Come to find out, the technician at the dealership was only going off of a noise he heard while driving it. Ric & Rocky's fully inspected my vehicle and cleaned the pins. My car now runs great. Because of Ric & Rocky's they saved me $530 to $900 that I was quoted from the dealership that I didn't really need. Scammers…read more110% Caught red handed several times for one friggin job, which they had to redo because of their installation, so instead they called Monroe and said they gave them bad parts and got new ones. That's Monroe's loss because the reason the struts were no good was because they left the giant stickers across the top of them and they couldn't seat to the car. I drove my sister an hour on the freeway twice with the car like this, steering all unsteady. They even tried to fake it like they fixed the struts and called me begging to get the car which I couldn't, only to call the next morning and found out it wasn't pulled in until then. So he was trying (desperately) to get me to pick up the car, (I'm sure with they had cut the stickers out, because it had never entered the shop yet. They put the struts in the next day when they arrived. Had I picked up my car Mike would have made up a story about me picking up my car I am sure and kept the brand new struts from Monroe, hoping I wouldn't notice in the few days left I had in my warranty that the car was still unstable. There was also a very serious problem with the rear axle which I know they had their hands on to put shocks on but they didn't mention it to me because they Cherry picked their work. This is how I first met Mike at the telegraph location. I have worked on cars at home, I'm aware of how much shops charge, and asked him for a quote. It was so long ago I don't remember specifically it might been a hub, but I recognize an "I don't want to do it" price when I see it. Later it turned out it cost half of what he had quoted me being the point. So I already knew the telegraph location was sketchy then they moved the sketchy guy to the Ecorse location so that makes me think that they're all sketchy and I'm done with them and I think anyone should be warned the same.

This is the most unprofessional shop, looks pretty shady, and finally pathological liars. I came in for a simple service for my car and to make sure everything is alright. But it turned into a nightmare. I can hear the employees not wanting to work and even telling customers false information, I'm no mechanic but I do a lot of work with service shops and I am a car enthusiast myself. To tell a customer they need to change their fuel pump to be able to get more life out of the oil as well as fixing a thermostat doesn't seem pretty fair. Also telling customers that oil changes may take up to 3 hours to get done? Ridiculous. DO NOT COME HERE PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF! Someone needs to come in this place of business and make some big changes.

I was not greeted at all, I had to walk past the door into the entrance to the yard in order to try to talk to someone. I was just stopping in to find out the offerings, the type of vehicles, etc., and I had my 10 year old son with me. The two "gentlemen" sitting by the table had to be addressed before they would speak to me. I tried to say what I was doing there, and why I stopped in. I was interrupted and told I had to pay $1 to see the yard. Twice. I had said that was not necessary, and tried to ask questions once again, and was told I had to pay, and my son could not accompany me. I said again I did not intend on walking the yard, I wanted to know if they had a manifest, what major tools could be used, hours of operation, etc., but got interrupted once again by a "woman" who walked out to say my son could not be here. I was interrupted again when I was saying I had no intention of going on the yard, when she said he had to stand inside the door, which was less than 5 feet away. I got sick of trying to give my business to them, and sick of being treated like an ass and left. They need the $1, to not be interrupted while sitting in their behinds, and to be rule mongers for rules not listed in any way that I saw more than they needed to represent the company in a responsible, yet reasonable and friendly way. I will drive out of my way to give my business to someone who treats me like I am a wanted customer, and will "tolerate" my investigation of services before I give the obligatory fee. Not worth my money. I will pay more elsewhere then ever go back.
