We've been using Walker for years. Alfredo was so friendly and did an amazing job with painting two of our rooms. He came on time, and finished efficiently. He even hung the curtains back up before he left. One of the rooms has a single textured wall but he completed it beautifully, and we are very impressed and grateful. He also painted behind the TV on the wall so neatly. Thank you for another great service! read more

Beautiful job! Loved the painters, Nick and Hector, and couldn't be more pleased. Sal came every morning just to make sure I was happy (never had a contractor do that before). The guys took care of a problem I had with my closet door for over a year. They cleaned up very nicely every afternoon. I would strongly recommend this company, not only for the wonderful paint job, but making my life stress free. read more

We hired Walker to paint our Kitchen, Bath, Living and dining areas this week. This is the third time we have hired Walker, simply because they are reliable, professional, and expert at what they do. They start on time, and they finish on time. Walkers painters protect all your floors and furniture as if its their own, are neat throughout the project, are very organized, and clearly take pride in what they do. They do a thorough cleanup when finished, and leave your home looking just like new. I highly recommend for any paint project large or small, and plan to hire them again for my bedroom painting read more

Dave and Sal are very professional. The men who work with them are equally professional and careful on the job. No messes! There are no surprises either, as they always give a detailed contract. They painted my husband's full home interior in Queens, my parents home exterior on Long Island, and we are going to hire them to paint our new home on Long Island. An honest company. Highly recommended!! Juliette and Mike read more

Wonderful to deal with. Sal came over, looked at the areas we wanted to get painted, gave me an estimate and we scheduled the job. Communication was great. The team of painters arrived on time every day and were amazing. They were real professionals and were diligent workers. They were neat and cleaned up every day. No shortcuts or nonsense. They were so easy to communicate with and always made sure they were doing exactly what we wanted. They made the rooms look fantastic. They are just a pleasure to deal with. read more

My wife and I just recently moved into our home and wanted to get some work done before we started unpacking. We called one evening and Sal was at our house the next morning and had an estimate for us in two hours. Alfredo and his team were amazing. Every morning they arrived right on time and did an exceptional job on everything we asked for extremely fast and reasonably priced. Highly recommend to anyone and everyone, the best in the business. read more

We hired Walker painting to paint 2 bedrooms. One room had wallpaper on 2 walls. Sal was very good at communicating and understanding our needs. We had to have our floors sanded and refinished first prior to having the painting done. The floors came out perfect. Walker came exactly on the day they said they would and went to work. They did use tarps on all our newly finished flooring. There were a few issues that Sal was quick on remediating. The rooms came out beautiful. In hindsight though, I would have asked for them to put plastic protection on the wood floors before the tarps. After all was done, we noticed swirls in figure 8's on the one floor. We tried cleaning, but it was apparent that it was wiped by painter and left a residue that would not come out. We had the floor guy investigate and agreed that it was some sort of residue and said probably from the cloth they used to wipe. We had to have the floor buffed and another coat of poly and now it is perfect. I didn't report of Walker though, since I figured they were already paid and because of the off gassing, we didn't go into rooms and notice the swirls until about 3 weeks after. But this wouldn't stop us from using Walker again!! They did a great paint job! read more

Fantastic!!! Working with Sal was a pleasure. He was very knowledgeable and reasonably priced. His work was very good, and he finished on time! This was my 4th time using Walker Painting! They once again exceeded my expectations! The crew was courteous and professional but most importantly talented and fast! Great work, highly recommend! read more

They did a pretty good job. Guys worked hard. I needed to save a little bit of money so I had to remove a few rooms from the painting job and I feel like for the price they could've done a little better for me. They were still better than Frank's painting by a thousand or so. Definitely worth getting a quote from. We wound up going with them and overall we are mostly satisfied with the work. Definitely consider giving them a call! read more

What an amazing job! We're absolutely thrilled with the work they did, and the entire process. We had our home drywalled floor to ceiling to update the old wood paneling that was there prior. Dave walked us through everything start to finish coming back multiple times on the fly to help answer any questions we had. The crew was fantastic, the job was done quickly, and with great attention to detail. Dave even worked with us to help open up a window of time for us to move in for us to move in furniture mid job. We had a tricky project and a lot of uncertainty but Dave made it a breeze. He's fair, considerate and an overall great guy. Highly recommend Walker painting! read more

Last job they did they were dumping the dirty water or something from their bucket down the drain in my basement bathroom. How do I know? My ejector pit motor was running every 10 seconds for several minutes straight. There was dirty water all over my bathroom floor the painter did not clean up and water splashed all over the bathroom walls. I ended up finding out my check valve was damaged but cannot prove it was due to the nonstop dumping of whatever was being flushed in my basement bathroom. I suspect a good chance it was. I should have kept a closer eye on the painter and took pictures of the mess they made. Never having them return again. read more

We used Walker Painting about 10 years ago to paint the common areas of our house. When we were repainting the entire house due to construction, we called them again as we had such a great experience the first time. Sal was quick to respond, thorough with the quote and scheduling. The entire team that came to the house was so great. They were so kind, communicated daily with what the plan for the day was/end of the day wrap up chat, incredibly clean and courteous, took everything out of the way/covered/protected and everything back in its place at the end of each day. Highly recommend for the attention to detail and great experience! read more

