This company's culture is unhealthy. The shower installers did not share with owner what happened:…read more that they backed into my garage apron to turn around and leave on 10/18. They backed up too far towards garage and dented the gutter above my garage in two places about 18 -24 inches apart . It also dislodged the downspout on left of garage. The gutter had to be replaced; it cost me time to find a company and 385 dollars for install of a new gutter. At first I thought it was an Amazon truck that was at fault - the height was right. But then I looked at the photos and the placement of the dents. As soon as I saw the Wolverine Glass truck again on 11/8 (my installation was delayed) with metal stuff/ladders sticking out about a foot from the back end of the truck, I knew based on my photos that they had done it. Their demeanor with me was also very different from the first time they were here - they knew I knew. I am owed an apology - and the company's insurance should pay for the 385. In addition, the customer service was below par. They never did courtesy calls to confirm appointments; I always had to call them to confirm. And at the end, I did not even receive a thank you - dirt on shower floor and an invoice via email for the last 50% of the bill. I do not recommend them.

It was the week before Christmas but they were still able to have my order ready the next day! I was quite pleasantly surprised Everybody in the shop was friendly and helpful. My wife and I went into Dexter Cabinet & Countertop on a Saturday afternoon to get an estimate for…read morecabinets and counters for our new kitchen. It seemed like a nice place with some good options for cabinets and counters. Del was the only one there and helped answer a few questions for us, informing us that he was the "counter guy" and that Tim was not in that day to do our cabinet estimate. That was fine, Del took our information and kitchen details to leave for Tim to contact us with a cabinet estimate. Del seemed knowledgeable about counters and that he'd do a good job with our counter estimate once Tim could get our cabinets done. 5 days later after calling once and emailing Tim, we hadn't heard anything back. We just bought the house and the 3-4 week lead time for ordering cabinets is part of the critical path of our remodel. It has been over 2 weeks now and we haven't been contacted once. We clearly were either not a priority for them or they lost/ignored our request for an estimate. They get two stars because they seem like their product is good and other reviewers have claimed that they do good work. We wouldn't know since they wouldn't even get to the point of giving us an estimate for our business. Make sure to call ahead to ensure that Tim or Del is in before driving over there, don't rely on them to contact you.

Great job of pricing and installation; they worked patiently with every quirk we threw at them…read more They even arranged for a plumber, which too often is the customer's responsibility. The price seemed to not be out of line with the big box stores but the process at those stores was pretty convoluted while Dexter Cabinet put it into one nice package (although we decided to purchase a different faucet than the several good ones they offered in their package). After a couple go-rounds at Lowe's, we threw up our hands and went with the more "comfortable" (and LOCAL) Dexter Cabinet option. Glad we did. I would however recommend that potential customers take some responsibility for keeping the communication going. Contact them if you don't hear back when you expect to. That worked really well for us. This seems to be the way to work with most contractors, we've found.

Our project was a complete kitchen and bath remodel. Removed a wall, moved doors, converted a 1/2…read morebath into a full bath. Replace the flooring, ceiling and walls. We re-insulated the exterior walls too. The project was about 16 weeks long, maybe 2 weeks longer than the original estimate but that was all due to sub-contractor timing. Coffer Contracting worked to keep things on track and worked around the subs. The kitchen is beautiful the attention to detail is very well executed. There were very few changes to the original project and they were all at my request. Like adding the insulation to the project. Coffer was fair on the quotes for the changes. They have a reliable and trustworthy crew and we were very comfortable letting them work when we were home or gone. We took a little vacation during the heaviest demolition. They worked hard to control the dust and keep things clean. The transformation is so amazing that we have a hard time remembering what the old kitchen looks like. Coffer Contracting did the following work - demolition, rough carpentry, management of subs for electrical, plumbing, heating, and drywall. They hung the cabinets, doors installed the shower stall and did all the finish trim on the cabinets. I had a separate contractor do the floors because they were my friends. I would hire them again to do more work. But, I think I will take a rest for a while.

We chose to reach out to Baker Inspections after asking in our new community's Facebook page for recommendations and it was practically unanimous that they were the ones to call. The response time was phenomenal from my very first inquiry, and Marshall was kind and professional every step of the way. When I spoke with him and explained our situation, that we were making this purchase from across the Country, he didn't view it as an obstacle but rather gave me several options for how to handle the Inspection and how to communicate during and after. The morning of the Inspection I received a text message along the lines of, focus on work and know I've got this covered. I almost cried with relief! Our Inspection report was timely and thorough including pictures and some video. Marshall walked through the entire report, made recommendations, and was patient while we asked a million questions. After the inspection we heard from Marshall congratulating us, wishing us luck, and asking how things ended up with certain items he'd identified. We're thrilled to move to our new community knowing we not only have a well inspected home but a great new neighbor!
