This way we bought 3 doughnuts and could try each. There was no disappointment in the results. What was interesting we each picked a different favorite. The gentleman serving was in good spirits for the cold morning. He probably left in better spirits as he sold out.

I kept it simple and ordered a plain Liège waffle, and I'm really glad I did. It was served warm, right off the griddle, with a perfectly crispy exterior while still having that dense, chewy texture you get from the brioche-style dough. The Belgian pearl sugar caramelized throughout the waffle, adding little clusters of sweetness and an extra bit of crunch with each bite. It was perfectly sweet all on its own and honestly didn't need any toppings or extras. They had plenty of delicious-looking specialty options if you're looking for something more indulgent, but I loved being able to really taste the waffle itself. It was the perfect little dessert after enjoying our food from Four Hens Creole Kitchen and Steve's Meltdown. Sometimes simple is all you need, and I would definitely order the plain Liège waffle again.

Recently spent some time in New York and was happy with the bagels - non chewy, not tuff, soft, and consistent throughout. I went with the New York New York option, ample meat was between my bagel halves. Very filling and great taste. I opted for the potato salad as my side, it is mustard based. Potato salad is always Russian Roulette for someone that does not like crunchy onions in their food -- this one passed the test. The flavor was there but no big chunks of raw onion were to be crunched while enjoying my meal. (Please never change that) Great friendly service. Refills on fountain sodas and tea available. Tzitzel is the provel cheese in bagels (e.g. it originated in St. Louis). Note: they do take food allergies seriously. I witnessed a patron share she had an allergy and requested they wash off the knife before making her order and they did just that!
