats had good flavor and were tender and juicy. The tacos are served on one corn tortilla. This one tortilla decision is the one bad experience that I had. Getting the tacos to go, after a 10 minute commute, the tortillas started to fall apart because of the juice and heat. Be cautious on to go orders as the tortillas might cause troubles. As a side dish, I ordered the rice. The rice has good flavor and felt fresh. If you are looking for some good Mexican food and you see this truck, I would recommend stopping by. Cheers Always!!