Walker painting did an amazing job painting my deck. Sal was very communicative and accommodating and went out of his way to make sure I was pleased with the result. The team did a great job with a lot of detail work around wires and were able to cover every square inch of my deck without getting any paint on anything they shouldn't. The quality is great and the paint has held up very well through all of the storms this summer. Thank you again!!! read more

I got an estimate from Sal on Wednesday to paint 3 rooms He said they could come Friday and finish the same day ! He came with 3 gentlemen. He introduced one as the foreman They gently moved all my furniture to the center of each room and covered everything with clean drop cloths. Each man worked separately and then they all cleaned up together Great price too ! read more

The name of this company really should be "Walker Wall Repair and Painting," because owner Dave Walker and his team do a lot more than just paint your walls. My family and I recently bought an old house in Nassau County and every room looked old and dilapidated because of serious problems with the walls and ceilings that required a lot more than just a coat of paint. Walker did a magical job transforming our old walls into new ones. We had some rooms with old lumpy plaster walls that looked like they were made out of rotten paper mache and they skim coated to make them look like flat new drywall. We had a room where the walls were made out of ugly wood paneling straight from the Brady bunch era. Walker coated them so that they now look like fresh, flat drywall. We had stress cracks in the walls and ceilings, giant holes in closet walls, nail and screw holes everywhere and baseboard molding that had a gap in it so wide we could stick our fingers inside the wall.Walker fixed all of these. In short, they made our old house look new. Throughout the process, Dave and his team did an amazing job; he was always helpful and responsive and his group was extremely quick and efficient. While we invested quite a bit in the project overall, Walker was less expensive than other companies we got estimates from and Dave is the only person who talked about repairing the walls, not just painting them. Despite doing almost the whole house and doing some very serious skim coating and crack repairs, his team was done in about a week and a half. Dave was also really good at explaining why something cost what it did and at providing accurate estimates for the work. While other painters we talked to took days to even get back to us about a quote, Dave came on a Saturday and told us on the spot what each part of the project would cost and we immediately booked his team to start the following Wednesday. read more

I live in a condo/townhouse in Long Beach, and when my plumbing leaked into my downstairs' neighbor's apartment, I called Walker Painting, based on their excellent reviews and referrals, to patch up the drywall and paint the ceiling. Their workers came the day after Christmas and finished the job within a few hours. They did a fantastic job, leaving no mess behind. My neighbor and I were so pleased with their work...so much so that we're both hiring Walker Painting to paint our units in the coming months! read more

I've used Walker Painting exclusively for the last 7 years, over that time they have pretty much painted every room in my house. Since we're all working from home now, we decided to paint 4 rooms on our main level just this past October 12-15. Their set up and clean up was superb, their painters were just fantastic (thank you Alfonso and Miguel!). They wore masks and as always just so impressed with the quality and detail of their work, and trust me I am OCD on the details. We had painted our kitchen a unique robin's egg color and they were able to take a swatch of the paint and match it up perfectly. Every day, Sal, Dave and Andrea stopped by to check in and make sure everything was going well. My wife and I were so incredibly pleased! Charlie and Lisa read more

Great job all around. Quick to response to my inquiry. Sal came to my home when it was convenient for me. No problem with the date I had chosen. Hugo and Hector came on time each day and went right to work. They knew what was to be done, but asked first if they were not sure. Cleaned up completely when they were done. Would definitely use them again and recommend them to a friend. read more

Only call Walker painting if you require excellence, Talent and a perfect job. I'm actually overwhelmed at the degree of expertise everyone on their team showed. If a new problem came up it was never a problem. They not only painted but they repaired my house. Walls, woodwork, dings were all part of the package. They did a sealant in my basement and before they did they even washed the water pipes so that everything looks clean and pristine. Dave and Sal show up every day to check on progress. Willman the foreman kept everybody on task and the team was actually happy people. Sounds crazy but I was sad to see them go. All around good guys. I cannot recommend them highly enough, so if you're ready to get the job done and be happy at the end of it call them now. read more

I am a repeat customer and Dave and his team will always be my go to painters in the future. Recently moved into Manhattan and called Dave to obtain an estimate; not surprisingly he came same day! Him and his team painted the entire apt floor to ceiling including shoe and crown moldings, inside all closets, and all closet doors. Couldn't be happier with the results! It was a professional job completed in 3 days. The best part of working with Dave was what he did behind the scenes which was coordinate with the co-op building management company (proof of insurance and worker's comp) and working with the building staff to ensure a smooth experience. If you are looking for a painter in Manhattan, particularly in a co-op building, do not hesitate to call Walker Painting! read more

After a very long bad experience with contractors. I was leery of hiring anybody else to do work on my house. Dave came an assured me I would be happy with their work. I called his references and all boasted about the work they had done. I hired him to paint and fix walls in the down stairs of my house, and then I hired them again to paint and fix my plaster walls upstairs. Their work was amazing. The price was good. Their workers were nice, clean and worked their butts off. I will never call another painter just Walker Painters. read more
